A/N: Alrighty. Been awhile, no? Heh… I think I'm a little out of practice. But here goes… And I know I promised I'd write exactly 355 days ago, but I just had to make this a yearly thing. (My brain would die otherwise.)

Disclaimer: I do not own PJO or KC. (Does anyone else notice how much it looks like KFC?)

Nico jogged away from the "not-so-obviously" freaking out Percy. He sighed. Unlike what he told Percy, he had absolutely no idea what he was going to do. He could make chocolates, he supposed. He shook his head, wracking his brain for more ideas, but when he came up with nothing, he found himself in front of a candy shop. He sighed.

"Here goes nothing…"

He walked into the store, and managed to get a pack of plain white, milk, and dark chocolates with (surprisingly) no trouble. He walked outside, and, after checking for mortals, shadow travelled to his apartment.

He immediately set to work, molding the chocolate into edible drops, and placing them into the freezer. He sighed, looking at the clock. 5:00 PM. He sighed again, making a mental schedule. (A/N: He's just having a little sigh-fest over here.)

5:30 – Take out chocolates and package.

6:00 – Deliver chocolates.

6:05 – Maybe rush back home.

6:30 – Absolutely no clue.

He took out a book, read half of it, and checked the clock. Only 5:10. He sighed, and took out a horror movie to watch. (A/N: It is possible to read half a book in ten minutes, you know. I know many other people (including me) who have finished novels in 30 minutes. (Not to be offensive to people who can't, it was just to disprove any flames telling me that it would be impossible to read a half a book in ten minutes))

After watching a bit of the first part of the movie, he muttered to himself about the movie.

"It looks… sad." He muttered, looking at the ghost. (The first person to get that reference gets a chocolate!)

Just then, the timer went "ding!", and he went over to the fridge to take out the hardened sweets. He took out a medium-sized plastic container and put the chocolates inside, then wrapping it and putting a little note on it.

He checked his watch. 5:45.

"Best get to it, then," he muttered.

He shadow traveled to an area in Brooklyn, and looked for the nearest graveyard. He found one in the span of five minutes, and went inside. Then he waited. And waited. Running a hand through his hair, he checked the time again. 5:55.

He felt a finger tap his shoulder. He turned his head, to see a bloody, rotting face stare directly into his eyes. He admit it. He screamed. Like a little girl. He jumped back, and sighed. (A/N: Again…) He glared at the sky.

"Really?! Are you kidding me?! Marde!" (A/N: Excuse my French. Really. It is French. And I suggest you don't translate that. (But according to human nature, you will have a sudden urge to do it just because I told you not to, even if you weren't thinking of it before I told you))

Somewhere in a house covered with snow, a young girl threw a small knife at the wall. Taking it out, she inspected the crack and chuckled nervously.

"Well, maybe that was a tad bit overdoing it."

She sat down at the computer and typed in lines, but not willing to delete the previous ones.

The zombie suddenly crumbled to dust, and behind it, a certain death god could be seen.

"Anubis!"

Said god smiled. "Hello. Nice of you to drop by."

"Right. Um… are you going to see Sadie?"

"Yes, I am, care to join?"

"No, it's fine." Nico replied, shaking his head. "By the way, here." He added, shoving the container at him, and running away.

Anubis looked at his retreating figure. "How odd..." he muttered.

Nico, now back at his apartment, sighed in relief. That was over. He smiled sadly. Someday, he would confess his feelings, but for the moment, he was content with little notes and hints. That was enough for him.

A/N: Well, that turned angsty. Whoops… ^^; Anyways, I have, a couple of months after publishing the previous chapter, become obsessed with yaoi. So, therefore, I have also become an Anubico fan. But, I still love Sadico, so… this chapter can be both, depending on the way you look at it. On one hand, Nico might have given the package to Anubis to give to Sadie, but on the other, he might just have been giving it to Anubis. So… See ya!
