"So why did we just kill that kid?" Renaldo asked. They were in the car, pulling up to Marquilla's mansion in Pinecrest.

"He knew too much." Marquilla explained, "The spies shouldn't know anything. He did, he knew we are going to kill Horatio. The only people who should know of our plans are me and you. No one else. No tell me," she said, fingering the gun in her purse, "Does anybody in Brazil know anything?"

"No." he said confidently, "I didn't tell anyone why I was visiting the United States. In fact, they all think I'm in California."

"Good, Renaldo. Very good."

She got out of the car and walked inside. Every day with him was a thrill for her. Knowing that he could pull out a gun and shoot her for just being her, it was invigorating. However, she could do the exact same thing to him. She knew that she herself was not going to let out any secrets to the police. But she couldn't trust Renaldo. She couldn't trust anybody. Not even the people she knew best.

And Marquilla, wanting this more than anybody, had a plan for what she would do after Renaldo killed Horatio. She had to kill Renaldo. She couldn't trust him not to betray her, so she would fly back to Brazil with him. Then she would kill him, and fly back here like nothing had ever happened.

Not like he knew that, but he most definitely suspected it.

They spent most of the time avoiding each other when they're at her house. It's when Marquilla's ten spies come to give their reports that Marquilla comes in from the pool and Renaldo comes out of his bedroom.

"Thank you, men." Marquilla says to the spies, who are clueless of who the man they were tracking is, and the reason they were tracking him.

They all handed Marquilla detailed notes of their observations. They were trained spies, they knew what to do. Just like Renaldo's a trained hitman and Marquilla's a trained leader.

"Thank you," she said, "Now you may leave."

They nodded and Marquilla and Renaldo began to look over the notes and photos that were taken. Several were from crime scenes. A lot of what he did was just… Work.

"All he does is work." Renaldo said, "He doesn't do anything else."

"We've got to get him in his house." Marquilla suggested.

"No." Renaldo shook his head, "We can install a hidden weapon at the shack where we dropped the kid. You call in a dead body anonymously, you take off, they get there and I program it to shoot. Of course, we'll need video cameras so that I know when exactly to get him."

"That could work. We gotta start working immediately though, before someone else notices the body." Marquilla said.

"I have some stuff in my bag we can probably use." Renaldo said, then dashed upstairs. He came back with all the equipment they needed.

After Marquilla set up the camera and gun according to the directions Renaldo gave her, she heard the helicopter Renaldo sent outside. She left the shelter with the dead body in it and climbed swiftly into the helicopter. As it set off, she called 911.

"Hello, what's your emergency?" the operator asked.

Marquilla said, "There's a dead body at Laker Storage Sheds on the corner of Hibiscus and Palmetto. It's in the empty, unoccupied storage shed number sixty-seven."

The operator was about to ask Marquilla another question, but Marquilla hung up. She looked to the side of her to see Renaldo tracking the camera's findings on a little television.

Marquilla looked over and watched for about thirty minutes as police, paramedics and other authorities arrived. The paramedics pronounced Diego dead. The police taped the scene off and the CSIs arrived minutes later. As the helicopter dropped them off at King's Bay-the yacht club Marquilla's father used to belong to. They walked along the bridge to Antonio's yacht. It was abandoned. It hadn't been stepped on in so long.

Renaldo kept his attention focused on the gun and when to pull the 'trigger'. The way the gun would be set off is when Renaldo entered a specific password.

Marquilla looked back and saw him typing that code in, and she knew it had been done. She walked over, and was horrified to see all the CSIs-including Horatio-with their guns pointed at the camera. No one knew the camera was there, but they were ready. And no one was hurt.

"You incompetent bitch!" Marquilla hissed. She grabbed the little television form his hands, and chucked in into the water. They watched as it sputtered, sparked and finally sank, ruined. "How the hell could you miss?"

"It wasn't my fault. He moved." Renaldo said.

"That was our one chance! You are clearly not the man for this job!"

"I am, Marquilla," he begged, "Please, one more chance."

"I do not give second chances." Marquilla repeated the words of her father, "You will go back to Brazil tonight. No excuses."

"When I get back there… I'll be killed, won't I?" he inquired.

Marquilla smiled bitterly and said, "Of course not."

After giving specific instructions to another hitman to kill Renaldo, Marquilla felt as if she had no worries. But she did. She had a lot of them.

First of all, she figured out that the case of Bianca's murder had gone cold. That was good, but now with Diego having been killed, it would be reopened and everyone would be reevaluated. Marquilla knew she would be questioned. But she had people for this. She had people who would take the blame for her, who would go to jail for her. And when that time came, she knew what to say so that they would be arrested instead of her.

She was terrible. She had already called them though, and they agreed. They and taken instructions from Antonio to take the wrap.

Right now, Marquilla was wishing she never got into any of this. But she couldn't get out. She just needed the Diego thing to blow over.

Then after it did, Marquilla had another worry. But first, the story.

Caine and Delko showed up at her door, and she gave them names. They visited her again days later and said that the men had confessed and been put in jail. She was off the hook for everything.

But now, she had another worry. Caine, and how he just couldn't seem to die.

Sorry this chapter was so lame and so short. You know, there's not too much information on the Mala Noche, so it's difficult to write. Also sorry I lied… There was no Ryan in this chapter. I hope there will be Ryan in the next chapter, that is if it works out. Review and tell me what you want! I need ideas! Do you want Marquilla to cross over and go on the good side? Do you want her to give up entirely on the Mala Noche? What do you want from me?
