Authors Show, I don't do Authors notes, I do shows!

Camera pans the set and goes around the living room decorated set. The audience is filled and the people are waiting anxiously for the stars of the show to arrive. When the doors open, a woman walks out, her coffee brown skin was shining with energy, her smile brilliant white and the overall cheerfulness she radiated was almost tangible.

The crowd applauded as she walked up to the stage and took her seat. She waited a few seconds for the crowd to calm down, smiling patiently. She turned and looked at the audience and the cameras.

"Good afternoon everybody. It's great to have you all here. "She smiled. "Today we have a very special treat for you! The writer of this fiction had decided that a normal Authors note that explains certain things to certain people would be too boring. So he decided to adapt it into a show for me!"

The crowd clapped their hands, intrigued as ever.

"Today on The Oprah Winfrey Show, you will be able to meet the cast from the one and only Not What it seems!" She chuckled as she saw a few people's mouths wide open at her announcement. "Yes, today the special guests are Danny and the rest of his Family!"

"However, before we go there. I would like to tell you something. The Author himself might make a guest appearance in the show later on. Who knows?"

Then as if it was a dream Danny, James, Daniele, Jasmine, Tucker, Sam, John and Valarie appeared in a swirl of blue mist. The audience was thrilled at the display and was extremely excited to see their heroes live! The all walked to the seats and sat down, partially facing Oprah but more angled towards the audience. The team smiled and waved, greeting everybody.

"Hello Oprah." They all said in sync, followed by chuckling.

"Hello guys. SO I was told that you have a few things to say from the author regarding a few reviews and stuff like that." Oprah leaned in.

"Yip, he sure gave us some notes and stuff. Oddly enough he had an evil glint in his eye as he gave us these things." Danny explained

"Oddly enough, I recognized that glint." Oprah pondered.

"Well, this first thing he wanted to say was "Thank You", as the support and enthusiasm you guys have and show makes it worth his while writing his stories. He just loves to hear your opinions and ideas. However some people are a bit cold, and he would prefer it if you would rather give criticism that helps him improve his writing and not break him down."

"Right you are Danny, Things like reviews and messages have a profound effect on how we react to a situation and how we deal and continue with our stories." Oprah said.

"Oprah, I just hear what you said, and it sounds as if you are familiar with that feeling. Why would you be familiar with it?" asked John

"For those of you who don't know, I am an amateur fanfiction writer as well. I love writing alternate endings to things I have watched on TV or seen at the movies that doesn't satisfy me. A lot of people would agree to have thought of other endings as well. Most might have not written them, but I do and I just love to do it."

"Wow, that is really amazing Oprah. The author of our story comes from South Africa and writes in the UK spelling methods. It differs from our own, here in America, we changed the spelling of certain words for example exorcise is spelled with a 'c' in the UK and a 'z' over this side.

"Not to mention that colour is spelled without the 'u' in America. This difference is because of region and changes brought due to differently evolving the language. We all talk the same language, but there are subtle differences in spelling." Jasmine said.

"I understand, it would be really awkward to write recognise and recognize in the same sentence. It would ruin the whole story for the reader." Oprah said, the audience nodding in agreement.

"Precisely, and as an intellectual person, I know how hard it would be to do it, just for a little fan fiction. Authors from books that sell internationally have editors who change the words to match the region, something our Author does not have the luxury of." Jasmine continued.

"Danny, I realised that your roughly 3000 years old maybe even older, and technology as advanced a lot since the time you were born. I do however notice that you still drive a Porsche and Dash drives with his Lamborghini. Why is that?"

"Well, there are a few reasons. Dash and I just love the feel of driving in an actual car, don't get me wrong the teleportation grid is fantastic and allows us to travel almost instantaneously, but I just love driving a car. We have added Carbon filters to the exhaust, which traps Carbon atoms and binds them to the filters and releases the Oxygen molecules." Danny explained to the people.

"Besides that, I think Danny and Dash just the nostalgic feeling of driving in a car." Tucker added with a chuckle. "I myself love to sail my yacht and go driving on my motorcycle."

Oprah laughed. She would understand that, as she herself still loved to do that, even thou she was roughly 1000 years younger than those two. "So Sam, you haven't said anything this entire time."

Sam chuckled. "Well I have been waiting for the appropriate question to answer, but it just never came."

"Well, what would that question have been and would you answer that?"

"If the author can find a Beta and if he will. The answer to that question is basically answered in his Profile Page. It states that he has been looking for a Beta for the past couple of months and hadn't had any luck in finding one. All of you, who have noticed Language errors such as sentence construction, please highlight it and tell the author. He really does try his best to give the readers the best quality work possible." Sam answered

"That is such a shame, I know it is hard finding a Beta to help you. Thankfully for me I have hired somebody who helps me."

One of the technicians runs over and informs the hostess of something, her eyes widen and she smiles. She turns her head to the door.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I would love to introduce a member of another planet and species to this show, Garrus Vakarian!"

Garrus walked out from behind the stage and smiled in his own way, which the audience didn't recognise, but thanks to the sub harmonics, the people with sensitive hearing made out something distinct. They knew it would have been something along the lines of embarrassment or blushing. Garrus sat down on another comfy armchair.

"Hello everyone." He said simply

"Hello Garrus, and might I ask what brings you here today?"

"I am just here to talk some sense into some of the readers Oprah."

"That's nice of you Garrus."

"Thank Your Oprah. Well I heard that some of you think the author made my race too dumb, but in reality, he didn't make the race dumb. He merely made the first line grunts dumb, which is logical, as we send the dumber soldiers in first followed by the smarter ones to secure victory. The smarter soldiers will have learned the tactics of our enemies thanks to the live feed camera's all our troops have with them."

"Very clever!" James said

"Why thank you. I know humans love to be tactful too."

"We sure do." James said

Valarie suddenly spoke up. "I would also like to ask "Random Reader" if he can do better than the Author has done so far, because I think he has done a great job. Too bad you're so cowardice as to use a leave without any way we can contact you and ask if you can do any better… Oh, wait I just did…" Valarie turned towards Oprah. "Sorry about that, I just had to say that Oprah."

"It's absolutely no problem." Oprah said as she waved it off "Also I would like to ask you 'Random Reader' if you know the Author personally to make such biased accusations? If not, what gives you the right to be such a behaved and unmannered human being?"

"As a person who has nothing good to say, or give any constructive criticism, I would recommend you shut your hole. You ought to learn manners." Garrus added

"Well, thank you all for watching this special Authors note! Goodbye everybody!" Ethan Writer said as he walked out from behind the stage. He was dressed in a casual jean, and a white shirt with the word Dynamite on it. His chest was slightly visible thru the material, and his hazel brown eyes shining with mischief. His light caramel tan skin was blemish free and he had a dorky expression on his face. He gave another quick wave and disappeared behind the stage again.
