Rose

I hopped into the car and breathed deep through my nose and closed my eyes willing the pain to go away, letting the future seep into my mind.

The sky was Cold and Grey, thunder cracked through the silence and lighting lit up the sky, people rushed around in dresses and tuxes while I stood, everyone walking around me, I wasn't there, they couldn't see me. The vision took me to the car park where the Sons and The sisters stood. All but me. 'Where the hell is she?' Reid said, slamming his fist into a tree. 'If he has her, I'm gonna kill him. I swear to god Caleb, If your stupid idea has killed her -'

It stopped there. I only saw the back of my eyelids. I slowly opened them to see Emily knocking on the window, her eyes wide with worry. I opened the door and she slid into the passenger seat. 'What did you see?'

'It was raining, it was cold, everyone looked like they were going to a dance. I saw you, Holly and Lillie, and Caleb, Reid, Tyler and Pogue. Reid was saying where is she, he punched a tree and started talking about someone who had, if he 'has' her, Reid would kill him. Whoever he is.'

'Any clocks - calendars... anything to tell you when.'

'Well, we were getting on with the boys, really well. You and Lil were holding hands with-'

'Right. So know I am going to date one of the sons.'

'Sorry, I shouldn't of told you. I always know how much it annoys you.'

'Nah, it's alright. They all seem nice nice anyway. Except Caleb... Too stuck up.' The corners of her pink lips pulled up into a small smile. 'I could choose worse.'

'Suppose you could. I mean, you have.'

'Ros-'

'No what the hell were you thinking.'

'He seemed - kind, nice. Charming.'

'He was a psychopath, who tried to kill, me, you, Holly and Lillie.'

'Yeah but he didn't. I saved you all. It wasn't like I knew he was-'

'I told you- I friggin' told you to stay away from him. He gave all of us a creepy vibe.'

'Not me.' I looked right in her eyes, to see tears forming there. 'He tricked me into loving him, He made me believe in a fairytale life that we could have together and - then he got all up on me about meeting my friends. He got really excited, saying that I would be helpful, we would all be helpful. He made me feel beautiful, even when I -' I stopped her, I knew how much it pained her to talk about him.

'I know.' I pulled her towards me in a hug. 'Right. Home?' She nodded. I hated bringing him up, but it was a bad time in all our lives. Possibly the worst time in all our lives.

Reid

We stood outside the bar when we saw Emily rush out in the rain, and start knocking on a window. After a minute of her stood there - she climbed into the car.

'What do you think is going on?' Tyler said, looking at the 1965 blue volkswagen beetle.

'Girl stuff?' Pogue questioned.

'No. Something else.' Caleb said.

'Quit it Caleb.'

'What! You have to admit, something weird is going on.'

'Ooh, A girl getting a migraine, you keep asking questions, they get annoyed by you keep asking questions...hmmm, yeah somehting weird is going on. Your Paranoid.'

'Yeah, I am. And so we should be. We should have been in September, and I think we should still be wary about new people now. I mean how suspisious is it that two of them approach us and the other two approach you two. Huh? Explain that?'

'They were whipping Aarons ass, I wasn't gonna miss that.' I said, growing angrier and angrier at Calebs words.

'Shall we just let this go?' Pogue said, and I raised my hands in a sign of surrender. We watched quietly as the two remaining girls, Holly and Lillie I think they're called, walked out of Nickys towards the Volkswagon. Holly carried on walking while Lillie stopped and turned, Looking at the four of us, but mainly Caleb as she said:

'You really need to think before you speak. Dumb Ass.' We watched until all four girls were in the car. Holly and Lillie seemed to be asking Rose questions, and comforting her.

'I'll let it go Pogue. For now.' Caleb stated walking back inside. Pogue and Tyler follwoing him. I stayed in outside until I watched the small car pulled out of the gravel parking lot.

Two Days Later.

Holly

'What a total douche! Why the hell was he so... so Judgy.' Lillie stated laying back on her elbows, fully dressed in the Spencer uniform.

'I mean, who does he think he is-' Emily said pulling her black ballet flats onto her feet. She too was wearing the mandatory Spencer Academy uniform.

