Chapter 13: The Truth
Morning had arisen and the sun was shining to the beautiful day. At the Iron Fortress, Sonic and the Bride of the Conquering Storm were asleep silently and peacefully after spending their wonderful time with each other at their anniversary and also made love to each other passionately.
Moments later, Sonic the first one waking up from his sleep. He wipes the sleep out of his eyes, yawning and stretching his arms out. Sonic look over to his beloved girlfriend who is still asleep silent and peacefully snuggled up with Sonic. This made Sonic smiled and had thoughts of course. Sonic made his decision since yesterday before with his date with his girlfriend. Today is the day that he comes clean and why he has been avoiding his friends and family lately all this time.
"Today is the day that I come clean and tell them the truth" Sonic thought
Sonic found the right words that he is going to say to his friends and family about his relationship with the bride of the Conquering Storm. The bride soon begins to groan softly waking up from her sleep and sees Sonic who is already up.
"Morning beloved" Storm greeted
"Morning to you too" Sonic responded
"What's the matter beloved?"
"Storm, today I'm finally going to come clean and tell my friends and family. Will you come with me on this?"
"(Kisses Sonic on the cheek) Of course and I'm proud of you. Will get through this together Sonic, I love you"
"(Kisses Storm on the lips) Of course Sonic, I accept"
"Thank you"
An hour later…
The Freedom Fighters and the Chaotix all hang out together at the Freedom HQ. They weren't aware when Sonic who made his appearance and everyone soon notices it.
"Sonic, there you are" Sally called
"Sugah-hog where have you been all this time" Bunnie asked
"Yeah why have you been avoiding us all of sudden" Tails asked
"Well everyone the reason that I have not see you guys, hang out or return any of your calls is because um…" Sonic stuttered
"What is it?" Espio asked
"The reason to that is that I have been seeing someone recently"
"Wait you have a girlfriend?" Vector asked
"Of course Vector, I have a girlfriend and we've been together for six months now"
"Six months, wow you must've really love this girl haven't you"
"Of course"
"So who is this girl that you've been seeing lately Sonic?" Amy asked
"Yeah who is this girl that you been seeing? Is it Mina Mongoose?" Vector asked
"No"
"Is it Blaze?" Amy asked
"No it's not her either"
"Wait… it's Rouge the Bat isn't it?" Knuckles asked
"No it's not her either"
"Then who is it?" Everyone asked in curiosity
"I'll show you"
Sonic pointed at something to get their attention. They turned around and sees someone coming out of the shadows. When the suspect appeared out of the shadows, it was known other but the Bride of the Conquering Storm herself making her appearance causing everyone in total surprise and absolute shock in the room.
