SOOOOOOOOOOO sorry I have not updated this one. I know how much you guys like it and I feel bad about that. I've never really been a romance fan so this is an interesting experience and don't be surprised if 'm not a regular updater like with my other stuff. So please forgive me for that, and now the story! Don't forget to review! XD

Eclipse scrambled off him and looked at him. "I-is it really you?"

Scourge gulped. "Yeah, is it really you Velvet?"

Eclipse, no Velvet, snorted. "No one's called me that in seasons. Ever since my dad took me off to travel with him, no one's called me that. Ever."

Scourge cocked his head. "Why would you change your name?"

"Why did you change yours?"

"I asked you first."

Velvet sighed and sat down. "Fine. My dad made me change my name to Eclipse when we left my mom."

Scourge cocked his head. "I never saw anything wrong with your name. 'Tiny' is a lot worse than 'Velvet.'

"Tell that to my dad," Velvet spat then looked back at Scourge. "Your turn."

It was Scourge's turn to snort. "Did you really think a cat named 'Tiny' would make it in Twolegplace?"

Velvet shrugged. "Guess not. It'd be pretty hard to taken seriously with a name like that." She looked out at the street.

They sat in silence for a few moments then Scourge walked over and sat down next to Velvet. "You know, it feels good to have someone I've known since kithood in Bloodclan with me, you know."

"Yeah," Velvet agreed, not taking her eyes off the street. "At least not everyone is a total stranger."

They stood there for a few moments in silence.

Then Velvet wrapped her head around his neck so that it rested on his back. "I really did miss you."

Scourge felt himself go red under his pelt. Then he rested his head on her back. "Me too."

After a few seconds he pulled back, finally getting a hold on himself. "Well, erm. Your fighting skills are very good. Might even match mine."

"Thanks," Velvet said.

"Um, I guess we better head back huh?" Scourge looked at the sky. It was just past sun-high.

"Yeah, I guess."

They started to head back to Bloodclan but they were walking slower than before. Suddenly Scourge got an idea.

"Hey Velvet?"

Velvet looked at him. "Yeah?"

"Um, if you want I can give you a tour of Bloodclan. I-I mean, only if you want to." Scourge wanted to claw himself so bad.

Velvet leaned over and gave him a little lick on the cheek. "Sure, let's go."

Scourge felt himself burning under his pelt then shook himself out of it and followed Velvet down the street.

He first took her to Dog Alley. "Careful," Scourge said. "You don't want to be too close. This is where most dogs are seen and we all try to be careful around it."

Velvet nodded. "How close have you gotten to it?"

"Oh I've been inside tons of times, dogs don't scare me anymore. What about you?"

"Me either, dogs are nothing but a pest that we could all do without." She lashed her tail in annoyance

Scourge purred in amusement. She looked so cute when she was annoyed. Wait, cute? Velvet wasn't cute, he couldn't think of her like that. She was his friend.

"Scourge?"

Scourge snapped out of his thoughts and looked at Velvet. "Yeah?"

"I said, 'where now?' You okay?"

"Uh, yeah. Just thinking." Scourge began to hurry away. "Now come on, the Junkyard is next."

They arrived at the Junkyard and jumped up all the different things piled together till they were perched in the inside of an old monster. "See, this place is really big even though it doesn't look like it from the entrance." Scourge said, looking over the Junkyard. "Rats like to hang out here so it's a good place to hunt and there is a ton of stuff to go through. I've done that a few times when I was bored and had nothing to do."

Velvet looked out to. "Wow, I never knew Twolegs had so much junk they don't want."

Scourge snorted. "You should see it in between clean up days."

Velvet purred.

"Now come on, there's still more to see." Scourge jumped down from his perch and she followed.

They continued through Twolegplace, avoiding the Twoleg nests in an unspoken agreement not to go near there. Soon the tour was over and they were heading back to the Bloodclan camp.

They paused at the corner to the camp and faced each other.

"I had fun tonight," Velvet said to Scourge, her eyes bright.

"Me too." Scourge agreed, actually meaning it.

"We should do this again soon, nice to get away from everything."

"Yeah, we should."

Velvet purred then leaned over and buried her muzzle in his neck fur. "Good night Scourge," she murmured.

Scourge laid his head over her neck. "Good night Velvet," he said quietly back.

"Scourge?"

"Yeah?"

"Can you please only call me that when it's just us? My dad will get mad otherwise."

"Sure."

"Thanks."

Velvet pulled away and looked at him one more time before heading into the Bloodclan camp.

Scourge sat there for a bit longer, trying to understand exactly what happened today. He finally just shook his head and walked into the Bloodclan camp.
