A week had passed and Inuyasha had now finally moved in with Koga. It wasn't easy at first; they ended up getting into a few fights about what to do with Inuyasha's stuff which lead to a few bigger arguments about why he was moving into Koga's apartment and not Koga moving into his. In the end though when Inuyasha was finally settled in they could both breathe a sigh of relief and finally enjoy this new part of their relationship.

During the day Koga went to go manage his night club and Inuyasha ran his book store. Since they rarely needed him at nights he thought he would get to spend them with Inuyasha, but the white haired man went out somewhere at least twice a week. Inuyasha ran a bookstore, so why did he have to pull all-nighters twice a week. It didn't make sense to him at all; the seed of suspicion was planted in Koga's mind.

As for his enemy Phantom Blade he still had no leads. In fact there has been no more sightings or robberies by said criminal since his last theft of the Shikon jewel, it seems like he just disappeared.

Currently Koga was patrolling the city tonight as Lightning Wolf, since Inuyasha was spending the night doing who knows what at his store. He was trying to find any sort of sign to the whereabouts of his arch enemy, secretly hoping for him to commit another robbery. It just seemed odd that he was gone now, after all criminals don't just quit, most of them have an insatiable desire to commit crimes or steal what doesn't belong to them. It was another enigma that didn't make sense to him.

While he currently stood atop a building overlooking the city he noticed a helicopter approaching. At first Koga thought it would just pass by, but then it landed on the same roof top as him. He became curious when an old man appeared to have stepped out wearing a suit. The man came up and approached Koga offering his hand out to shake.

"It's a pleasure to meet you mister Lightning Wolf" the old man said shaking Koga's hand.

"Who the hell are you?" Koga asked staring at the old geezer suspiciously.

"My name is Myoga and I represent a very important individual who wants to meet with you" the old man said.

"Who?"

"My master goes by the name Z"

"Really sounds like bull shit to me"

"I assure you sir it's not", Myoga said pulling a card out of his pocket and handing it to Koga. "Please come to the address on the card this Saturday at eleven p.m., I guarantee it will be worth your time". With that Myoga got back into the helicopter and left Koga alone.

Koga looked down at the card in his hand. It was solid black with silver font, and the only print the entire card had on it was an address and the word 'Archangel'.

Inuyasha was busy setting things up for this weekend. He currently sat in a large circular room covered with big monitors and computer screens in an unknown location; he was keeping himself busy with the finishing touches of his Archangel project. It took a couple years and careful planning with his brother Sesshomaru, but they had finally got the 'Archangel' organization going. Inuyasha used all the money he made from his robberies to get the building, set up the technology systems, as well as make deals with all the nations' governments. Now everything was in place. This whole time that Inuyasha was stealing priceless artifacts for the money, what he actually was up to was trying to build a fortune so he could one day create this organization.

The purpose of 'Archangel' is to coordinate as many super beings as possible to respond to any and all threats in a timely and organized fashion around the globe. After what happened to his mother, Inuyasha vowed to find a way to make sure that no one else would end up like that by creating an organization that would change the world for the better.

Now that he had the buildings and satellite networks built around the world all that was left was to find the super humans to join. First he would start with his home city. He invited several to the first meeting this weekend. The Wind Tunnel, after his defeat of the villain Naraku, he became an obvious choice.

Next was the Wind Witch, she has done excellent work in saving multiple lives, in fact she once acted as a spy while pretending to work for Naraku, supplying the authorities with info that put a stop to many of his evil experiments. She also had the ability to harness the wind and use it like a weapon.

Next he invited the White Shield; she was a very kind and powerful girl that had the unique ability to create impenetrable force fields that she mostly used to protect people from natural disaster.

Lastly he invited the Lightning Wolf. At first he didn't want to bring him into this after all that guy has tried to hinder him at every robbery he committed, however Lightning Wolf has done a lot of good work, like when he first rose to fame apprehending the entire Band of Seven by himself.

