Neither of them said anything during dinner, they kept to themselves the entire time and would for much of the rest of the evening. It was a companionable silence, content to just be in one another's presence.
Once they finished, Ciel got up and proceeded with doing the dishes as Alois put his dirty dishes into the sink for Ciel to do as well.
Once the kitchen was clean Ciel basically went on with the rest of his night as if Alois wasn't even around, meaning he was studying or doing homework that Alois had brought over with him when he decided to take it upon himself to come take care of Ciel. Alois just sat next to him quietly, having nothing much to say, the excitement of the day having died down.
Once it got pretty late, Ciel decided he was done for the day and wanted to go to bed.
He put everything away and got up off the floor as he walked up the staircase to his room, Alois following quietly behind him. Ciel gave Alois a pair of his pajamas, not really giving the gesture much thought, and they both crawled into Ciel's bed.
For some reason, Ciel didn't seem to mind it at the time.
Alois had the tiniest of smiles on his face until he fell asleep with Ciel's comforting warmth beside him. He knew that Ciel wasn't putting too much thought into what he was doing; just going about his life as normal and making up for the extra person in it, but… it was nice for somebody to care…
Ciel was pulled from sleep to the blaring of his electronic alarm clock. He woke quite instantly in that adrenaline fuelled way that sudden loud noise tend to do to a person then reached over and slapped the thing into silence. As soon as he got his bearings he instantly felt like he was going to vomit. He laid back down in bed hoping to quell the feelings of nausea, if he knew anything about sickness it's that you felt a hell of a lot worse when you were sitting up. He turned his head on his pillow and was almost surprised to see another person in his bed… then yesterday came back to him.
'Oh yes' he thought 'THIS ONE came over.'
He just looked at Alois for a moment. He was sleeping soundly, breathing deep and even.
'All that racket and he sleeps like the dead.' Ciel scoffed 'He would.'
He watched his sleeping face for a moment, listened to the deep breathing and watched the smallest of twitches in fingers and eyes, probably in reaction to a dream.
He just watched for a moment, and then he slowly leaned in close to his sleeping face.
"UP!" he shouted giving Alois a strong shove right off of the bed. Alois yelped as he fell, just barely managing to flip onto his side so he didn't hit his head on the floor. He took a moment to compose himself before peeking back over the side of the bed and glowering at Ciel, who was mostly just trying to orient his dizzy brain with the upright position of his body.
"That wasn't very nice, Ciel." Alois said sourly.
"Yeah well, I'm not a very nice guy. Come on were eating breakfast." He pulled himself out of bed and told Alois to change back into his uniform and come down when he was done.
Ciel headed to the kitchen and got out two bowls, filling them both with a sugary sweet cereal then filling his own bowl with milk and leaving the carton on the table. He began eating and Alois came down shortly after and poured milk into his own bowl.
They ate in silence for a few minutes before Ciel had a thought. He had made Alois dinner yesterday, they had both slept and now they were eating breakfast together… when had this become a fucking sleepover?!
Ciel stood up rather abruptly, which didn't agree with his now full and already queasy stomach at all and said "Okay, it's time for you to head to school or you'll be late."
Alois looked up at him confused. "wha- but aren't you going to stay home? You're sick! I have to stay here to take care of you!"
"Thank you, but I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself, I've been doing it for a long time."
There was a moment of silence after that as Ciel thought about what he'd just said.
"i- just- go on! Go on to school now or. You'll. Be. LATE! Go on now."
he made shooing motions with his hands and ushered Alois to the door with his bag that he had brought over yesterday.
"Okay Ciel! Feel better soon and come back to school or I'll miss you!" he leaned over and placed a quick kiss on Ciel's Cheek.
Ciel stammered for a moment. "wha- i- j-just GO! Get going! And don't ever do that again!"
Ciel covered his cheek with his hand as his face started turning red. Alois ran down the front steps giggling and made his way happily to school.
