Here's the chappy!


Mystery Location


In the center of a planet, two men and two women were working on a rather large device. His planets core had solidified when his people had experimented with a device that simulated earthquakes, now this machine was the only thing that kept the mantel of their planet molten and the only thing kept up the magnetic fields their planet generated. Danny sighed as he remembered what happened 300 years ago…

"Tucker, remember to clean the Energon Crystals power regulators, we don't want a repeat of last time…" Danny said

"What are you- oh you mean that? Come on! That wasn't my fault!" whined.

Danny chuckled and shook his head. "Yah, just make sure we don't wind up 65 000 years back in time again. Those Reapers were really annoying, and don't get me started on those dweebish Prothean's! Talk about a superiority complex!"

"I remember that time you threw that guy into the wall, what was his name again?"

"Jarvik"

"Yah, he was totally pissed after that! He even tried to use biotics on you, but then you went all angelic and kicked his ass." Tucker sighed with a smile on his face. "I still can't believe it took us 140 years to get this core regulator to work again! I mean, why did we have to colonize Venus?"

"At least the planet only disappeared from our reality for 14 days." Valarie chimed in.

"Not to mention what the consequences could have been if you had given the Prothean's more information of the future." Jazz said.

"Yah, remember Dash's words to that Prothean Commander? 'I'll make your extinction come a 100 years earlier!' I still wonder what he did to make him so angry." Danny gave a pointed look at Jazz

"He flirted with me." Jazz said.

"Euww, gross…"

They laughed at the image of Jazz kissing a Prothean. After that little discussion they went back to work, maintenance was such a hassle to do, but they were the only people qualified to do it. Jazz was about to ask Danny something when her Cell phone rang.

"You get reception down here?" Danny asked with a raised eyebrow.

Jazz Shrugged and answered the phone. A loud voice on the other side talked and everybody knew who was calling Jasmine. Her eldest son, Jack Baxter, loud-mouth didn't even describe what he was…

"Jack, I'm doing maintenance on the VAC. I'll come over later and see what's up. Okay?"

"SURE MOM!" he shouted and the line went dead.

"You sure you didn't reincarnate dad?" asked Danny

"YES! Jack's worse than dad!"


Cheron Relay


Commander Dash Baxter walked in his ship, making sure everything was in order for their journey. The Dark Phantom SSV was a war ship. The incorporated a different system from all the normal ships that ran on the "Gates" to manage their energy consumption. This ship had a device Dash had designed himself called The HECEM or High Energy Crystal Modulator. The device had the newest Energon crystal made available, the previous one only being able to draw 1000 GW per cm, this one had that limit removed in all ways. The crystal that powered the 700m long and 350 in width, and the entire ship was powered by a crystal 10cm long and 4cm wide. How is that possible? The crystal was forged in the Center of Energuke* (The energy dimension had been renamed at the board meeting.) and had a higher concentration of the energy that was freely available in the dimension.

The ship was shaped like a spear or arrow tip, no exits or entrances. The crew were all Nephilim or Phantoms** who were able to phase in and out of the ship without difficulty. Being just the two races also made the crew nearly impossible to kill. The Ship was called the Dark Phantom for a reason, the ship was built from ghostly metal, a metal that was resistant to all energy except ecto-energy. However the shield that surrounded it was resistant to ecto-energy, thus there was no need to panic if the enemies have obtained ecto-weaponry.

"Commander, everything is ready. Elemental-, physical-, spiritual- and anti-matter weapons are operational, the shields are active as well as the warp drives. Energy supply is at 1000% and building rapidly."

"Good, plot a stealth jump into Citadel space just to give them a scare, then warp from there to the Quarrain Migrant fleet."

"On it Commander."

A computer generated voice then spoke. Initiating jump-drive in T-minus 10… 9… 8… 7… 6… 5… 4… 3… 2… 1… Jump Drive active. The ship suddenly lurched forward into what is known as the slipstream, the space that is neither space, nor is it not space. The speed at which they travel made the space around them nothing but a vast ocean of energy.


Citadel


On one of the Asari space ships, the crew suddenly got an abnormally large spike in energy. It wasn't normal energy, it was a spike in tachyon readings, which meant that something was either breaching the speed of light and traveling here or a star had went supernova. The Latter was not possible since it would have had to happen very close by, and the former was impossible*. However when a ship as large as a small dreadnaught appeared in a brilliant flash of light, all theories went of travel; went out of the window.

