"Okay, Renaldo, I'll meet you at the airport." Marquilla said the next day. She was driving down the road, checking her email on her phone and on her Bluetooth. Marquilla did have a driver, but never used him. She paid him for practically nothing because she always wanted to drive herself. She was a very bad driver though. She didn't follow any safety rules, made plenty of traffic violations but she never got caught.

"Which car are you in?" he asked.

"My black Escalade." she said.

"Oh, sexy. What are you wearing?" he asked sultriness in his voice.

"Go to hell." she said flatly.

"Hey, I'm boarding the jet now. I'll see you in eight hours."

"Alright, bye." Marquilla said and hung up. Right away, her phone rang again. "Hello?"

"Marquilla, it's me." said the frantic voice of Diego Morales-one of Marquilla's spies on Horatio, and one of her hitmen.

"Morales, why are you calling me? Do you have news?"

"No. they arrested me. I'm at the Miami-Dade crime lab. You need to come immediately!" he said. Marquilla slammed down the break, screeching the car to a stop. The people behind her had to do the same. They honked at her as they passed around her.

"Damn you, Morales! I'll be right there. Don't say a God damned word!"

"I won't," he promised. She ended the conversation and did a U-turn, cutting off two people. She sped toward the freeway and entered it, receiving more honks for her reckless driving. She sped down the highway, passing people without using her blinkers, going about thirty miles over what everyone else was going-which in turn was probably twenty miles over the speed limit. When she saw the exit for the crime lab, she cut across three lanes to get to it. People honked at her but she didn't pay attention to them.

She was focused on getting to the lab.

She got there, and stormed in. Once she got to the right floor level, she stormed into the interrogating room. Horatio and Eric Delko were there with Diego, asking him questions he wouldn't answer.

The two investigators stood immediately. Delko growled at her, "Riaz."

Marquilla smiled bitterly and said, "Delko, Caine." she turned to Diego and said, "Morales, what happened?"

"They arrested me." he said, "They think I killed Bianca Trujillo."

"Bianca's dead?" Marquilla asked, no surprise, sadness, anger-no emotion at all-in her voice.

"She was shot twice in the stomach." Eric said, handing a photograph of Bianca's dead face, which looked even gaunter, and a photograph of Bianca's stomach, which had two bullet holes, one on each side.

She knew exactly what had happened. She had hired Diego to kill this girl because she knew way too much about the Mala Noche. She knew its location, she knew who ran it, who was in charge and all the major people. So she told Diego to kill Bianca, and he obviously did. No one would find out, though.

"Anything else besides gunshots?" Marquilla raised her eyebrows, "Any DNA on her body? Any GSR on Diego? Huh?"

"No," Eric shook his head.

"Then no more questions until our lawyer arrive. Please." Marquilla said with eyes of stone. Eric and Horatio walked out and Marquilla sat down.

"Look, Marquilla," Diego started, "What happened was-"

"I know what happened." Marquilla said, "Don't ask why, I just do."

"Of course." he smiled. Their lawyer, a hefty man named Carlos Verdes.

There was one thing you had to know about Marquilla: Everyone on her side was Hispanic. They all had Spanish last names; they all spoke Spanish, or at least understood it. You could tell they were all Spanish. Marquilla's favorite saying was Be with your own kind. This meant, she got all the Spanish guys and the people against her could have the white guys. Like picking teams for a game of dodge ball, but everyone already knew what side they were on.

"This is outrageous!" Carlos bellowed, "Accusing my client of something you don't have evidence for! You can't prove he's guilty. You don't have anything against us!"

"He was at the scene of the crime when we found her body. He was just lurking around, then when he saw us he took off." Eric said, "He had done everything a guilty man would have."

"Do you think a guilty man would have stayed at the scene of the crime?" Carlos asked.

"No, but he was cleaning up or something. He was doing what a guilty man would have done."

"How do you know I was cleaning up?" Diego asked.

"Yes, you can't even prove that!" Carlos smacked the table, "He could have just been lurking around."

"Is that what you were doing?" Horatio asked Diego.

"Yes! I was checking out the body."

"What were you doing in her pockets then?" Eric asked, "You were searching around her clothes for something."

"I wanted to find a cell phone. I forgot mine and I had to call the cops." Diego explained, "I didn't take anything from her, I wasn't cleaning up. I didn't kill her!"

"Do you know who she is?"

"She works at the same club as me. I'm a bouncer though. She's a bartender. Our positions don't clash at all."

"What about you, Marquilla?" Horatio asked.

"Excuse me?" Marquilla asked.

"When he told you what we arrested him for, you said, 'Bianca's dead?'. How did you know her?"

"I'm a big time investor in the club. I know everyone who works there."

"Anything to prove you invested in it?" Horatio inquired.

"You can check with the club owners, my bankers, anything."

"How well did both of you know Bianca?"

Marquilla shrugged, "I didn't know her very well. I only knew her name."

"I didn't know her that well either." Diego said, "Like I said, our positions don't clash."

Carlos interjected furiously, "I demand you let my clients go now."

"You're free to go, but stay close." Horatio demanded. Marquilla nodded and took Deigo's arm, and led him out. Once they were in the car, she practically hissed at him.

"Why the hell did you stick around?" she asked, starting the car.

"Well here's what happened: I shot her from far away, right? But then I had to get the bullets."

Marquilla sighed. That's was she'd told him to do. "Why'd you shoot twice?"

Diego looked at her and said, "Leo said that was the only way to be sure."

"Oh…" Leo was never wrong.

"And I thought they were both through and through, but I guess they weren't, so I was gonna get inside her-"

"You never do that, dumbass!"

"I know. And then the cops came, so I ran."

"You never do that either. You act innocent." Marquilla scolded.

"Well this is practically over now, right?"

"No. You will be seeing them several more times. Just stick to the story. Bianca never bought from you. They can't connect you to the Mala Noche at all. I've made sure of it."

"How?" he asked.

"That's for me to know." she said, "So what have you seen on Horatio Caine?"

"Well, there's several opportunities during the day. He's not alone very often though, which is a dilemma since that's prime time."

"Alright." she nodded. All she was focused on was discussing this with Renaldo. She had to kill this boy, and kill Horatio Caine.

Anything confusing at all? Next chapter will try to clarify some stuff, like why they have to kill Diego. Also, sorry for being in OC Land here. Too many? I'll try to tone that down a bit with some Ryan in the next chapter.