Alois only realized at the end of the day that he had paid very little attention in any of his classes. His mind was occupied mostly with thoughts of Ciel and when he would get to see him again. Overall he was very bored in class for a large portion of the day. He barely paid attention to any of his classes… Maybe one of his other classmates would be nice enough to give him their notes.
He quickly rushed off to try and catch them all before they left.
He just got the last of his notes from a girl in his English class and now he had an armload of notebooks that he had promised to give back first thing in the morning the next day. Most everyone was gone now out of the school while he had been busy and the only people still roaming the building were the staff and a select few clubs that met up in classrooms.
He was practically skipping down the hall' humming to himself when he was quite suddenly pulled by his elbow into a small supply closet off the main hallway. all the notebooks clattered to the floor beneath him as the door was pulled shut.
He let out a yelp as the side of his face was shoved up against the wall with his arm held behind his back; an uncovered iridescent bulb flickered above was holding him up against the wall basically had a death grip on his arm and had it shoved pretty far up his back at an angle that his arm should not bend to. the light was very dim and shone behind the other person in the room, making him appear to be nothing more than a silhouette.
Alois wasn't quite aware as to why he'd been pulled into this closet but the reason soon became very clear as he felt this guy's hand somewhere it didn't belong. Alois' eyes grew large as he tried to struggle away from the male behind him, "H-Hey! Wh-Where do you think you're t-touching?!" He said.
Alois felt that hand leave his body as it was slapped over his mouth now. "Shut up." He threatened into the blonde's ear. "There will be consequences if you don't listen." The male added before removing his hand from Alois' mouth.
Alois couldn't tell who the voice belonged to, did he know this person? Was it a student? Teacher? Probably not, he was barely taller than Alois himself; but he couldn't tell. It was definitely a male's voice though. That hand that had covered his mouth only moments ago had found it's way back to a part of his body he didn't want anyone touching. Alois started to struggle again, trying to break free of this guys' grasp but to no avail; the male behind him was much stronger than Alois was.
That unfamiliar hand moved it's way to Alois' hip where it remained for a few seconds as the male leaned his chest into Alois' back and bit down on his neck to leave a mark. Alois whined in discomfort as he tried to move away but was pulled right back by his arm. The hand resting on his hip soon started to snake it's way down in a diagonal direction until Alois could feel that hand rubbing over his groin. Alois whined and struggled; he didn't want this. The strange man slipped his hand into Alois' pants as he fondled Alois a little bit and leaned his chest right up against Alois' back again.
"You want me to stop, right?"
Alois choked on a sob as he nodded, "Then stay away from Ciel and it wont happen again. If you don't listen to me, it'll only get worse from here and something might even happen to the Phantomhive boy…" He threatened into the blonde's ear.
Suddenly, Alois was released completely as he fell to his knees against the tiled closet floor. He just sat there for a few moments, staring at the cracks in-between tiles as he felt tears fall from his eyes and down his chin onto the tiles. When he went to look around the closet, the male had disappeared and the door was cracked open. Alois got to his feet, gathering up the notebooks quickly, and left the closet and the school grounds. He didn't know who was in the closet with him and he didn't really want to stick around to find out incase the male decided he wasn't finished toying with poor Alois. Halfway between the School and Ciel's house, Alois stopped and stared ahead.
/He told me.. To stay away from Ciel.. But I have his homework.../ The blonde thought. /Should… Should I still go to his house to give it to him..?/ He continued his thoughts as he sniffled and rubbed at one of his eyes with his free hand.
He decided to go to Ciel's anyway as he had his homework that needed to be delivered.
When he got to the Raven's house, he hesitated in knocking. He was scared, he didn't want anything to happen to Ciel and he certainly didn't want /that/ to happen again either. The blonde took a deep breath before he knocked a little too quietly on the door; Ciel didn't hear it. Realizing this, Alois frowned and knocked a bit louder the second time around. Hearing it that time, Ciel made his way to the front door as he unlocked and opened it. Alois extended his arms rather quickly, holding out Ciel's homework.
