Hi! I know that this chapter is short (Eww! I don't like it when my work is this short!)but it's still good. I thought of some ideas for some long fanfictions that I will probably use. Anyway, on July 16, I will be posting the first chapter of a new fanfiction in honor of my one month anniversary of posting stuff (I started on June 16th with the first and second chapters of Smoke Will Burn.) on the NERDS fandom. Also, I will be posting the first chapter of a new fanfiction every major holiday that I celebrate (4th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Black Friday! (jk) Christmas, New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day, Saint Patrick's day, and Easter)Finally, I am now accepting beta requests. Enjoy!

As Brett was getting stuff out of his locker, he noticed something strange. As he watched Jackson run past him, Brett noticed that he skipped when he ran. He was shocked. How come he had just noticed this now? And that's when it hit him. He enjoyed the feeling of unlocking a secret. Why not unlock more secrets? Brett headed towards his next class. He would have to start after school.

Before Brett left for school, he made sure that he had everything that he would need. "Stopwatch? Check. Journal? Check. Binoculars? Check." Brett said to himself as he checked the items off of the list in his journal. It's a good thing that he didn't need much to spy on someone. He opened the door, flung his backpack over his shoulder, and headed toward Nathan Hale, eager to get answers.
