They had been meeting up frequently for about a week, and both of them were thrilled by it. Spencer had never been so on edge, and being sexually active with somebody like him really made her feel like she was on some crazy roller coaster ride. And Toby, he had never had such a good sexual experience before. He never thought a good girl could please him like that.

"Hey," he greeted quietly, fixing his hair and stepping up to her when she wasn't around her friends. "Wanna meet up in the janitor's closet next period?"

She pressed her hand to his mouth and hastily whispered, "Shh! Do you want somebody to hear you? And of course I wanna meet up with you, but I can't, sorry. Not during class."

"Oh, I see what's going on here," he said with a smirk, tapping her nose gently. "You're too much of a goody-good to cut class, huh? That's totally what it is!"

"I'm not afraid to say it, Cavanaugh," she said, rolling her eyes. "That's not the big secret I'm keeping. You and I are the secret." She sighed and continued, "College is really important to me, okay? If it doesn't affect my education, I'd be happy to meet up with you."

"Alright, Hastings, I got it, you don't want to cut class," he said, frowning. "But having sex in the janitor's closet is on my sexual bucket list! I thought we were gonna fulfill e like... all of it."

"Almost everything," she said, shrugging. "Toby, this closet thing is not going to happen! I can't fall behind and lose points for cutting class. Ditching isn't my thing. I'd say I'm sorry, but I'm not. Ask another girl to hook up with you in the closet, I'm sure there are plenty who would want to."

"You flatter me, Hastings," he said, laughing with a pearly white grin. "But, you're the only one I want to do this with. Can you meet up with me during lunch in the closet or what?"

"I could," she started. "...but, my friends would ask, and I can't tell them—"

"So, we can't even tell our friends about this thing?" Toby asked.

"Hell no!" she nearly cried. "I can't trust anyone, and neither can you. If one person finds out, they may tell another person, and then they may tell another person, and it'll spread like an STD, Cavanaugh, and I can't let that happen! Everyone will forever label me as a slut. Oh, but you'll get away with it, since you're a guy."

"Everyone would probably cheer me on for tapping that," he said proudly.

"You're an idiot," she said, rolling her eyes, and starting to walk away.

"Wait, wait, wait, I'm kidding!" he said, and grabbed her arm. "Spencer, I'm not going to let that happen. I won't tell anyone. This can be our secret. Just tell your friends a teacher wants to do some make up work with you during lunch, and meet me in the janitor's closer by Mr. Fitz's classroom."

He didn't even give her a chance to answer. He grinned at her and walked away. He was going to find out if she was taking him up at lunch. He thought that an exit like that would spark her interest, and he was right. Spencer showed up to the janitor's closet during lunch.

"Damn, score for Cavanaugh!" he exclaimed, flexing his muscles. "I swear, that's the fastest it's ever taken me to get you to reach your completion. Bet all your past boyfriends never made you finish off like that, huh?"

As annoying as it was, he was right. Spencer had sex with her boyfriends in the past, but it was never like this. Toby made it a good sexual experience! Her past boyfriends were just not good. She found herself faking her orgasm every single time. But with Toby, it was rarely like that. Sometimes he couldn't get her to finish off, but he was really a genius at what he was doing. He knew where to hit her at exactly the right time, and it made for the best experience ever.

"Shut up," she quietly said, rolling her eyes and lazily reaching over for her bra. "Fuck, this place is so cramped, it's annoying."

He nodded his head, but soon leaned forward so he was on top of her again, and then started kissing down her neck. He sucked gently, eliciting moans from her mouth. She loved that feeling, but had to push him off. She absentmindedly kissed back when he started kissing her lips. She was really checking her phone, as great as he was.

"Toby, we don't have time for a second round!" she snapped. "We need to get dressed and sneak out of here. There's ten minutes until the bell, and if we are going to get out of here without anybody seeing us, we need to start now."

"All we need is five—" he started, but she rolled her eyes and pushed him off.

