It's been awhile fellow fanfictioners... This chapter is basically all Cas and Dean.. And I'm scared.
Disclaimer: I do not own Sherlock, Supernatural, or Doctor or their characters
Dean was gone longer than expected. Since he had a phobia of flying, he refused to take the TARDIS anywhere, so he had to walk. He returned with a freshly baked apple pie, some candles, and more beer. He knocked before entering the room and gently pushed the door open. "Cas?" he called out to the seemingly empty room. "I'm back birthday boy. I brought pie!" He smiled, raising the bag into the air, holding a case of beer in the other.
Cas slowly exited the restroom area and forced a smile at Deans presence. "I already told you, I don't have a birthday." He frowned, taking a seat on the nearby sofa. Dean just shook his head and placed the pie on the table and patted Castiel's back. "What do I do now?"'
Dean frowned and pulled a candle out of a sealed package. With little to no force, he plunged it into the pie. "Make a wish." Dean commanded.
"That just seems silly." Castiel retorted.
"Just make a damn wish." Dean tried again as he flipped open his lighter and brought a flame upon the colored wax. He waited a moment and looked up at Castiel. "Well?"
"Well what Dean?" Castiel shook his head in confusion. "Isn't it customary for you to sing in my honor?"
"Damnit Cas, fine. Whatever. Here we go.." He took a deep breath and closed his eyes for a moment.
Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday dear Castiel an angel of the Lord
Happy Birthday to you.
"There." Dean coughed, trying to clear his throat. Castiel smiled and did as he as told blowing the flame right off the candle.
"Now What?" Castiel questioned with his head cocked to the side.
"Damnit Cas..." Dean jumped up from the couch and took a few steps away from him.
"I don't understand what I did wrong..." Castiel stood up, watching him carefully.
Dean began to sweat nervously and took a few steps closer to Cas.
"Dean... Do you know what I wished for?" His head stayed low and he bit his lip impatiently. Nervous he would screw this up.
"What's that Cas?" His puppydog eyes looked up at him and waited. But instead of a response, Castiel brushed his lips against his. They stood in silence for a moment and then Dean slowly grabbed the back of Castiel's neck and pressed his lips to his. Castiel thought of the pizza man, and figured he'd know what to do. He pushed Dean against the wall, not releasing the sweet kiss. Dean grasped on to his hair and deepened the kiss. Nothing could ruin this moment. The two men bodies moved as one as Castiel carefully bit Deans lower lip. The sexual tension in the air was rising, but it didn't seem to phase them. 'Once more' Dean thought as he quickly pressed his lips to Cas's. A kiss they would both savor only for a moment to be interrupted.
Knock knock.
"Dean..." Sam ruined the moment.
Dean just looked down at Castiel and whispered in his ear, "Happy Birthday..." He slowly walked towards the door, disappearing into the hallway with his brother. Only, leaving Castiel wanting more.
"Yeah," Castiel mumbled to himself, sliding down the wall to the floor with a slight smile on his face. "Happy Birthday to me.."