The Raven took the papers from the blonde but before he could say anything he watched Alois turn around and bolt off in the opposite direction. Ciel raised an eyebrow at the action as he didn't know what spurred the blonde to run away but he just shrugged it off and shut the door, re-locking it.
Alois made it down the street, stopping and hunching over a bit with his hands resting on his knees as he panted to catch his breath. He slowly glanced back in the direction he came from and frowned; he didn't want to keep away from Ciel… Ciel was still ill too, he needed to take care of him! Alois just shook his head as he started to walk away again.
/I can't../ He thought as he made his way home.
When he got to his driveway he saw that the curtains shielding the windows next to the front door were open, that meant his sister was home.
/Great.. I can't even tell her because she wont listen to me… She probably wont care and will just shoo me away like usual.../
He thought as he let out a sigh and walked up the sidewalk and entered his house. He found out that, not only was his sister home but she had friends over as well. That made it ten times better as he actually wanted to /try/ and tell his sister what happened to see if she'd actually listen and give him advice like an older sibling was /supposed/ to do. Now he didn't want to because he didn't want all of her friends eavesdropping on the conversation between the two of them and butting in where they didn't belong.
He headed for the stairs and ignored his sister completely when she tried to speak to him. He went straight to his room, shut the door and locked it; he didn't want to be bothered. He went up to his window and made sure it was locked too because, where there was a way in, Lizzie was sure to try especially since he ignored her on the way up to his room. That was probably a bad idea because now she wanted to know what was going on.
Lizzie came up to his door and tried to open it. Upon finding out he locked it, she started to bang her fist against it. "Alois!? Open the door!" She said. When she didn't get an answer, she only banged on the door harder. Suddenly, she heard music now and it was loud. He was trying to block her out and now she was starting to get worried.
He usually told her things that bothered him and now he was pushing her away? /Maybe if I give him a little time… To relax and think… He'll come out../ She thought as he started to walk away. She stopped at the top of the staircase and glanced back to her little brother's door before walking down the stairs to be back with her friends again.
Alois could no longer hear her banging on the door so he turned his music down just a little so he could focus more on trying to get as much homework done. After about fifteen minutes of listening to music and working on his homework, he stopped. He could still feel that hand on him and it was making him very uncomfortable. He decided to go and take a shower to try and wash the feeling away. His shower only took fifteen minutes.
He got out, dried off and got dressed as he decided that he felt a lot better. He had Ciel's number in his phone, maybe he should text him and apologize for skipping out on him the way he had. He walked back over to where he was working on his homework not that long ago as he sat down and picked up his phone. Surely whoever was threatening him wouldn't know he was still texting Ciel… Right? He hoped not as he still really wanted to talk to the raven haired male..
"Ciel..? I'm sorry for earlier.."
He set his phone down on the table as he went to work on more of his homework while he waited for Ciel to see and reply to his text. Ciel didn't have his phone with him, though. He was sitting in the living room working on his own homework while the television was running in the living room so he had background noise. His phone was all the way up in his room right now as it was charging. When Alois didn't get a text back from Ciel after about an hour and a half, he picked his phone back up.
"...Ciel? Are you mad at me..?"
Alois sent another text to Ciel's phone. Now he just wanted a text back to know Ciel wasn't ignoring him because of his earlier behavior. Ciel had been done with his homework a little before the second text came through to his phone, he still just didn't have it on his person. He was in the kitchen making himself something for an early dinner as he was asleep during lunchtime.
Ciel decided to make himself something quick and easy as he didn't have the patience nor energy to sit in front of the stove/oven to cook an actual healthy meal. Ciel went up to his room after he was done eating to check his phone. He would sometimes get calls or texts from his father, if not for those calls and texts he'd just completely ignore his phone as it was a useless electronic device to him that he hardly ever used otherwise. See that he did have two texts, he went to go read them but they weren't from his father. From the way Alois was texting him though, he could tell something was a bit… Off.
