A/N: Hey, sorry this took so long, and it's so short. I actually had so much happening that I forgot that people still read anything I wrote. But now that I'm back, I'm going to be updating more often and my writing is also much better than it used to be. I also plan on revising the original story Custos High School.
Speaking of original stories, if you wouldn't mind, you should all check out my new story on fictionpress. It's called I Spy A Thief and It's under the same user name. Thank you to anyone still reading anything I write, I promise I still love you all.
Kisses,
~Chiyuki-Chan
Jack shot up, panting, he felt the cool tracks on his face that made it obvious he was crying. It took him a moment to realize that someone had their arm around him, and Jack pulled away harshly, falling onto the ground in his need to escape.
He covered his face with his arms in a defensive manner, and pulled his knees to his chest.
"Please, I'm sorry for crying, please don't hurt me anymore." He begged, pushing further against the wall.
Aster sat there, stuck in place. At some point he had turned on the light, and he could see the way that Jack's shoulders were trembling violently. He seemed to be rocking himself in what must have been a comforting way.
"Jack, mate, it's just me." He tried, "It's Aster." He said, crawling ever so slowly over to Jack.
After what seemed like an hour, but was probably only a minute, Jack's blue eyes peaked in between his arms. His shoulders untensed as recognition crossed his face, followed quickly by more tears. Aster didn't even have time to prepare as Jack flung himself into his arms.
"Easy there mate, no one's going to hurt you now, your safe." He said, rocking Jack lightly. His light blonde, really more white, hair tickled his nose, and he normally would have found that cute, except in this situation.
"Please, don't let h-him hurt me anymore." Aster figured now was as good a time as any to start getting answers.
"Who Jackie?" He asked, shushing him as he tensed in this arms. Jack pulled closer and clutched tighter to Aster's t-shirt. "Who's going to hurt you?" He asked again.
"P-Pitch, he-" Jack let out a sob. "I-I didn't have any money, it was right after my sister died, I couldn't pay for the apartment, so he-he-" Jack couldn't talk over the sobs. Aster figured out what he was trying to say, but he needed Jack to tell him.
"What did he do?" He asked.
"He made me p-pay in a-another way." He trembled as he spoke.
"Jack, tell me, what exactly did he do?" Aster wasn't sure he really wanted to know.
"He r-raped me." Jack said, the tears stopping and his eyes hardening. It was like it was his first time admitting it to anyone, which, Aster realized, it probably was.
"Shhh, everything's okay now, I'm not going to let him hurt you." Aster promised. "I'm going to protect you." He swore, as much to himself as to Jack.
"You will?" Jack asked, his voice so quiet it broke Aster's heart.
"Yeah, I will."
Jack smiled, his eyes still hard, but lighting. "Thank you." He said, his eyes closing and his breath evening out. Aster kissed Jack lightly on the head, pulling him closer to his chest.
Aster silently swore to himself that if he ever laid eyes on Pitch he would kill that bastard.
But for now, all they needed was sleep. Aster stood, Jack cradled in his arms, and made his way over to the king sized bed. He knew that it would be a bad idea to make Jack sleep alone tonight.
Tucking him under the covers, Aster flipped off the light again, and pulled Jack to his chest.
He kissed his head once more before he whispered: "I love you, Jack." and falling back into a deep, dreamless sleep.
