Disclaimer: I don't own The Simpsons.

"D'oh!" Homer groaned as he pressed the button on the television remote in frustration. "The TV's broke! Now we can't get to see tonight's movie! Oh why did this have to happen on tonight of all nights!"

"Oh, never mind, Homie." Marge said softly, comfortingly rubbing her husband's shoulder. "We don't need TV when we can all just spend some time together as a family…"

"That's right!" Bart agreed, getting up from the couch to stand in front of the rest of the Simpsons. "And what better way to spend it than by listening to this story I wrote?"

"You wrote a story, Bart?" Lisa exclaimed. "I'm surprised, considering you don't even like reading books…"

"Oh this is no ordinary story I wrote, sis!" Bart smiled as he held up a sheet of paper covered in his handwriting. "This is the story to end all stories."

"Oh, isn't that wonderful?" Marge beamed. "Alright, Bart. We'll listen to your story you wrote."

"Oh, do we have to?" Homer moaned.

Lisa made a face at her brother before settling back with a bemused smirk. "This I have to hear."

Marge held Maggie gently upright on her lap while Homer slouched grumpily on the couch with a fold of his arms.

"We're ready, Bart," Marge urged. "Go ahead. Start telling us your story."

"Yeah, go on, Bart!" Lisa added. "Wow us with your imagination you've put into words!"

"Stupid boy…" Homer muttered through gritted teeth. "Stupid story…"

Seeing he had an audience before him, Bart held up the sheet of paper, cleared his throat, then began to read aloud the story he had written.

Once upon a time, there was a kid named Bart Simpson. He lived in Springfield with his mom, dad and two little sisters. He was huge fan of Krusty the Klown. He really looked up to him as his hero. It was his dream to one day be on his show.

One day, there was trouble in Springfield. Sideshow Bob had broken out of prison. He had been sent to jail after attempting to frame Krusty for his crimes. It was only thanks to the ingeniousness of Bart that his evil plan to get the clown sent down had been foiled.

Now Sideshow Bob had escaped. He was thirsty for revenge on his ex-colleague and the awesome kid who had wrecked his scheme. He headed straight to town to confront Krusty and Bart.

"I'll get you, Krusty!" Sideshow Bob said. "And your little fan too!"

Luckily, Bart was there to protect Krusty. He just so happened to had gained some increasingly powers to defeat Sideshow Bob. They could only be described as 'cool' and 'cowabunga' as the little kid defeated the big bad villain and saved his hero again.

As soon as Bart beat Sideshow Bob, everyone in Springfield came out to cheer for him. There wasn't a single dude around who wasn't in awe of this amazing hero. No one was more proud of Bart than his own family.

"That's my special little guy!" said Bart's mom, Marge.

"We're so lucky to have such a great kid in our family!" said Bart's dad, Homer.

"I wish I was as awesome as my spectacular brother!" said Bart's sister, Lisa.

Although she couldn't say anything at all, Bart's baby sister, Maggie, was proud of him too. She hoped to grow up to be just like him.

"Thank you for saving me, Bart!" Krusty said to his number one fan. "You've always said in your hero! Well let me just say you're my hero too!"

From that day on, everyone worshiped the ground Bart walked on. The Mayor gave him the key to the city while the statue of Jebediah Springfield was knocked down to make room for one of him. But best of all, he got his wish to join Krusty on his show. It went on to become 'The Krusty the Klown & Bart Simpson Show' and the two stars lived happily ever after.

"So…" Bart smiled at his family upon finishing reading his story. "What do you think?"

The others stared wordlessly. Homer and Marge exchanged bewildered looks. They didn't know what to say about the tale their son had written out and read to them. Maggie couldn't say anything either - as she was completely unable to, so she kept her opinions on the story to herself.

Knowing exactly what to say about her brother's story, Lisa broke the silence.

"We'll firstly, Bart, your writing was incredibly rushed. There was no build up to the action, of which there was barely any. You didn't describe at all how Sideshow Bob was beaten by you - which brings me to my next criticism. All this story turned out to be was you meeting and being beloved by Krusty. You didn't even bother to change your name. All this makes your story a wish-fulfilment fanfiction in which your character, who you have failed to give any flaws, is nothing but an utter Gary Stu-"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah! Whatever, Lisa!" Bart cut his sister off, not paying any attention to her critique of his story. "Is there nobody here who can describe what I've written in a way I can understand?"

"AHEM!"

Hearing somebody clear their throat, Bart turned around - and was astonished to discover his family weren't the only audience he'd had listened to his story.

Standing at the open lounge window was the Comic Book Guy. His arms were folded as he frowned at Bart before letting out three words to tell the armature author exactly what he thought of his creative writing piece.

"WORST! STORY! EVER!"

The end.