"No, I'm not mad. My phone was charging.
What's there to be sorry about anyway?
You didn't do anything wrong, you know."
Ciel texted him back and removed the charging cord from his phone as he went back downstairs to the living room. He was currently watching pre-recorded shows that interested him. He had his phone now so he'd be answering the blonde more often. Alois jumped a bit when he felt his phone vibrate on his stomach as he'd been lying down when he got the text from Ciel. He opened it and read it as he let out a sigh of relief.
"Good.. I don't want you to be mad…
I'm sorry for running away like that
after you opened the door and I gave
you your homework…"
Everytime Ciel would get a text, he'd have to pause the recording to read and respond because he didn't want to miss anything in his shows.
"There's no need to apologize for it but
why did you run away like that?"
"...I… I can't say…"
"And why is that?"
"...Because I can't..."
They continued to text each other back and forth for a little bit until Lizzie came back to Alois' room and started to bang on the door again. "Alois? Are you okay now?" She asked as Alois sat up. "Yeah, I'm fine." He responded to his sisters question. Lizzie let out her own sigh of relief, "Is there anything you want to talk about?" She asked. Alois only blinked, she was really going to sit there and listen and give him advice?
Glancing to his door, "Depends… Are you going to actually listen to what I have to say this time..? It's pretty important…" He stated. Lizzie nodded even though she knew he couldn't see it behind the closed door, "Of course, I always listen." She stated as Alois just shook his head but didn't comment on her statement. He got off his bed as he went and unlocked his door before Lizzie opened it to let herself in. Alois turned his music off so they wouldn't have to yell at each other.
The two siblings sat on Alois' bed as he told Lizzie what happened after school let out; how he went around and got Ciel's homework from all of his classes and how as he was about to leave the school he got pulled into a closet and shoved up against the wall and basically got molested by some guy he couldn't identify, how he got threatened to stop hanging with Ciel otherwise the molesting would only continue and get worse and that something would even happen to Ciel if he didn't obey the strangers' words.
Lizzie didn't even know what to say. She was clearly upset that someone would even lay their hands on her baby brother in that way and it was obvious that Alois not being able to be around Ciel was bothering him. "Well, you keep being friends with Ciel. No one can tell you who and who not to be friends with. Sissy will walk with you in the halls between classes and will walk home with you if you'd like." Alois was actually rather surprised.
Lizzie was always with her friends and getting rides to and from school from them. Now she was offering to walk to and from school with him as well as walk with him between his classes. It was obvious to him now that she actually did care. Sure he knew she cared, he just didn't know how much because she was always doing things with her friends instead of with him. The fact he could freely be comfortable with Ciel in public again made him feel so much better and took a lot of weight off his shoulders. He moved closer to his sister to hug her, "Thank you." He said.
Lizzie only chuckled as she patted her brother's back, "Of course." The two separated and Lizzie got up to leave Alois' room to go back to the living room as her friends were still over and wouldn't be leaving til after Dinner. Alois picked up his phone and dialed Ciel's number. He wanted to talk to him voice to voice rather than over text about a few things. When Ciel picked up, they started talking and eventually Alois told Ciel what happened earlier that same day. When Alois' was done talking, there was a long silence on Ciel's end. Alois' waited a few seconds, "...Ciel? Are you still there..?" He asked.
Ciel felt oddly angry at the moment. Why? He didn't know at this second. Someone had molested Alois and threatened not only the blonde but him as well? What for? What did this stranger have against him? "Yeah, yeah I'm still here.." He reassured the blonde on the other end of the call. Ciel felt worried for the blonde but this wasn't the only instance he's felt worried, or felt any emotion towards the blonde for that matter. Alois nodded, "Can.. Can I come over..?" He asked, they didn't have school in the morning since tomorrow was Saturday.