"B-b-but that's not possible! They shouldn't be able to power anything with that kind of mas to a speed that supersedes that of 72% of the speed of light!" said the Technician

The ship just hovered there for minutes on end, not sending radio signals anywhere. Just floating there in space almost as if the entire crew was dead and there was nothing on board. It is likely, and that would mean the ship was theirs to disassemble and study, but this was obviously a plotted course. And just being here was a threat to the Citadel's security.

It was then that the ship sent a message to all of the inhabitants around. The Human Race will be meeting the Citadel council in 3 weeks' time to discuss the events on Shanxi. Nothing else and nothing more was said. The ships alarms started to blared, and the Commander ran to find out what was going on.

"We are picking up massive readings of Hawking's radiation! There is no possible way that a black hole is suddenly just forming out of nowhere Commander!" the technician said, then her eyes widened as she pin pointed its origin. "It's that ship! It's the cause of the Hawking's Radiation!"

The ship turned on 90 degrees without moving forward or backward, a black whole opening in front of it, before it disappeared inside the whole. The Asari's eyes were wide, that had been another method of space travel they hadn't grasped and here a new race was found to have both of the most advanced methods of space travel.

Another ship with Salarains had looked on in awe. They witnessed their theories being confirmed and used in a ship, and it made them proud to know it was possible, but eager to find out how this species had done the impossible. They were technologically the most advanced race in the galaxy, well second most advanced race as of now.

"Send all data retrieved of the events to the Dalatrass. We have to advance to a new level to be able to compete with that race and become the most advanced race once again." The Salarain Commander said in jealousy.

Suddenly a crew member fell to his knees. "Why? WHY MUST THE BAD GUYS ALWAYS HAVE ALL THE COOL THINGS? WHY!" this earned odd stares from the crew and some of them started to scoot away from him.

"Weirdness is not infectious is it?" asked a random Salarain. "He does have a point thou. NO! I'm INFECTED! Aaaaah! It buuuurns! AAAAAAH"

"I just had to get the comic book crew didn't I?" The Commander asked himself.


Migrant Fleet


Several Batarain ships were chasing their smaller ships, set on taking their people as slaves. They had managed to destroy 2 ships, but there were roughly another 50 chasing them. It looked like they had outrun them when the ships alarms blared to life. The inhabitants of the ship ran to their stations to see what was happening only to halt as they started to fear for their live.

The 50 Batarain ships had found them, but that wasn't what worried them. Behind them a massive black hole was forming, at least it blocked the Batarain's from them, but the gravity would be the thing that kills them. They were about to flee again when they saw a ship come out of the hole before the black hole closed behind the ship.

"Commander?"

"Yes, I see it too, you're not crazy" she said.

The strange ship hailed her ship. Her eyes widened, she had no idea what to do, and this was most likely a first contact situation during a battle.

"Greetings, I am Commander Dash Baxter of the Dark Phantom here to assist you if need be. We are representatives of the Human race, seeking an audience with the Quarrain race. We humans merely seek an alliance, in return we would gladly terra from any planet of your choosing into a new home for you. The Geth will be handle in a peaceful manner as we believe that anything with sentience is a living being." Dash said.

"Commander, you were supposed to start conversation before you tell them that!" shouted somebody from the background.

"I was? Oops, Jazz is going to kill me…" Dash sighed. "Any chance we could have a do over?"

The Quarrian commander was speechless, she could do nothing except tilt her head and ask one question to her crew.

"Are these guys real?"

"OF COURSE WE ARE!" shouted Dash.

Thinking quickly, the Commander asked them something he thought might be of help. "Can you call back up to deal with those Batarain's?"

"Consider the Batarain's dealt with." Dash smirked

She saw the man change in front of the screen, his commander outfit turned into a black shirt that clung to his large chest with a leather jacket over that. He wore a jean with a silver belt buckle of a skull. His eyes became toxic green and his hair turned into an auburn colour. He flew out of the front of his ship, her ships camera tracking his movements.

"What are they?" asked one of the crew members.

"Only the ancestors know the answer to that question."

Dash flew to a spot where he was close enough to the ships of the Batarain's who were still too shocked at what had just transpired in front of them. The human raised an arm into the air and five balls of fire formed in his hand. The first was white as snow with a blue outline, the second was black with a dark purple outline, the third was a toxic green with a yellow outline, the fourth was transparent and the last was an electric blue flame with an ultra violet flame surrounding the inner part. The transparent flam was at the center with all the rest hovering around it, what followed should have been impossible. He turned his hand clockwise then anti-clockwise then back to its original position. The flames spun clockwise, gaining speed, blurring into a rainbow of colours.