'He needs to realise that some people want to help, Like us.' I said, looking at Rose, she loves having the power, but sometimes, having to see things, having them come in and cause her physical pain, she hates them Also, she hears exactly what people think of us, thats why she has such a good sense of who to hang out with. She knew something was up when she couldn't read Chase. He blocked her, only witches and warlocks know how to block, it takes years of practice, and you only block if you have something to hide.

'Guys, Stop. As Holly said, Chase has been here. Caleb has the liberty to be paranoid, I mean we were for a bit after the whole incident.' Rose said, officially ending the conversation while slipping the royal blue blazer onto her shoulders, shaking her red waves and picks up her bag seeing everyone is ready. 'Lets go.'

'Right, so whats everyone got first?' Emily said, looking at the timetable we had recieved through the post two weeks ago, a month after we applied.

'French.' Lillie said, grinning.

'Same.' Emily grinned back, 'Hi-5ing' Lillie.

'Physics. Jesus christ save me.' I said, groaning.

'English Lit.' Rose said, a small smile on her face. It wasn't common knowledge that Rose loved school and was incredibly smart, even though she didn't like people knowing it.

'Fun.'

'Depends on the teacher and the class size.'

'Why class size?'

'If the class is small, teachers tend to be jokier and more throuough therefore we get better grades. However if it is large, the teacher tends to not really bother getting to know all the students.'

'Okay. I see your logic.'

'I'm a logical girl.' Rose said laughing in the passenger seat looking back at me while Emily and Lillie laughed from the back seat. I pulled into a parking space and got out of the car. Everyone else following my lead. Rose took in a deep breath.

'Lets just try and blend.' I said.

'You can do that. I don't want to blend with these people, I mean look at them.' Rose said, while Lillie and Emily were eyeing (AN not in an eye fuck kind of way, more of a concerned/disgusted look) a girl who walked past, her bleached blonde hair straightened within an inch of its life, face covered with an inch of thick orange foundation and her lips coated in, what looked like, concealer.

'When did they stop writing what concealer was on the stick? I mean, she can't be stupid enough to think that is actually lipstick.' Lillie said.

'To each their own. Even if their own is stupid.' Rose chuckled at Emily and looked down at her map, twisting it this way and that way until she looked up, bit her lip and took off.

'See you. I don't want to be late.' She may have seemed like the laid back, chilled, rebel and she is. Just not in school or anything to do with her education. Or her friends.

'Only Rose would go for a meander round a school before it started.' Em said staring after her best friend.

'But she said shes just going to find her class room.'

'You know full well she will go around making sure she knows where all her classes are, not just to find this one.' I gave in after that, sighing tilting my head to the side. I spotted the Sons watching Rose walk through the doors and I saw Reid move, as if to go help her, but Caleb held him back whispering something to him. Reid shrugged out of his grasp and leant back on the silver Mustang. Calebs eyes drifted over to us, Emily was glaring at him, whereas me and Lillie were just talking, occasionally looking over. Em looked at us, and then set off towards them.

'Em, Don't.' I warned, she carried on.

'Emily.' Lillie said in a tone which gave the impression she was worried for her, Lillie grabbed my hand and pulled me after her.

Emily

'You think you're special, don't you. So special people would travel from England just to hurt you? Seriously get your head out of your ass. People don't do that. You might think your so special, but your not. You're a senior in high school. No need to get so damn annoyed just because a girl said she had a migraine and left. In fact we all went home with head aches thanks to your stupid paranoid rant. You might be like a god around here, but you're not to us. Your just another boy who thinks he is the shit, when he's not special as soon as he has left school.' I let out a deep breath and walked away, leaving four boys with confused and dazed looks on their faces. I stormed past Lillie and Holly who had just caught up with me, their lips fastened together, fighting away smiles. 'Come on.' I said grabbing their arms and turning them around.

'Em, you should have seen their faces.'

'I did.'

'Not after you turned. Jeez that was hilarious.'

'Hilarious? I wanted to scare the shit of them... well him.'

'You did.'

'I did?'

'You did.' I chuckled. 'I'll see you later, I'm gonna find my class.'

'Just come on Lil.' I said to the still laughing Lillie.
