Chapter 7
Small white particles leap out of the single light was imbedded in the tiny room's ceiling. Yet even with the light source in couldn't reach the metal sliding door and the back of the room still was grasped by the shadows hiding what laid behind.
The square shaped light lay in the reversed beveled light socket. It acted like a trench as the socket was in the shape of a square's outline. The Florescent light built traveled the entire route as it lay hidden. Only giving a more ambient air to the entire room with the gray rooms having more a white glow.
I n the back of the room lay a single six foot wide double decker bed that fit pixel perfect in back. Molded the white structure merged the left and with the back like a nook in the wall. The bottom bed sat low and blended with the floor like a bench2. The second one was hoisted up higher than the first one by only five feet. Under the white mattress was crisscrossing white beams that held the upper bed in place.
"I. WANT. OUT!" an enraged young teen screamed. The low and young pitched voice was drowned out by a metallic clang that echoed on the white sliding metal door. The door rested two inches deep in the flush door frame. Along the top corners was two forty-five degree fillets3 that ran a little a six inches long.
Shinning silver eyes glowed righter than any of the purest chrome in the iris4 of her eyes. The young sixteen year old brought her arm back to punch the door with her fire encased hand.
"Quit punching the door," A male voice commanded the girl.
The silver eyed teen twirled around to face the voice that came from the lower bunk. Her green eyes locked with the red ones that glowed through the shadows.
"Roxy, it is not worth it. No one is going to be getting us out." The quiet male voice spoke.
Hissing through her teeth. "We don't belong here. None of this should have happened to us!" Roxy clenched her fist tight as she gazed over to her friend.
Ryuu twisted his body under the shadows. "I have a question for you then. Even if we break out of this room? What then?"
"We break out."
"How? That purpled haired scientist is really accurate with his damn senbon11 needles!" Ryuu growled.
Flinching Roxy put her hand to her left elbow. 'I guess he is right.'
"So you all want out?" Male, and older male voice breached their minds to make them flinch. Roxy twisted her head to see the door slide open with a hiss. A male with black hair stepped forward with his blue eyes looking right at Roxy.
The six foot tall older teen smiled gently as he gazed over the others in the room. His black hair was cut short and simple that went will with his loose black vest. Underneath the unzipped black vest was a dark green long sleeved shirt that reached his wrist.
Below his shirt he wore a set of black cargo shorts. His shoe's black outsole4 of the shoes held its deep black coloring the wet grass as the black crept up and around the sides of the shoes to meet a hard transition into the dark green midsole line that wrapped around the outside of the shoe from the bottom of the back of the heel and went travel around on both side s of the shoes to reach the front of the shoe as they thing into the white that took the rest of his tennis shoes.
"So," Ryuu slowly spoke. "Who are you? Some new recruit for the bast-"
"RYUU!" Roxy shrieked.
"Fuck no," the male cursed which made Roxy flinch. "Names Jack and today is your lucky day for the three of you." Jack shook his head before looking up at the higher bed. Speaking up, he asked. "Ryuu and Alyssa, mind stepping into the light so I can see you?" He asked. Quietly he step through the door into the room to allow it to close.
"How do you know our names?" Two legs sung out from the top bunk and had the newcomer come land on the ground. Alyssa stepped out to get bathed under the small light.
"So you going to get us out of here?" She exclaimed with great excitement.
Jack shook his head and crossed his arms. "No, although I personally know someone else who is stuck in here that I can get you three to and then you can get out."
"Why not do it yourself?" Ryuu asked deadpanned. Slowly he stepped into the light to stand next to Alyssa.
'An Arcanine anthro.' The blue eyed male noted. "Well this person who can get you all out is," Jack paused. "Once you find this person. Your escape is practically guaranteed."
Taking her arms into the air, Roxy waved them into the cross. "Wait!" She hissed. Lowering her arms back to her sides she clenched them and hissed. "Why don't you help us get out or take us with you?"
"I got my own shit to deal with and you three are not on my list of people to help." Jack harshly responded with his crossed arms.
"Because you don't want to deal with these three." A lone angel like voice retorted in Jack's mind.
"So we are bait." All three turned their head to look at Ryuu.
Jack sighed. "Does it matter?" He pinched his nose. "I can tell you how to get out and the whole layout of this building." His blue eyes shifted over to Roxy. Jack using his left hand to tap the girl's forehead. "In that cell you'll find Shinimi and tell him that Jack Midnight will pay him back later."
Roxy winced. "You couldn't warn me about that?!" She almost shrieked.
Jack lowered his arm before he breather out. "No I don't have the time." He took a step backwards to make the door once again slide open. Turning around he looked over his shoulder once again. "Besides, I know you can do it."
'Our ticket out of here!' Roxy thought excited as she ran through the halls with her two friends. Farther up a head the hall had a branching path on the right side that create a T shaped intersection. Not bothering to stop, Roxy barred forwards. Alyssa followed her close behind yet right as her friend crossed the middle of the joining hallways a green and white blur collided with her friend.
