"We all have that one friend that needs to learn how to whisper." -Anonymous
Discarded flower petals, plastic charms, endless amounts of multicolored beads littered the floor, while string and twine hung off of every piece of furniture in the Titans Central's living room. The Herald who had just come back from a Titan's Leader Meeting was stunned by the mess before him. Usually after a leader summit the rooms he left were never any different when he returned, but today it looked as if a tornado had blown through one of Jericho's many craft kits leaving a path of shiny destruction.
A tuft of blond hair was poking out from beneath some scattered pillows, and the teleporter made his way over, only to lift up a cushion to find two darling green eyes innocently staring back at him.
"Jericho," Herald sighed gesturing towards the chaos, "What happened here?"
The younger boy looked aimlessly around then turned his sweet face back towards the Herald and shrugged with a small smile. With another sigh the trumpeter grasped Jericho's delicate little hand and together they descended down to the girls' floor. Maybe the ladies of the tower knew about the upstairs disaster.
The girls choose to have their rooms located on the first floor to avoid the noise (and the smell) of the boys; The hallways were painted with a deep magenta and vibrant violet spirals to represent their powers, as were the names written across the doors for a more personal flair. However, both Argent and Jinx were walking to the commons when they saw a slightly disgruntled Herald pulling along a tiny Jericho who waved cheerfully to them.
"Hello ladies," Their team leader said as he caught up to them; by now he had plucked the team's 'baby' up into his arms for faster transportation. "You wouldn't have known what occurred upstairs now would you?"
Jinx and Argent both looked at each other and then back at the two boys in front of them, expressions confused.
"No sorry love, we've been down here all day. Has something happened?" questioned the New Zealander looking concerned.
"Nahh, nothing you ladies should be worried about. I'll go track down the guys about it."
And with that he pulled out the Horn of Gabriel and blew deeply creating one smooth sound echoing down the hall; a few moments later a bright swirling portal appeared ready to take it's adventurers away. The Herald turned towards the two girls and gave a polite bow as he and Jericho, who flashed them a couple of peace signs, stepped through instantly appearing on another floor. What they heard from the two brashest members of the team answered their question completely.
"Dude, how do you burn everything if you're powered down?"
"Because I'm still a pyro, you idiot. Besides, what loser thinks creating a wind tornado is the best way to clean up beads?"
"Uh it would have worked if you hadn't managed to make everything you touched burning hot!"
"Well sorr-ey! It's not like I meant too!"
Sliding the door open the boys' lounge room Kid Flash and Hot Spot stood pressed up against each other coated in the remains of their upstairs endeavor. Flowers scattered through their hair, beads and charms rolling around their shoes, and string tangled around their wrists and ankles as they continued to insult each other; neither side backing down until one admits defeat.
The Herald cleared his throat, "Ahem, I see you two made quite a disturbance upstairs. Why?"
Both teens whip their heads towards the open doors, faces flushing with embarrassment.
"Well you see," Started Kid Flash sheepishly rubbing the back of his head, "We were trying to make presents for the girls, but um-"
"We messed up." Hot Spot finished looking guilty. His eyes glanced to the floor in shame.
"Good to know, now clean it up." Their leader says as he places Jericho back onto the ground who scampers around collecting the fallen flowers and placing them into his own hair, "At least you're both honest about it, but seriously pick up after yourselves. It's a wreck up there."
"Yes, Mal." They mumble simultaneously.
As both roughed up looking boys march on by passing the teleporter, Kid Flash exclaimed, "Hey, how come Jericho doesn't have to clean? This whole thing was his idea in the first place!"
But when they looked around, the body jumper was nowhere to be seen.
"Don't worry boys," The Herald whispered, "He couldn't have gotten that far."
And with another strong blow into his magical horn all three boys jumped through the opened portal.
