A/N This oneshot was written for a FanFiction challenge with my BFF burninghappiness. Story: Percy Jackson and the Olympians
Percy dived into the pool for a final time. When he surfaced, he saw his girlfriend, Annabeth, smiling down at him. "Perfect!" She chimed. Percy smiled. "Aren't they always?" He pulled Annabeth in for a kiss. She pulled away moments late. "Sorry, Percy, but I have to go." Percy frowned slightly. "Go where? I thought we were in the middle of something here." He watched his girlfriends smile falter slightly. "I'm applying for that architecture job I told you about. I have another meeting today." Her grey eyes sparkled with excitement. Percy sighed with extra enthusiasm. "Fine." He said, sarcastically. "When will the meetings stop?" He sunk a little in the water. "Last time you went, you couldn't get home to make our date." Percy's small smile faded. "We do have a dinner date tonight, right?" Annabeth grinned. "Of course."
Percy grabbed her hand and squeezed it tightly. "Good." Percy let Annabeth pull him out of the water. He wrapped a soft, blue towel around his waist, leaving his chest bare."Then you wouldn't mind if I came with you?" Percy's smile was childish and playful. "That's not such a good—" Percy wrapped his arms around her and kissed her deeply and passionately. Many minutes later he pulled away, out of breath. "We're staying together." He told her. "You're not getting away from me. Never again." Annabeth smiled and nodded slightly. "As long as we're together."