"No, seriously," she said, shaking her head. "If we get caught, that's going to be the end of my life."

"Is sleeping with me really that embarrassing?" he asked, sighing.

"No, it's just complicated, okay?" she snapped. "I can't deal with people calling me a slut and a whore. It wouldn't matter if you were someone like Dylan O' Brien, because they'd still call me a whore for having any sex at all. That's just the way things are in high school for girls."

"Fine, but at least I got closet sex off of my bucket list," he said, grinning and pulling his shirt over his head. "You want me to come over after school today?"

"Sure," she responded with a sincere smile. "I guess I'll see you then."

He didn't know what to do! Was he supposed to treat her like his girlfriend? He decided to just peck her cheek before leaving, which still made it awkward, but whatever. He snuck out of the closet first, and a few minutes later, she headed out as well.

After school, Spencer quickly talked to Toby. He was going to meet her at her house in about an hour for another session. They didn't know if they were supposed to act like friends in public because Spencer was so scared that they would get busted. Toby didn't understand why she was so worried about other girls calling her stupid names like slut and whore.

"I'll see you then," she quietly said, half-smiling. Her hand grazed against his briefly. "You better not be late today, Cavanaugh."

"For you, I won't be," he said, smiling. "Can I hug you, or is that too romantic for your taste?" She was going to tell him it was too romantic, but he didn't give her a chance to respond. He leaned forward and hugged her tightly. She didn't object it—she just hugged back, breathing in the sweet scent of his manly cologne. It smelled like surfing at the beach, she couldn't quite explain it. Tropical, maybe?

He grinned at her one last time before walking away. However, to Spencer's misfortune, the whole episode was not missed by Hanna Marin and Aria Montgomery, two of her three closest friends. The two girls giggled as they walked up to her.

"Hey, Spence," Hanna said, blinking her eyes at her. "So, are you good friends with Toby Cavanaugh now or what?"

"K-kind of, not really," she stammered, biting her lip. "It doesn't matter anyways, Hanna! Why do you even care or ask?"

"She's just wondering, calm down," Aria said, laughing quietly. "Emily, her, and me have all seen you hanging out with him a lot lately. What's with the sudden new friendship?"

"Nothing, we just talk about French homework sometimes," she lied. "Look, it's stupid and doesn't even matter. Hey, speaking of Emily... isn't her swim meet today?"

"Yeah!" Hanna exclaimed. "I can't wait to see her, and support the Rosewood Sharks, of course. Those damn Red Devils are gonna be crushed by Emily's awesome record times. She finally gets to be anchor—what she's always wanted. Ever since she starts dating Paige, she gets that. Their lovey-dovey-ness lets them communicate, so they agreed to take turns being anchor in meets."

"Aw, good for Emily!" Aria exclaimed. "Hey Spence, you're going to her meet, right? You wouldn't wanna be an un spirited Rosewood Shark."

"Actually, I can't go," she said, staring at the floor. "You know I love Emily, and I love supporting her, but this is just a meet I can't make it to! I have plans tonight. Studying plans. I always go to her meets. Can't I have a pass for once to miss it? You guys have both missed her meets for other priorities, too, so why don't we all just give Spencer a break, huh?"

"Okay, why so jumpy and nervous?" Hanna asked, raising her eyebrows. "You could have just said you couldn't make it to the meet, but you didn't, so there's obviously something on your mind."

"You're so nosy!" Spencer yelled, starting to turn away. "I have stuff to take care of, and you're not a part of that stuff, so would you just back off?"

"Spencer, come on, stop this," Aria said, grabbing her arm. "Hanna wasn't trying to be nosy, she was trying to be a good friend. Is something wrong?"

"No, and I'm sorry for flipping out on you, Han," she said, sighing. "I really have to go, though, but this was nothing. I'll see you guys tomorrow." She gave them a wave before walking home.

"You know she's hiding something, right?" Aria asked.

"Hell yeah I do, I'm not dumb," Hanna responded with a smirk.
