'Not here.' Holly said, walking to a small dark blue mini cooper. The rest of the girls followed. Reid's eyes followed Rose like it was the most natural thing in the world for him. He let his eyes drop to the floor, and walked to the Hummer, climbing in the passenger side without an argument.

I knew it. I just knew it. They came here to spy on us, came here to finish off what Chase started. I glared at all of them, they have obviously backed out. We boys were in the Hummer, following the girls Mini Cooper. We had sat in silence for the entire journey to what we assumed is where the girls lived.

They parked the car outside a house larger than an average sized house, but smaller than mine and the rest of the sons. They got out the car and motioned for us to follow them, we ended up being in a large room, two couches sat opposite each other with a low coffee table in the middle of them. One of the walls is a bookself spanning the entire wall. The window is behind the couch that Lillie and Holly sat down on, Rose and Emily weren't in the room. I could hear them talking quietly outside. They walked in and Emily sat down on the edge of the couch next to Holly.

'So what did Chase offer you to come here and kill us?' I said, again glaring at them.

'Do not mention his name. And why the hell do you think we came here to help Chase. He made our lives hell.' Rose yelled. The girls all looked at her, shocked. It's not like her to yell I suppose. 'How dare you suggest that? We hate Chase, probably more than you do. He forced his way into our lives, tried to make us trust him. It didn't work. Well, not for all of us.'

'No one hates him more than us. And if you hate him so much why have you come here?'

'Why do you just assume everyone is here to hurt you. To do what Chase did. We didn't even know had come here. We thought we had killed him.' Emily shouted. We all looked at her in shock. Rose lowered herself onto the couch in between Emily and Holly and ran a hand through her red hair.

'We banished his powers, but something went wrong or he had a protection spell, or we banished him from England instead of just his powers. We don't know. But he obvoiusly came here. We knew that as soon as you were so paranoid when we turned up.' Holly said, leaning back against the back of the couch.

'I was right to be paranoid.'

'Not really.' Lillie said, her voice soft. 'We came here to warn you, not to hurt you. We are putting our own lives at risk being here, because Chase can get us here. And lets just say, if he's still alive. We won't be for long.' All our eyes looked over the four girls, thats when I started being less wary of them.

'Warn us about what?' Pogue said, looking at Lillie curiously.

'About your power levels.' Lillie said. 'They are so high, its so easy to detect. If people find out about you, they know what power sources they are looking for. I can control it a little, but not enough to completly cover it. The government are looking, frigging Harry potter fanatics are looking for any signs. But there looking for people with wands and wearing robes for gods sake. They won't find anything. But you need to be more discreet.' Her voice stayed soft and bubbly throughout the entire speech.

'What d'you mean, you can control it?'

'We all have different powers. Passed on from generation to generation.' Rose said walking over to the bookshelf. Pulling down four, thick leather cased books. 'Our four families stuck together throughout the witch trials in England, you know, the ones you ran from. And for gods sake, May I ask, have you stayed in the same town. Thats just begging for people to believe the myths, because you don't leave. Our families all moved around. Mind you they moved together.'

'We are too close to be seperated. At all.' Emily whispered, smiling at her friends for a millisecond.

'You see, each family has a huge history and its own power to record. The four original families, the names you might recognize. Olivier, Gage, Bennett and Harrison.' I nodded at Rose. Knowing those names from the Book of Damnation.

'Plus we are more well hidden because of the name change throughout the generations. Because we are all girls, and we have all changed our names with marriage.' They stopped talking and sat down on the couch opposite ours. We each picked up a book. For ten minutes each of us looked over one of the girls books. I looked down at the book I had, taking in all that they had said, and linking it to the infomation in the book. They don't age when they use because they weren't found and their powers weren't cursed, where ours were.

The book I had was about the Gage bloodline. Their powers were that they could chan ge appearance at will. But theirs did have a curse. Their natural appearance changes when they reach 10 they change. There was a sketch of a green scaled girl with black eyes and hair. I looked over the four girls, wondering which one of them had to change their appearance, which one of them isn't being who they really are.

