The wonderful feeling of wind blowing in my face again. Delsin and I were making our way back to the House, me with my Ice-launch and him with Light-speed. I noticed that he doesn't use Concrete to travel much, but I guess it's just not efficient enough.

"Hey, Delsin." I stopped on top of a building and turned to him.

"Yeah?"

"Y'know, now that I have more than one power..." I stopped for a moment, thinking about how to ask my question, "Could you - like - teach me how to change powers without absorbing energy sources?"

"Duuuude..." He gave me a look as if he was about to kill me, Shit... please don't kill me! He carried on glaring at me, "Why're you so nervous?" A mischievous smile quickly replaced his death-stare.

I chuckled in response, "I guess I'm more of a thinker than a talker."

"Well..." He rubbed his chin, thinking of an answer to my previous question "It just came instinctively, I didn't even notice what I had done until a few minutes after. Now it's just natural, I think of the power I want to use and then I can use it. The only setback is that my power-levels stay the same, they don't restart or something whenever I switch." He hopped onto the next building and I followed with an ice-launch, not confident enough to not use my powers - even if the gap was only a few feet - which was stupid considering that the fall wouldn't exactly hurt me.

"Hey, wait, doesn't that mean that - like - you can absorb... say Smoke, for example, and then switch to Neon. So, you don't even have to absorb Neon to use it."

He brooded on this for a second, "Yeah, I guess I can. I never thought of that before," he patted my shoulder, "sooo; it doesn't matter what I absorb, I can use any power-source for any power... yeah! Not much of a setback then!" He smiled at this and carried on hopping from building to building until he had to use a smoke dash.

When we were about ten minutes away from the house, Delsin's phone started ringing (which reminded me that I also need a phone, mine had disappeared when I arrived in inFAMOUS).

"'sup Abi?" He answered the phone. I couldn't hear Fetch's voice on the other side but, by the way Delsin winced, I could tell that she didn't appreciate her new nickname. "Yeah we're on our way. Yeah. Bye." He turned to me. "Remember that guy I talked to on Kuo's phone, the one I said we can trust?"

"Yeah...?"

"He just phoned Kuo and told them that he's gonna be at the house in fifteen to twenty minutes."

"Heyyy." Delsin complained when Fetch kicked him in the ankle as soon as he opened the front door.

"You know what that was for!" She fumed before calming down and giving her boyfriend a quick peck on the lips. "I'm still mad, by the way, that kiss meant nothing." She added before walking away.

"Damn! That girl!" He mumbled to himself when he thought she was out of earshot.

"I heard that!"

Delsin chuckled, walking towards the (huge) kitchen to get something to drink. I followed him inside to see if I could find a snack in one of the cupboards and, after a bit of rummaging, found a bag of 'Cheetos' which tasted like discount Wotsits. I had finished half of my snack when I heard Delsin.

"No." He whispered in horror.

"What's wrong?" I asked, my mouth full of Cheetos. He turned to me and his face was a mask of pure terror. "Shit, Delsin... what's wrong?" I repeated.

"There's still two jugs." He pulled two large, plastic jugs out of the fridge. They were filled with lemonade. Fetch's homemade lemonade. Another way of saying... poison. We looked at each other in horror. Then we burst out laughing and Delsin put the lemonade back in the fridge.

"What's so funny?" Somebody asked from behind us. We both turned to meet the cold stare of Lucy Kuo and promptly stopped laughing.

"Lemonade." Delsin answered and Kuo shook her head at his reply.

"Zeke should have arrived by now." She said, flicking her hair to one side.

"Ah. So that's his name." Delsin said. Just then the doorbell rang and Fetch was at the door within a second of the sound.

"Speak of the devil." I muttered.

Fetch walked into the kitchen, followed by a particularly fat man wearing a blue jacket, unzipped, over a white t-shirt that had the words "Fuck You" written on it, and a pair of sunglasses with orange-tinted lenses covered his eyes.

Zeke Jedediah Dunbar. (Only his mom calls him Jedediah.)

A woman walked in behind him, probably in her late twenties, and I could immediately tell she was a Conduit. Her silvery-white hair slowly billowed around as if there was a strong wind and her identically coloured eyes radiated light. Her skin was also pale, though not white like her hair and eyes, and light-gray coloured energy flickered and pulsed along it. She wore clothes similar to Kuo's - A black-leather trenchcoat, that was long enough to trail half a meter behind her, over a dark shirt and leather combat-trousers. But the large backpack that she held in one hand caught my eye. It looked really heavy and she had left the zip open.

"Alice!" Kuo couldn't contain her excitement when she saw the woman, she ran towards her and wrapped her arms around her shoulders in a tight hug. The woman chuckled, her voice sounded like it was echoing, although that was obviously impossible. Alice pulled away from the hug and Kuo then hugged Zeke before breaking away and turning back to the white-haired woman, "Any luck with Nix?" she asked. Alice and Zeke exchanged a look before she answered.

"No... She died when she fought the Beast. This book," Alice pulled out a paperback book titled Come Closer, "When she was in this book, I captured a sliver of her being. But... It's nowhere near enough to bring her back. The only thing I've been able to accomplish is summoning her powers which have actually proved to quite useful."

"Saved my hide a few times." Zeke commented. He didn't sound as carefree as he did in the games. In fact, he sounded a lot more serious.

"What, did you get into trouble?" Kuo asked, her brow furrowed in concern. Alice sighed.

"Sasha."

Sorry for leaving it there. That wasn't meant to be the ending but I thought WTH. Again, don't forget to review!
PEACE!