Ciel knew Alois would want to stay the night again and at that very moment, Ciel didn't care. "Yeah, sure. That's fine." He said as Alois smiled brightly. "Yay! Thank you!" He said as he clicked a button on his phone. Ciel blinked as he took the phone away from his ear to see that the blonde ended their call. "Little shit, hung up on me." He mumbled as he hung up his end and stretched out on the couch a bit. Alois went to ask his sister if she would drive him over to Ciel's; he was told she would after dinner since she still had her friends over. Alois whipped out his phone and texted Ciel.
"I'll be over sometime after Dinner.
Lizzie has friends over for dinner
and then she'll drive me over."
He hit send and then sat down at the kitchen table as his sister was just starting up preparations for the meal. He didn't know her friends so he wouldn't go sit in the living room with them. The siblings could hear her friends conversing from the living room as the two of them were completely quiet in the Kitchen. Ciel got the text as he read it.
"Alright, text me when you're on the
way then so I can make sure the door
is unlocked, otherwise you're stuck
outside until I feel like unlocking it."
Alois' phone vibrated a couple inches across the kitchen table from Ciel's text. He picked up the device as he read the message and texted back an "Ok" to the raven haired male as he stuck his phone in his pocket so Lizzie could set the table for everyone while the food was cooking. Not long after the table had been set was the food ready.
Lizzie called her friends into the kitchen as everyone sat down to eat and converse some more. It had been a hour now and Lizzie's friends finally left as Alois was up in his room, packing a bag for the weekend as he was going to surprise his raven haired friend by telling him he was staying all weekend. Lizzie came up to get him, shortly after they were in Lizzie's car and heading to Ciel's. Alois had to give her directions as she's never been to the male's house before.
"Now, if anything happens while you're over there you call me immediately, got it?" Alois nodded, he understood perfectly. He knew Lizzie would rush over if anything happened. It hit Alois that he forgot to text Ciel before they left, they were halfway to his house already. He whipped out his phone quickly.
"BABY I'M ALMOST THERE."
Ciel read the text from the blonde as he felt his eye twitch a little bit. Baby? /I'll strangle him for calling me that.../ Ciel thought as he hit the text box.
"Alright. And don't you ever call
me 'baby' again. I will hang you
by your toes…"
Alois read the text as he blinked and just chuckled. Lizzie finally pulled up into Ciel's driveway as Alois' got out after thanking his sister for the ride and ran up to the front door as he let himself in since the door wasn't locked.
"Baby! I'm here!" He called out as Ciel slowly turned his head to look at Alois from where he was sitting on the couch. "What'd I say about calling me that?" He asked. Alois smiled and shrugged as he pranced over to the couch and sat down beside Ciel. "Are you feeling better?" The blonde asked as Ciel leaned back into his couch. "I guess. I slept most of the day…" He admitted as he hit play on the remote to start his show back up.
Alois looked at him, "Should I make you soup!?" He asked, getting real excited. He didn't know Ciel already ate, Alois didn't think he had yet. Ciel glanced his way with his eyes only. "No. No I ate already." The wide grin on Alois' face quickly turned into a pouting frown.
Alright.. Here's what's going on.. Neither one of us really feel like continuing this story. So unfortunately, this is where it ends. This was literally decided about 20 minutes or so ago so I decided to upload the rest of the chapters I had saved and the one we just basically finished. This story will not continue and we will be making more but they'll basically be Short Stories/One Shots. The longer we make the stories, the more likely it is for neither one of us to continue/complete it unless we really get into it. We will however try to make our short stories/one shots pretty long. You may get a surprise here and there if we do actually decide to work on a chapter for this story. It will not be frequent or often though. If there's anything you need to know or have any questions, contact me via Skype: sassy_cassy_
Thank you.
