The Sidithen Race
Thank you for reading my story so far. It has come to my intention that I have forgotten to introduce My Main Charters of the Sidithen Race. So here it is.
Name: Petra Lester Cartelin

Personality: Head-strong, Honest, Enthusiastic, Powerful Force user, Kind and always thinking of the Empire and his family before himself.
The Reason the Emperor Is 122 years old will be told later on in the story.

Eye Colour: Black
Personality: Head-strong, Paranoid, Cautious, and always thinking about the Empire's future.
Name: General Brenden Gower
Age: 54
Hair Colour: Black
Eye Colour: Green
Personality: Head-strong, Wilful, Cautious, stubborn, and always overstepping his authority.
Chapter VIII
On the Imperial Cruise we left the heroes of the Republic, the Senator of Naboo Padme Amidala and Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker. Along with the Cartelin Emperor and his children on the start of the voyage to Coruscant the Home Planet of the Great Republic.
Emperor Petra: Come my friends; let me give you a tour of the ship.
Anakin: Thank you Sire.
Emperor Petra: there is no need of formality here. On this ship we go by first names here.
Padme: Okay why Petra?
Alex: The ship is called the Imperial cruise for a reason. Here we can relax, have no stress, little work, Peace and quiet.
Emperor Petra: Yes well put my son. My Friends here we are open and free. Also please just call me Pet, now on with the tour; we are currently on the Command Deck which is just the Bridge, my Private Office and the Armoury. In order to get around the ship we have stairs for quick & easy access.
Anakin: What happens if we get attack and boarded?
Alex: If we get boarded all access points get blocked off with a shield which also has the same absorbing properties as the ships shields.
Anakin: Does all your shields have absorbing properties?
Alex: Yes every shield has the absorbing properties, no matter what type of energy that attacks the shield get absorbed which in turn makes the shield not only stronger but as wells as powering the shield.
Anakin: Wow cool technology your Empire has.
Cody: Thanks we developed it around fifty years ago and it has made us what we are today, and the best thing for your Republic is you to will be getting the same Shield Technology.
Level 2 – the living space
Emperor Petra: On the living deck we have the sleeping quarters with their own bathrooms there is also quarters of my Personal Guard. There are 6 escape pods that are on this level that can fit 5 people each. Also on this level we have a training court and the Dining Room were we will be dining after this tour is done. Alex your quarters will be next to the stairs Here, Claire your quarters are between Alex's and Cody's quarters and Cody as I have just said your quarters are next to Claire and Oh before I forget Anakin can you and Padme share a room together there is only 5 passengers rooms on this ship.
Anakin: I don't mind what about you Padme you don't mind do you?
Padme: No I don't mind that is if there is no other rooms.
Anakin: It's alright I will sleep on the couch.
Emperor Petra: Great now on to level 3 Engineering.
The Emperor, his children, Anakin and Padme walk down to the Engineering level and showed them the engine and the shield generator.
Emperor Petra: Here on this level we have the engines with the speed of 250,000x the speed of light or to put it another way the ship can travel through a star system in 7 hours at sublight speed or we can travel from Cartelin Prime to your home world in under a week. Here is the Shield generator that can protect us if we get to close to a star we will be 100% safe from the star's radiation.
Padme: What about the power source for the powerful shields you have
Alex: I have no idea, Dad do you know?
Emperor Petra: of course I know. It does requires a fair bit of power; However when in battle the shields will only require little power. But remember if there is too much power it will overload the Power compactors which in turn will not only shut down the shields but as well as damaging your ships.
Anakin: Wow some very impressive technology.
Emperor Petra: Thank you my friends. Now that the tour is over my children will escort you to your quarters to freshen up, with a change of clothes as well for dinner tonight, while I do some important errands to do.
Padme: But how do you know our sizes and taste of clothing?
Emperor Petra: While you were on board the Citadel the computer studied your clothing choices, your movement in it, as well as computing your size at the time and calculated what you clothing request would be.
Padme: Oh well thank you again Pet you are a good friend indeed.
Alex: Well if you like to follow us we will take you to your quarters.
Anakin: Alright after you.
While Anakin and Padme followed Alex, Cody and Claire to their quarters to freshen up for dinner the Emperor Went to his Personal Office to talk his real second in command, Other than his wife and his children. Lord Volepower. As the Emperor Walks up the stairs to the bridge to get to his Personal Office he thought of the changes his Empire have done to this galaxy and what is yet to happen that must happen.
