I must stop telling 1st years about the time the Hogwarts Christmas tree ate a student
"I have to stay here this Christmas," James overheard Dakota telling his sister. A huge grin appeared on his face as he got a prank idea. He went over to Lily and Dakota with a slum expression on his face.
"Did you just say you have to stay here this year?" James asked looking horrified.
The eleven-year-old just looked at James with a confused expression. "Yeah, why?"
"It's just the Hogwarts Christmas tree," James replied with fake sympathy, "It's bewitched to feast on students."
The look on the eleven-year-old's face was worth the two weeks worth of detentions he got.