Now everything was set up he would get to meet them all this weekend. However he had to keep his identity a secret, going by the code name 'Z' and speaking to them through a monitor screen when he met them tomorrow.

THE FOLLOWING EVENING

Koga walked up to the recently constructed building wearing his costume as Lighting Wolf. He entered into a lobby area with a large elevator on the back wall and was greeted by the old man Myoga that gave him the invitation here.

"So glad you decided to make it mister Lighting Wolf, my master will be pleased" the suited old man spoke.

"Yeah I'm here, so where is this master of yours?" Koga asked glancing around suspiciously.

"He will speak with you and the others soon, please enter the elevator to the meeting room"

"Others?" Koga questioned. Myoga told him that all would be explained soon, so Koga deiced to throw caution to the wind and find out what all this was about. Entering the elevator Koga pressed the only button available and then waited for it to take him to where ever this meeting was.

The elevator finally opened and he was greeted to the sight of a large rectangular table with three other people all facing a large television screen. He sat down next to the person he recognized as his friend Miroku dressed in his alter ego.

"So you got and invite too" Koga whispered.

"Yes though I'm just as surprised to see you here" his friend replied. Koga looked over and nodded politely to the two women. They were the legendary Wind Witch and White Shield. He never met the Wind Witch, but White Shield was a girl named Shiori that worked in his night club as a waitress.

"Does either of you ladies know why we are here?" he asked the two women shook their heads not knowing themselves. Just then the screen in front of them came on with a large red letter 'Z' displayed in an elegant font.

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen" the electronically distorted voice spoke, "I am the one who invited you all here for a special purpose".

"Who are you?" Koga demanded.

"And why aren't you meeting us in person?" the Wind Witch added.

"You may call me Z and as for why I can't be here in person is because the nature of this organization requires a high level of secrecy" the voice now identified as Z spoke.

"What exactly is this Archangel organization, mister Z?" Miroku asked what everyone else was thinking.

"The purpose of 'Archangel' is to coordinate as many of you super beings as possible to respond to any and all threats in a timely and organized fashion" Z explained to them all, "Basically it's a top secret global peace keeping force".

"And you want us to be a part of this Archangel" Koga finished for their mysterious host.

"Correct"

"So what do you get out of this, our true identities?" the Wind Witch asked with suspicion.

"Of course not, none of you are required to reveal that information, the only thing I want is your willingness to follow my commands so we can make the world a better place" Z said. They all sat there contemplating this.

"Alright I'm in" Koga was the first to speak up, he was impressed by this and also kicking himself for not thinking of it. This Z guy had a point, they may have super human abilities, but they weren't perfect, they couldn't be everywhere at once. Not everyone got saved; Z and his Archangel program could possibly change that.

"Excellent, does anybody else wish to join?"

"I'll work for you" Miroku said.

"Me too" Wind Witch responded.

"Count me in too!" the White Shield exclaimed.

"Thank you all for joining, and welcome to Archangel, Myoga please pass out the communicators" as he said this, the old man that welcomed them down stairs came in holding a metal case. Myoga opened the case and handed them all a black touchpad phone device. On the back of each them was a number in silver. Koga looked at his and noticed that it had the number one on it.

"Our communicators have the numbers one through four on them, why is that?" Miroku asked.

"That is because you four are the first to join, but soon there will be many of us" Z said.

"What, we're the first to join?" Koga asked surprised that he was one of the first people considered for this organization.

"Yes, congratulations you four are the first Archangels"

Sorry for the gap in updates, but I decided to take a little break after I finished Eclipse.

So Inuyasha's plan is finally revealed, no more beating around the bush for me. Unfortunately the name Avengers and Justice League was already taken so I had to come up with Archangels for my story. If its already being used by someone else I'm sorry but it took forever to come up with a good name for the group so it stays. FYI this story is getting close to the end.

Thank you for reading again sorry for the wait.