Emperor Petra: Vole's my friend how are you? It is good to talk you again.
Volepower: I'm good Pet. But I know that this is not a social call.
Emperor Petra: Right as usual My Friend. How is the Cloud System going?
Volepower: It is done Pet. The Cloud is 100% ready. The shipyard is functional, the farming colonises have be planted and the Mines are producing great amounts.
Emperor Petra: Good. Have the Shipyards start building Capital ships and fighter carriers. How this the Defence Satellites System?
Volepower: I will have the shipyards start producing the ships as soon as possible. The DSS is up and operational. With the Senor Range at the moment we can now see over 4 systems all around the Cloud Systems.
Emperor Petra: Perfect, with our unique defence systems we can now see any incoming ships before they even enter the surrounding systems and stay undetected. How is it being in command there? Is peaceful?
Volepower: More like boring Pet. When can I get some real action? You said that we will be getting some fighting?
Emperor Petra: I know what I have promised my friend, but you are the only one aside from my Family that I trust to be in charge of that system. But I will try and get you some battle time.
Volepower: Well you better or else I will take my boredom on you.
Emperor Petra: My oh my that would be a fight to remember. There will be a lot of bets on which one of us will win. (Hahahaha)
Volepower: Don't forget that I kicked your butt at training when we were younger. I could leave my second in charge so I can go to battle.
Emperor Petra: How can I forget the time when you kicked my butt if you keep on reminding me? But if you can replace someone that I can trust then that would be fine.
Volepower: I won't let you forget it and you know it (Hahahaha). I will find my replacement at once. I'll send you a list of replacement soon.
Emperor Petra: Alright that is fine with me. Well I have to go now I have to go to dinner with our new Republic friends and my kids.
Volepower: Okay I will talk to you soon and say hi to them for me, Also I will send the replacement list very soon.
Emperor Petra: Alright my friend I talk to you soon goodbye and May the force guide us.
With the end of this call The Emperor found out that his real foothold in this galaxy is up and operational, and that his childhood friend is bored at his current posting and that he is looking for war and bloodshed which is never good. After the call and his quick conclusion thought of the call he made his way to his own quarters to change and to get rid of his Imperial Monarchs Make Up that he as to wear, which made him hid his true face from Anakin, Padme, Obi-wan and the Supreme Chancellor Palpatine as well as Count Dooku and Vice-Roy Gunray. The Imperial Monarchs Make Up of the Emperor is Black face paint and gold lines around his eyes, nose and Lips. Throughout the whole journey so far the Emperor has kept his face hiding from everyone with his black cloaked hood in similar style of Anakin's Jedi Robes but more regal looking with gold and dark blue linings. The Main colours of the Cartelin Empire are Black, Gold and Royal Blue so that is why he is dressed up in the Imperial Colours. After he got off his Make up and put on more comfortable attire for the dinner, he has decide to wear his Gold and Royal Blue top and his black pants with Royal Blue linings with black boots with gold linings all looking regal and without his make because this ship is for relaxing. While The Emperor was talking to Volepower, Alex, Cody and Claire were changing to more comfortable attire like their father, while Anakin and Padme were talking to each other.
Anakin: What do you think about all of this Padme?
Padme: In truth I am speechless all of this power and advance Technology. But can we trust him Anakin, Can we really trust the Emperor and his Empire Anakin. I am worried about him he came out of nowhere and wants to befriend us, I don't know but I got this feeling that I can't really explain.
Anakin: Have no fear Padme; we can trust him because he knows our secret.
Padme what do you mean he know? How does he know?
Anakin: He said that he can feel our love through the force and…
Padme: And what Anakin. What is it?
Anakin: He knows that I have darkness in my heart and he also knew about my mother's death. He is very in tunes with the force Padme. When I went up to his personal Mediation Room I felt like that I had full access to the force in that room. Padme I trust him not just because that he knows our secret but the force is telling to trust him.
Padme: I hope you are right about this.
Anakin: Trust me have I ever let you down.
Padme: Don't really want me to answer that, but no you have never let me down and I do trust you. I love you so much Anakin. With him knowing our secret and that this ships is meant for us to be relaxed and free right.
Anakin: Right I love so much as well Padme. I am so glad that we can be free here (knock knock knock) Yes I will be right there. (Then walks to the door to answer it)
Alex: Just letting you know it is time to go to the dining room.
Anakin: Alright thank you we will be right there. Padme it is all most dinner time.
Padme: Okay I am ready let's get going.
