Sorry it's been a long time but I have been on holiday! So I promise to update a couple of chapters in the next few days!

Chapter 7
"Wait!" Becker yelled as Stephen stormed through the armoury "what the hell is wrong with you?"
"Why does it matter to you?" Stephen snarled in reply
"Because you are my best mate and I have never seen you this angry" Becker answered calmly,
"It's that stupid geek, how could she choose him over me! One day we are engaged and she hates him, the next she is engaged to him and willing to do anything to protect him" Stephen yelled
"I guess she chose him then?"
"Yeah, but now I feel awful as I went to punch Connor and she jumped in the way and I didn't even check if she was ok so she probably thinks I am a jerk!"
"Shut up, it will take her a few days to see straight" Becker reassured Stephen
"I am not so sure" Stephen mumbled
"So when can we tell people?" Matt asked
"When your better, I promise and then everyone won't think you have gone mad" Emily replied, whilst cleaning up Matt's bandages.
"Ok," Matt smiled "how long will that be?"
"Tomorrow you can go home but you won't be back in for another week" Emily informed him
"You will come and look after me at home, nurse Ruth" Matt smiled
"Of course, Mr Anderson" Emily giggled before giving Matt a kiss on the cheek.
"I wonder what happened in the anomaly." Jess wondered
"What are you mumbling about now Miss Parker?" Lester asked as he did his routine Parker check up, he had been doing them since the future bug incident,
"Oh, I was just wondering why everyone is acting strange, I mean, I have never seen Abby in love with Connor, she used to hate him. Connor has suddenly grown up and Matt didn't know Emily was dead and began grieving, it has been a year since she died" Jess explained "Well, I guess all brilliant people are a little bit unusual"
"I am brilliant, Miss Parker and I am not the least bit unusual" Lester snarled
"Oh, I could disagree with that Lester" Jess began with a giggle
"If you dare go on, you will be hearing from my lawyers, Miss Parker. Now back to work" Lester interrupted.
"Yes, of course" Jess just rolled her eyes at his remark.