Then the thing happened that shocked the Quarrian's the most was the sound, like soft winds brushing against leaves and waves crashing against the shore. Winds blowing thru narrow spaces that created a majestic melody of nature.

"Commander Baxter is using the ability Nephilim refer to as the Symphony of Destruction or SoD."

The Batarian's now realising the man was attacking them, started to fire shots, but that had just been what he had been waiting for. As the projectiles neared him, he thrust his arm forward and in that motion set free the power of a thousand suns. The attack's soft sounds turned into wails of the damned, hundreds of energyballs shot forward, flashing different colours as they moved. Hitting their targets and burning right thru the shields and the armour of the ships.

"How, is that possible?"

"We have our power, you have yours. Ours is only much more destructive and powerful than yours." The girl said. "He and my mother and the rest of my race possess abilities that neither the living nor the dead should have."

"Are you Zombies?" asked the Commander of the Ship

"Zombies? Aliens have that as well? Ugh! I'll have to tell dad we have another race with zombies, Fudge I hate those things!"

"Zombies are real?"

"Wait you don't have zombies? Oh, and no, we aren't zombies, we were never dead. Just immortal and stuff."

She was awed by the information she had just gotten from the girl. Immortality? That was just something in folklore and myths. If what she said was true, and the demonstration of their abilities and scientific knowledge, it would be wise to approve their request. She immediately called The Admiralty board to discuss this.

After 2 hours, the Admiralty said they would set up a meeting in 2 weeks' time. She relayed the message to Dash, he nodded and the Human ships left them. They left in a flash of light, this time giving off large readings of tachyons in the general area they had been…


Turain Hierarchy


The weapons and everything was ready for the attack, but they were called off by Councillor Sparratus, saying that the humans were going to go talk to the counsel. The Hierarchy agreed to let them talk it out, as some of them had secretly been wishing to have the humans under their control. They were waiting anxiously for the humans to start their talk in the Citadel. One wrong move and they would attack, the whole fleet ready at the Mass relay to jump from relay to relay to eliminate this pest from the galaxy.


Thessai


"So Liara, have you heard about the humans and their escapade around the galaxy?"

"No, why would I have heard about humans?"

"Well, they were discovered by the Turians. There were leaked video footage of the battle on the human's home planets. They had biotics and all sorts of other power that made the Turian first line seem like Pyjacks. Even head shots are useless against them, as they somehow regenerate from it. The one video shows these crazy powerful human flying out into space and overtaking technology!"

"What? Is that even possible?"

"Yes, and listen to this. If they play dead, they stop their hearts and all neural activity. They also have the ability to open portals to another dimension and move thru solid objects. If that doesn't tickle you interest you should know that the two that played dead was over 3000 years old."

"Impossible! That's older than the oldest Matriarch had ever been!"

"It sounds like I am bragging about this race, but their abilities are so unrealistic. I've even seen the video of their arrival at the Citadel the previous time, they literally travelled as fast as time itself, before simply jumping into a black hole and disappearing again!" Tacking out his omni-tool Thane showed her the video.

"Amazing, so when are you going back to your home world?"

"Monday why?"

"I thought we might have a stop on the Citadel today and look at these humans. They are coming today…"

"Sure! I really wanted to go, but you might not have wanted to so I stayed here."

"I want to see what type of entrance they will be making this time. Any one of the two would be satisfactory, but I just want to see how it looks like when they actually use these drives."

"I know what you mean, I heard that the Salarian's have been camping out near the location to see their entrance and ask them questions on how they achieve these forms of travel."

Liara chuckled, they would be interested in that, wouldn't they? She shook her head, she was intrigued with the species because they reminded her of the book her mother sent the Counsel representative. She had no idea as to why it seemed so familiar, like a forgotten memory or dream.


Earth


"So, what is our entrance going to look like?" Danny asked.

"Oh, Danni said we are going to take 15 ships, three will carry us and we will each have 5 ships as chaperons. We are going to travel with warp and jump-drives as well as the mass relay, maybe if we feel like showing off, we could dimension how travel to their too." Dash replied

Danny smirked. "Let's give them the entrance they will never forget for as long as they live."

Dash grinned and nodded. "I really love your evil mind little brother."
