Doing another oneshot, this time for my fellow Dramione fans out there. I was kinda bored so I wrote this and now I'm waiting for the motivation to finish the next chapter of "A New Element". I kinda enjoyed writing the drapple last time so I think I'll just start randomly releasing oneshots to make it seem like I'm actually writing. This whole fic is in Draco's pov because it's just what I felt like.
Ps, this fanfic is set during the Yule Ball, also, I don't currently have the 4th book with me but I read it a few weeks ago again so I'm going off memory, sorry if it's not 100% accurate.
Anyway let's get started!
"Stunning. That was truly the only way to describe her. Her chocolate curls cascaded down her back, I noticed that it wasn't infact all chocolate brown, caramel highlights shone, and trickles of chestnut fell in delicate rings.
Her skin glowed like moonlight in the fairy lit hall. Her toffee eyes sparked with joy as she twirled with him. Jealousy, an emotion I rarely experienced, entrapped my heart as Krum, danced with her. Krum of all people! The egg headed oaf, truly believed himself worthy to dance with her when in reality he wasn't worthy of breathing the same air as her! I mean, what does Krum, have that I don't?! I'm richer, I'm just as famous, and I'm obviously smarter than that boil brained lout, so why is she there with him!?!
Our eyes locked, just for a spilt second, and those caramel orbs sparkled with joy, and even as she gazed at me for that minor moment, I saw no hate, anger, or even disgust, just amusement and a glimmer of sadness. I stared like a love struck fool, she obviously noticed but as she looked at me, I didn't give a damn.
On that evening I saw angel, an elegant and beautiful angel. If only my young and foolish self had realised how much a moment like that could affect my future, the fates had rewritten my story, and oh how grateful I was. Even in the hardships and suffering, I remembered the time our eyes met on that cold December night."
"And that, Scorp, Lira, And Timmy, is the moment I fell in love with your mother." I stated down at the three beautiful children before me, Scorpius' grey eyes met my own and he yawned, his siblings soon followed his actions. Two pairs of grey eyes, and one pair of brown stared at me before beginning to droop.
I placed Lira and Timothy on Timmy's bed before picking up Scorpius and taking him to his own room before tucking him in and quickly getting Lira and repeating the process once we reached her room. As I walked back into the walkway, I sighed, closed my eyes and dragged my hand down face, tears trickling down my cheeks.
I continued to silently sob until I noticed a faint tug at my shirt. I peered down to see a half asleep, three year old Timothy looking up at me, a confused look on his face.
"Papa, why are you cwrying?" He questioned. I gave him a small smile before leaning down and picking up the ashen haired boy and whispering in his ear,
"I'm just remembering some of the bad things I did when I was younger that caused some of my friends to leave, maybe if I had stopped sooner, I would still have some of my friends." I sighed again but chuckled at Timmy's puzzled face before smiling and taking him back to bed. I tucked him in and left, flicking off the light as I went.
Okay, that didn't really go to plan but I think it turned out okay. Hope you all enjoyed reading that as much as I enjoyed writing it. Until next time, ciao!
