I don't own neither Persona or Pokémon.

The individual known as Makoto Yuki didn't know we're he was.

Never mind what he was doing before. Or anything else other than what he assumed what was his name. All that he could really feel in this situation was some grainy feeling on his face. Must be sand.

Flip*

'Never mind.' The feeling transferred to his back as he was flipped over. He opened his eyes to try to see who flipped him only to see nothing except the blue sky and a couple of clouds. Wait.

The sky was shaking. No that's not right. The sandy ground started to shift under him. As if it was moving.

With his curiosity finally winning out he decided to sit up to see who or what it was.

From all the things he expected he didn't expect a giant sand castle to be moving around while he lay on what he assumed was a 'sand bed' on top of said sand castle.

While most of his memories were currently missing his brain still was willing to give him one last token of knowledge.

'Did I fall in a Ghibli film?'

"Well that's a thing."

Prof. Kukui was not a man unknown to odd situations.

Fashioned with just a lab coat which barely covered his tanned skin a white hat and a pair of brown shorts Prof. Kukui cut an odd figure considering his specific field.

Considering his subject of investigation being Pokémon moves and his willingness to even use his own body as a target for said moves to better understand said moves it was a given he was a bit odd.

But the sight in front of him beat even that. Not the fact that Palossand took a person as a hostage. The sand castle-mon tended to do that when their irritated or just very affectionate to their trainer.

But to parade an unknown but unharmed blue haired kid on the top of one of its towers? Near the area of the crash? After he had a talk with Prof. Burnet? That was a bit odd. Even more odder when he went Inside the Palossand!

"Ruff!" "Yeah. We're going have to get close Rockruff."

Hopefully the kids not possessed.

He walked around inside of the sand castle monster.

What an odd sentence.

Still this was his current predicament and he was going to deal with it one way or another. So he walked around the inside of the castle. He didn't want to jump out the top of the monster with the possibility of getting hurt so he decided to just go inside.

Was it smart? No. But was the other option better? Not really.

Wether it was upper parts of the castle or the bottom of parts of the monster he walked inside the odd sand monster trying to see if he could get a way out. After exploring every room(still odd) and the hall? Which was just a bigger room where small group of sand monsters with shovels In their heads slicked about as if they were looking for something.

Oddly enough his movement was never halted when they spotted him. If anything one of them came to hug one of my legs and then move on to his search.

Which reinforced his theory that the bigger monster didn't view him as a intruder. More like a guest? Considering that when he walked around he could see pathways and doors just being made that's the best conclusion he can make right now.

Which now led to the new door that suddenly appeared on the wall.

He raised an eyebrow at the door. Then he shrugged and placed his hand on the handle. What's the worst that can happen?

-Meanwhile in Ula Ula Island-

An Absol raised his head making a gobsmacked face.

"They didn't just do that?!"

-Back in Palossand-

When he open the door he wasn't expecting much. Maybe more of those hug ready sand monsters?

Instead he was met with a startled and lightly injured little brown and cream colored animal with sharp teeth.

The Yungoos and Makoto stared each other with an awkward silence. Until Makoto decided to break the ice with the injured animal. He stretched out his hand to it.

"Are you alright?" *Chomp*

Why?

He really should stop tempting fate.

Welp this was fun.

Our protagonist is awake but disoriented! In an unknown environment how will he strive?! And what are these my stripes creatures!

This story is a fun write. It's very easy to come up with these chapters, so the next update might come soon. I've been wanting to do a Pokémon fic for a long time so I'm happy with its reception!

As for my my other story 'All In' the update will be live tomorrow. My weekend will be free so I will be working in these stories quite a bit. Even got an idea for a new story for a franchise I like.

Well for 2 actually but one comes out before the other one.

Review Time!

Cold-heart-Angel23: Thanks for the complement! The introduction was fun to write. The hardest thing for the story was both the name and the story description. And no shadows won't appear. I have a different chaos running around.

Phantom Thief of Hearts: I wasn't set in Alola at first but after watching the Sun & Moon anime and playing a bit of Ultra Moon everything just fit together. I understood that reference but Alola is just the more perfect region because of its whole issue with space and time. As for the characters it's a mix. Characters from Makoto's verse won't appear. But something will happen with Persona characters. Also this isn't a crack fic. Sorry if I confused you but what I meant was that this story will be spinning things to be silly. Similar to Pokémon's own humor. Also Monster Musume at the moment doesn't do it for me. Maybe later?

Thanks for the reviews and sorry it took me a while to answer them. A lot of stuff happening and such. Please leave more reviews as they help me both better develop as a fanfic writer and fuel my drive to write.

That's all for now.