As everyone made their way to the dining room for the first time in a long time the Emperor was not late for he was already as the dining room waiting for them. But this time Anakin and Padme can see that he looks different for they now can see his face and his eyes, before all they saw of the Emperor was an black face with gold paint on his nose and on his lip, but not his eyes which made things uneasy. But now the way he looks now make him look younger than they thought at first. He looks are Dark Blonde Hair, Dark Blue Eyes and a very mature looking face that has the look of wisdom. But his Eyes tell an different story. As the saying goes the Eyes are the windows to the soul. So does his eyes, which show an long life span of pain and hardship but also the clarity of mind. But when the Emperor stood up his full build and size was finally revealed because before the whole time he was wearing his Royal Cloak that somehow hid his full build, size and Height. His Height was just an few inches taller than Anakin, His Build showed a lot of hard work and power, and his size was more close to a nice strong body with an 4 pack of abs that they are guessing.
Anakin: what is with the different look my friend it is an good look but different.
Emperor Petra: I took of the Make up because this is an place of relaxation and I thought it was about you saw my real face and body. Please come and have an seat please choose any seat.
So Alex and Cody took the seats by the Emperor sides with the Emperor at the head of the table. Claire sat by Alex's side and Padme sat next to Cody side of the table with Anakin At the other end of the end of the table.
Anakin: Thank you for the clothes and the quarters and thank you for choosing me to be the General in charge of the Military relations.
Emperor Petra: That quite aright my Friends. Chef McAfee will be serving us diner again.
Padme: Good I liked her cooking.
Chef McAfee: For tonight meal we have Chicken Parmigiana or a Chicken and Corn Pie with and side of Salads. And for drinks the same as last time.
Emperor Petra: I will have the Chicken Parmigiana please with an side of salad and my usual drink please.
Alex: I will have the Pie please with a drink of wine.
Cody: I will have the Chicken Parmigiana with wine as well.
Claire: I will have the Chicken Parmigiana as well with just some water.
Padme: I would love to try the Pie to please with an glass of Iced Tea please.
Anakin: For me I would get the Chicken Parmigiana with the Salad on the side with an glass of Iced Tea as well Thank you.
Chef McAfee: Dinner will be in 20 minutes Sire and I will send the drinks up right away.
Emperor Petra: Thank you so much Chef McAfee.
Chef McAfee that is quite alright I am glad to cook for you and your guests.
Emperor Petra: Now then my friends what questions do you have for me?
Padme: How do you know of Anakin's an I's secret?
Emperor Petra: well I do not need the help of the force to tell me that you too are in love please I can sense the love Radiating from the both of you.
Anakin: can you tell me more of the Sidithen way of the force?
Emperor Petra: of course I can my young friends. The Sidithen Race is a race that follows and uses the force. However we don't use the dark side or the light of the force. We use the force on the border of the force it's self both dark and light. All force users are to be balanced with the force inside the souls. Some of course stray from the path of the order of the force, but that is nature in general and the will of the force. At times the force calls for a great evil to fight a great good. Why you might ask my friends because the force work in strange ways. In this galaxy the force is in flux, I can feel the unbalance of the force here and it has to be balanced. But that too is a problem.
Anakin: Why is that a problem?
Emperor Petra: Because this Galaxy is meant to be consumed in darkness in order for the balance to be made. I have seen it I am afraid that Your Republic will fall into darkness and the only true hope will be with us and two powerful beings.
Padme: (shocked and horrified by the statement) If the Republic is destined to fall then why are you allying with us and helping us.
Emperor Petra: To add more hope for later on.
Anakin: If you can see our future, then can you see how it falls and can we change it?
Emperor Petra: I cannot see how it falls. I can only see it fallen. I will be 100% honest with you right now. At the beginning of the is journey it was for revenge for what the Jedi did you my People.
Anakin: What do you mean? Are you saying that is whole journey was for revenge? And what did the Jedi Do to your People?
Emperor Petra: Once an upon a time over 3000 years ago my people were from here in your galaxy at first we were simple people but we had a bit of Rakata DNA in our blood and we also had their technology at hand. When the Great War finally start between The Old Republic And the New Sith Empire the Jedi came down from Tython at first we welcomed them, however when the war taken the turn of the worse for the Republic the Jedi came back and demanded our Rakata technology but we refused because they needed our people to use it for it was part of our DNA to use it.
