The sun was starting to rise as Kurt drove along a dual carriageway, he didn't really know where they were going. Didn't care, as long as Blaine was safe he would drive to the end of the world.

Kurt glanced to the side for a second looking at Blaine sleeping, so peaceful. It had taken him a while to convince him to go to sleep. Probably the fear of having to wake up, not knowing what would happen, but he eventually had fallen asleep leaving Kurt to think in the silence.

Kurt was tired to, haven been woken so suddenly, but he stayed awake and he would continue to until Blaine was ready to take over.

...

John pulled over in to a layby and got out of the car he had stolen. The sky was starting to get lighter and the licence plate on the back of the car more visible. If the person had already reported the car missing then he would be caught soon if he didn't change it.

He looked at all the other parked cars in the layby; he looked around judging the people who the cars belong to on if they were asleep or not paying attention. He was going to take someone else's licence plate, it wouldn't get him much further but it would give him a little longer and there didn't seem to be many police on the road anyway. It just meant that he would have to steal another car at some point. He had found a screw driver in the front compartment of the car earlier which was convenient and had given him this idea in the first place.

He chose a car and walked up behind it making sure that no one was looking before taking off the back plate and switching the licence plate with his own, the front one was going to be the tricky one, John thought as he crawled round to the front of the car.

He started taking it off as slow and as quiet as possible and switched it with his front plate; he was just finish screwing it in when he heard footsteps behind him.

"What are you doing to my car," they guy didn't sound very happy. John turned to face him with a small smile on his face, shoving the man's licence plate down the back of his trousers so he couldn't see. "Um, sorry I saw that your licence plate was a little loose so I tightened it up for you," he said with a kind and soft voice.

"Oh, thanks I guess," the guy said confused but he seemed to buy it. John stood up making sure that the man couldn't see behind him by turning as he went past.

The man got in the car and left without any suspicion, Johns smile widened and he walked back to his car tightening the licence plate to the front of the vehicle before getting back in to his car.

John's phone started to buzz as he sat down, he pulled it out of his pocket holding it to his ear.

"Hello?" He spoke into the phone. "Hi John, it's Rick we found the car and are tracking him now, is there any way you can get a car with a GPS or something?" Rick said obviously intimidated just by John's voice.

"Yeah I already have one, what do I do?" John's said quickly his eyes flicking to the GPS system that was in the car. "Ok," Rick said just as quickly before telling the codes and numbers that John had to type in to the GPS system.

The GPS beeped and the Kurt and Blaine's moving car popped up on the radar, they were quite far ahead now but at least he knew where they were. "We also were able to track Blaine's mobile, just in case they change cars."

"Good idea," John said as Rick started to give him the code to track Blaine's phone. "But that's it now I'm done, now I'm out" Risk said his voice trembling slightly.

"Fine, thanks Rick," John grumbled hanging up the phone before Rick could say anything and putting it back in his pocket again. He started the car and pulled out of the layby with a smile plastered on his face, there was no way that they could get away now.

...

Blaine heard the rush of cars start to form in his ears getting louder and louder as he started to wake. He started to stir, eventually getting himself to sit up he looked over to who Kurt still driving.

"Kurt? You look exhausted. Why didn't you pull over and get some sleep?" he said leaning over and brushing his hand against Kurt's arm. "Wanted to get you as far away from him as I possibly could," Kurt looked over with a tired smile.

Blaine smiled back and looked to the road. "Pull over in that layby there and let me drive for a while babe," he said pointing out a parking sign to the left. "I'm not going to argue," Kurt giggled and pulled in to the layby. Once they had stopped Kurt got out of the car and ran around the car to the other side his hair blowing slowly in the breeze, while Blaine shuffled in to the driver's seat.

Blaine watched Kurt get settled in to his seat, he kept watching until Kurt turned to look at him noticing that he was staring.

"I love you Kurt," Blaine said still not looking away his brown eyes sparkling, getting lost in Kurt's ocean blues.

"I love you too" Kurt smiled as Blaine leaned in giving him a soft tender kiss.

They both pulled back, holding their gaze in to each other's eyes just a little longer before Blaine started the engine.

As he pulled out of the layby Kurt settled down and slowly drifted to sleep.

And then they were on the road again, the sun in the sky, in each other's company. Not knowing that John was hot on their trail.