Force, Roxy gasped for air as she and the unknown forced her into the wall.
"Sorry!" A light voice squeaked. Roxy falling on her rear and had her knees bent underneath herself. Looking down she saw a little green haired girl in a white dress.
Her red eyes watered as she looked at Roxy. "That's fine," Roxy replied as the green haired teen got off of Gijinka Fusion, "Can I have your name?" She requested with a smile.
"Tsuki Kasume," The Kirlia Gijinka answered.
Ryuu stopped running behind the shorter teen. "Roxy, lets hurry." Ryuu crossed his arms. "If we want to get out then we need to hurry."
"Take me with you!" Tsuki demanded as she motioned with her hands.
"Fine by me." Roxy informed them. Looking around she saw the others nod in agreement. "We need to hurry and it looks like you are coming with us." Roxy nodded at Tsuki.
Smiling the girl turned her head to the right to look down the hall. Her red eyes shifted over to see the other start moving again. Placing her arm in front of her mouth she released a loud cough. A red liquid escaped her mouth to stain her white sleeve.
"Tsuki!"
Tsuki looked up to see Roxy's shocked face. "You…"
"Don't worry about it." Tsuki stressed. "It's no big deal." Lowering her right arms she shifted her being past the others and twirled round on her foot. "Let's just leave before anyone finds us."
"Right fine," Roxy sighed with closed eyes. Opening them she spoke up. "Down this hall there is supposed to be stairs that lead to where we need to go."
"The stairs are just up a head!" Roxy called back to the others behind her. Alyssa nodded while Ryuu only grunted.
Over two hundred feet away the white hall ended with its stairwell on the right side of the hallway's end.
The red door frame extruded two inches from the walls surface with it four inch wide face. The metal white door sat comfortably in its frame.
Electric yellow, a yellow bolt generated from down near the door. A small sparking sphere jolted with electricity before a lighting strike extended out of the sphere. Cracking and sparking its shot bore straight to the steel fire fusion.
Tsuki's red eyes flashed a bright neon before her entire body broke into particles. Each of the white pieces of dust dissolved before they regenerated a few feet in front of Roxy. Bit by bit, her center body was formed followed by her arms and legs before she was fully formed.
As she formed Roxy slide to a complete stop as dread covered her face. The lighting shot and connected with her horn in her chest. As the yellow voltage covered the gleaming horn it's shattered like glass. Continuing the energy dug a hole in her chest which led to three things. Tsuki snapped her head back into the air as her gasping mouth let out an unnatural amount of blood. All the while more blood shot out of the edge of the hole in her chest like a spinning sprinkler.
Finally the back half of her spike shatter like the right of her horn with the voltage ending in a small tip as if it was a blade as it finished creating the hole. This led to some blood to rip out of her back. All sound was voided as Tsuki crumbled to the floor. Her limp body fell leftward as the yellow energy dissipated.
"Like hell I'll let you get there." An electric male voice called out in front of them. Ryuu stopped along with Alyssa. Starring at the teen who just placed her hands in his pockets.
"Gale," Ryuu growled. "What the hell are you doing here?"
Gale only smirked.
Alyssa red eyes started to water and wet as tears fell out of the corners of her eyes. Shaking she could only stared right into Gale's electric eyes. 'He… he… he… killed.. her…' She mentally stuttered.
Red, the whites of her eyes redden as rivers of tear tour out of her silver eyes. "You killed her…." Roxy's face palmed as the blood continued to pour out of her just met companion. "Why?!" Her eyes watered as she shook her head. "YOU DAMN JERK!" Her raising voice screamed as she lunched herself straight at Gale. With her legs in a running position as held her right fist shoulder high she moved with a running punch.
Red, near blue colored flames sparked into life around her flying fist. Gale blinked right as the fist hit him straight and centered. Flames erupted around the impact zone to force Gale back a few feet.
Roxy flipped over in midair as she ended her punch to land on her feet. Not even bothering to look back behind she called out. "Alyssa, Ryuu get to the stairs. I'll follow you in a few."
"Like hell I'll let you!" Gale yelled as yellow sparks flew out of his fists. "There is no way that I'll let—"
He never finished, Roxy had her whole body morph as once again clenched her right hand tight. Blazing hot flames encased her metallic claws. "THEY ARE GOING THROUGH!" She screaked as she launched forwards she pulled back her hand only to let it loose as he flamed fist collided with Gale.
His clothes started to singe while he was forced into the wall. "Come on lets go," Ryuu told Alyssa.
The lack of light seemed to hinder Ryuu's eye yet his companion had no problem as she looked around the tall stair well. White, the walls and the stairs held its colorless appearance. Yet that was not the most interesting. The interesting part was it felt more like an art sculpture that stairs. Single white flat boards acted as stairs. These single boards never connected with each other and only had one of its short narrow faces attached to the walls of the well. The only Plank that was attached to more than just one wall was the landing5.
Glowing red, the railing was a flat vertical surface that appeared to be glass. The interesting part was that it never touch any of the steps as it lined the entire inside of the stair well. This prevented people from falling off the steps.