'Your powerful.' Tyler said, looking at the four girls, breaking the silence.

'Which book have you got?' Holly said, intrigued by their concentration, trying to look at the front of the book. Each book seemed to have a circular symbol on with a pattern inside the circle.

'Olivier.'

'Oh, thats mine.' Holly said, smiling at Tyler.

'Your Georgina Olivier's heir?'

'I suppose you could call us their heir. Yeah.' Holly whispered.

'You can really control the elements?'

'Umm, yeah.'

'Prove it.' He said, his eyes daring her.

'When everyone has finished reading, we will go outside and show you.'

'Who's Amelia Gage heir?' Emily lifted her hand a little before resting on her knee again.

'So you can really...?'

'Yep. Anything I want.'

'How hard is it to control?' Pogue said after a moment of silence

'I think its the same with everything.' Rose said. 'There are good days, there are bad days.'

'Is that when you get migraines? On a bad day?' Tyler said, looking over at Rose thoughtfully.

'Yeah. Its just hard to block it all out sometimes.'

'So, you get your powers when your born.' I asked, they all nodded. 'How hard is it to control then.' They all laughed, except Holly, and looked at Holly.

'Shut up guys. I was only little.'

'You still managed too-' Lillie said giggling before she was cut off by Hollys hand which covered her mouth. Rose had her head rested on Emily's shoulder, they were both shaking with silent laughter, although a chuckle was sometimes heard. All of us looked at them, confused.

'I, um, made my Aunt Meredith's wig blow into the sea.' Holly said, her face flushed red as we all gave into the laughter. 'We were at the seaside, all of our families, we were 4 at the time. And Aunt Meredith was one of those Aunts that cooed all the time. But I hated her. So um, a giant gust of wind came out of nowhere as she said that she had my nose in a creepy voice, and blew her old lady wig into the sea.'

Emily snorted and her and Rose went outside, we all looked out of the window as Rose and Emily laughed and laughed and laughed. Inbetween the laughs they seemed to say something that made the other laugh even harder. Lillie and Holly looked out at them and smiled.

'I'm guessing they're really close.'

'Oh yeah, like twins. They know what the other is thinking so to speak and they have the same sense of humor.'

'Literally in one case rather than figuratively.'

'Wait, can one of them read minds?' Me, Pogue and Tyler said... well we basically said the same thing.

'Amongst other things. Rose.' Reids eyes flickered in worry towards Rose and then back to Holly.

'Oh don't worry, thats what she means when she says blocking. She blocks all thoughts, especially her friends. She is kinda like Sookie from True Blood.' Holly said. Lillie smiled at the True Blood reference.

'Oh.' Reid said, looking less worried.

'Right. Lets show you our powers.' Holly walked outside, We all stood up to follow her. Lillie stood up and walked to the other side of the room. Lillie followed us out, we all looked at her. In Lillie's hand, there was a lamp, a plug trailing on the floor after her. Me and the rest of the boys looked at her... confused.

'You'll see.' She said, her ever present smile growing into a grin. A sly grin.

Holly

'Whos first?' Emily said.

'Go in age order. No arguments that way.' Rose said.

'So you'd think. Reid doesn't agree with going in age order.' Pogue smirked. Reid sent him a playful glare but then looked back at us.

'Right. Thats me then.' I said stepping forward. 'Me and Rose could show you our powers at the same time.' Rose nodded standing exactly opposite me, around 15 feet away. She smiled at me. I sucked in a breath and brought the power out of my mind and let it fill my body. I sent heat to my fingertips, I looked at Rose. She nodded letting me know she was ready. I pulled my hands behind me and then pushed forward, the fire flying towards Rose. I could just see the bluish colour of her forcefield blocking the fire. I lowered my hands, and saw Rose with a see through blue orb surrounding her. She grinned

'Woah. We're not allowed to conjure fire. Or any elements really.' Tyler said, smiling.

'Its easier to control than it is to conjure. But I can also...' I said while making water swirl in the air, round each person. 'And, Wind.' I created a small tornado in the middle of us all. The force of it blowing the our hair back and rustling our clothes around our bodies.