So the Jedi left went back to their ships in orbit and opened fire on us the great city was destroyed we had lost an whole continent of people 200 Million people lost Murdered after the Great City was lost what was left of our people felled to the Rakata ships for we had to because at the capital there was an powerful generator that powered the whole planet. When that blown the whole planet was about erupted so we ran up to the star with 500 million people. We were about to enter hyperspace to Dromund Kaas to join the empire to get but at the Jedi but when the planet blew up the shock wave and the power of the explosion sent us flying straight into what is Now our home Galaxy for 3000 years we had conquered our home galaxy and after we had built the largest fleet for one purpose to destroy the Jedi And the Republic it defends. Over the Years we have sent very long range senores to scout the Galaxy and to learn all about you and what is happening. Good, Dinner is here thank you (said to one of the servers)
Anakin: Thank you. That was some story. What changed your mind?
Emperor Petra: A certain dead Jedi by the name of Master Qui-Gon Jinn?
Anakin: What! (Said while chocking on his meal) How? When? Why?
Emperor Petra: Remember why I said that I had meditated 5 months straight around the end I had an visit from him saying that my revenge was not needed and that the force itself has chosen me to help Balanced the force and to help the Chosen One. Have Heard of the Father, The Daughter and the Son?
Anakin: yes I have met them but they are gone now one with the force.
Emperor Petra: I know I felt the passing. I to have met them, the Father wanted my help to bring peace and the Balance in this galaxy.
Anakin: How? And Why?
Emperor Petra: Why? I have no idea why the force has chosen me to balance this galaxy maybe because how I brought the balance back at my home. As for the how I to have no idea but I will follow the Force In all its forms.
Anakin: oh I see. Let's hope the force is on our side. Nice Food I love this Chicken Parmigiana and Iced Tea.
Emperor Petra: Thank you we will have her cooking for the whole trip
Padme: Mm good food indeed. Pet how does your Politician System work.
Emperor Petra: I think I will leave this question to you Claire.
Claire: Right thank you Dad. The workings of our Political System are this. At every Planetary System there is a governor, and every 5 Planetary Systems they elect a Consul of the People's Council, Which is similar to your Senate. There over 2000 Planetary Systems and that equals to 500 Consul's which is the full size of the People's Council. Dad here chooses 12 Consuls which mainly are adviser to The Emperor as well as the key admiration that runs the day to day operations the Government. When Dad was at home every day the People Council would come to session with Dad and /or Mum overseeing the Council. When Dad or Mum puts a bill thought the People's council guess how many people would vote against it when they don't like the bill.
Padme: I guess nine out of fear of losing the Emperor's favour.
Anakin: I guess the same as Padme.
Claire: you are both wrong. When the Consuls that didn't like Mum's or Dad's bill they do vote against. Because Dad demands the whole truth.
Emperor Petra: That is true, I hate yes-men. If I make a mistake I want to be told and not just from my family.
Padme: What about Corruption?
Emperor Petra: Like in any government there will be corruption in any form. However when corruption is discovered the ones guilty would be sent to the Slave Camps.
Anakin: WHAT?! You have slavery? (Said with shock and angry)
Emperor Petra: (sensing angry over this topic) Yes we do. BUT only Criminals & War Prisoners. If you did a level 3 and above crime you go into slavery, but of in any case it depend on the reason of the crime was done like if some was force to pull the trigger of a blaster and was force to kill then the person would be innocent to the courts. However if this person was guilty then he/she would get enslaved. I with 100% DO NOT BELIVE IN ENSLAVING INNOCENT PEOPLE. Anyway I also believe….( then Captain Hector Call the Emperor over the holo-caller)
Captain Hector: My apologies sire for interrupting you sir but you are needed on the bridge.
Emperor Petra: (Sign) On my way (Said over the holo-caller as well as ending the Call) Please Excuse me.
The Emperor gets up and makes his way to the Bridge to find what is going on while also feeling a sense of danger from somewhere.
Emperor Petra: What is Captain Hector?
Captain Hector: Sire our course has changed. We are now heading towards a nearby system.
Emperor Petra: What why, what is happening? Contact the Resolute.
Captain Hector: We tried Sir but their ship cannot commutate thought hyperspace, Also our sensors have detected a group of ships in battle, I would bet that is The Separatist ships fighting against the Republic ships.
Emperor Petra: What? So we are heading into a battle. Hmm Contact the Escorts frigates and order them to prepare of battle. I am going to talk our guests and ask them why this is happening. Oh and have my Personal Fighter Ready I think it is time to show them my piloting skills. And have one ready of Master Skywalker as well.
Captain Hector: SIR YES SIR!