'What about Earth?' I looked over at Caleb, He didn't seem to want to be impressed. I don't like controlling Earth, people get hurt very easily.

'Okay.' I said, kneeling to the floor, and pressing my left hand onto the ground, i raise dit a little and then gave the ground a small pat which reverberated the rest of the garden, making everyone stumble. 'So, thats me. Emily.'

'Right. Okay.' She closed her eyes and flexed her fingers, first a new, tan skin seemed to spread over her usual creamy white skin, her eyes and hair became a dark brown. There stood me.

'Why me Em? Why not Rose, or Lillie?'

'Because last time I turned into Lillie she laughed so much we thought we would have to take her too the hospital and when I did Rose she hit me and made me pinky promise never to do it again and I quote' She quickly turned into Rose. ''Mirrors Suck, and so do you.''

'Emily!' Rose laugh/yelled and ran after Emily, who had now turned back into her usual self.

'Is that your entire gift?'

'Well, I can do this.' She turned invisible, standing where Emily was, there was just a pile of walking clothes. She appeared again and grinned, looking and Lillie and said.

'Right Lillie.'

'What about Rose?'

'Lillie, Lillie, Lillie. Rose can only show one of her gifts. The rest are inside her mind.' Rose gave Lillie a small grin and nodded her forward.

'Here we go.' Lillie looked round the garden before her eyes settled on a large branch which had fallen off in the storm two weeks prior. The branch raised into the air, and back down, and back up. 'Thats one.' She said, holding up one finger. I heard a slight pop as Lillie disappered and reappeared across the garden. 'Thats two and now for the lamp.' She pressed her left palm onto the plug and closed her eyes. The lamp turned on.

'Woah.' All the boys said.

'Rose, can you really read minds?' Reid said, looking at Rose, a strange look on his face.

'Yeah, and see the future. Thats when I get migraines, the infomation is too much, it takes a lot to focus on one sight I suppose you could call it.'

'Could you...?'

'It took me a long time to block out the hum of the voices, and listening to yours will just bring it all back. Plus its an invasion of privacy, theres obviously a reason behind you only thinking it, whether you think it would hurt someone, or if your just being bitchy.'

'Also, she got in way too many fights when she heard what Alex and his mates were thinking about Holly.' Rose looked down as Emily said this, and I just gave a tight lipped smile.

'It's over now. Right so... we aren't gonna make you show us your powers, because you'll age. We won't.'

'You want to hang out here for a bit?' Lillie said, for once seeming to struggle to be upbeat. 'We can watch some movies...'

'Sure.' Pogue said, smiling at Lillie.

'Lets GO!' Lillie and Pogue made there way back to the house. Emily walked away after a while of glaring at Caleb who had been staring accusingly for a while.

'Hey, thought you said we weren't worth coming to America for?'

'We didn't come here for you.' Emily shouted. 'We came here to stop us from being exposed by you and your stupid addiction to the power.' And with that, she turned around, and carried walking to the house.

'Well Done Caleb.' Tyler said, looking at Caleb and walking towards the house. Caleb reluctantly followed, I walked after them, leaving Rose and Reid just stood there.

Reid

'Do you wanna go insi-'

'You lied to me.' I said, and Rose's eyes went wide.

'What? I didn't lie, we had to keep it a secret, just like you have to. And don't deny it, if I hadn't already known about you, I still wouldn't.'

'I know, but I didn't force my way into your life.'

'I didn't approach you. I didn't walk over to you in the lunch queue. That was all you.' And with that, she walked away.

'Why did you do it though?' I shouted after her.

'I want to help. You don't know how many witches and warlocks have been worried about you guys. We heard some people were going to come here, and not just warn you, but kill you. Alright. We didn't want anyone to die, Reid. I want to save the world from what would happen if anyone found out about us. I want to stop the whole world finding out about us. Some people would... god knows what some people would do. But they wouldn't be pretty.'

I let her walk away. I let her walk away without saying anything. Turns out, I haven't changed that much around her.