Looking up she could see the well reach up another six stories while as she looked over the red rails made of light she should see that it reached down another six more stories.
"Come on let's go!" Alyssa spoke to her friend.
Ryuu turned his head back to the door. "We are not leaving her."
Fear, 'CRAP!' Roxy mentally scream as she dodged left a lighting coated fist right past the side of her face. Stepping over just enough in the process Gale entered a barrel roll to land without injury back near the door. 'How am I going to beat him?' She cursed as she panted. 'I never fought before!'
Taking a step back she looked up at Gale who smirked. "You are not go to get away." He spoke as he generated yellow sparks in his hand.
"Why," Roxy panted as a bit of blood left a cut on her shoulder. "Why do you fight us!? You should be helping us! Didn't they kidnap you too?"
"I don't care," Gale laughed. "All I want is a good fight."
"Then that is just depressing," a monotone voice spoke out from behind Gale. A hand chopped into the side of Gale's neck as the blow forced him to the ground.
"RYUU!" Roxy gasped. "I told you and Alyssa to go ahead!"
Scratching the back of his head with his right hand. "Like hell I am going to just leave you here." He turned around and looked over his shoulder. "Come on lets go."
Black dark and red. The shadows eat away the next to none existent light that covered the entire hallway. A red striped traveled along the lower quarter of the black walls being only one and a half feet from the floor.
"He's in here," Roxy spoke out loud as she led her two new friends through the cells. Stopping she turned her head to look in a cell. "Shinimi?" She called into the cell.
"Who the hell are you," The male asked.
Roxy winced as she pointed to herself, "Names Roxy, and this is Alyssa and Ryuu." She introduced herself and pointed to each of the three in sequence.
"How did you three brats even get out and loose?" Shinimi popped the question.
"Eh..." Roxy stuttered. "Jack let us out."
The red eyes went wide. "Jack?" Shinimi hissed. "As in Jack Midnight?" He spat the out the name like a curse.
The three gulped. 'Does these two hate each other?' Alyssa thought scared as she put her hand to her mouth.
"Yes." Roxy truthfully answered as she prepared herself.
"So that bastard of a cousin doesn't even come to help me," Shinimi laughed as she stepped up to the cell door. "And sends three weak kids."
Ryuu took a chance to look at the Zoroark fusion Gijinka. "Will I guess that is true," he sighed. "Roxy can you let him out?"
Snapping out the blank state Roxy held a neutral face as she nodded before punching in the code to unlock the cell door. Waiting she watched Shinimi step out of his cell.
Looking at the three kids he smiled. "Aright I will help you get outta here."
Roxy smiled alone with her two friends. "Thank you for helping us," the girl thanked the fusion.
Shinimi smirked as he looked over the three, "No problem, but before you guide us out of here." He paused for a few seconds before he continued. "I need to give you three something." Reaching out he tapped Roxy's forehead as he chatted something under his breathe. Right as he finished he brought his hand back from Roy's forehead. Right as he did she started to fall forward much to the dismay of her friends. Catching her Shinimi rested her against a cell door on the other side of the hall.
"What did you do to her?" Alyssa demanded.
"It's a gift," Shinimi answered in a low tone. "One that I don't think you three should deny." Smiling he gazed over at the other two. "After all, it'll help you get out of quite the deadly situations."
"Gale what happened?" Eric demanded the downed Luxray Gijinka.
"I got knocked out," Gale hissed as he rested again the white wall. Glancing over to the Kirlia Gijinka he sighed. "She jumped into my way as I tried strike the Blaskizen mutant."
"I personally don't care about her getting killed." Eric coldly breathed as his green eyes gazed over the poor girl. "It was a miracle that her core was able to hold up and not fall apart for this long."
"ERIC!" A female voice screamed.
"So while it was be nice if she lived," Eric continued "She wouldn't be any use as she would have been forced to live as a normal human."
"What do you mean?" Gale broke in with narrowed eyes.
"Emilie would have to alter her core to a point where most likely her human DNA would multiply and kill off most of her Pokémon DNA."
"You're joking right?" Sally broke in.
"No."
"This should be the exit." Roxy called out to the others as they walked through the white hallway. Her eyes went wide as she slid to a stop. "Why... Why are you there!?" She freaked as she saw who stood in the way of the door. Her other companions stopped right next to her side by side.
Shinimi growled as he starred at the purple haired scientist, "I can finally kill you." He hissed as he put his hands out to block the younger kids from stepping forward. Lowering his hands they started to glow a black fog as it formed into a more clawed shape. The black clouds originated at the tips of his fingers as it flowed back over his fingers like rushing water.
The pink eyed man smiled as put his right hand in a fist in front of his face. And in-between with of his fingers was a single needle. "Like hell am, I going to let you all leave without a fight." He twisted his wrist before he outright threw all three needles into Shinimi's left shoulder.
Gasping Shinimi hissed as he dispersed into black mist letting the three pin needle drop to the ground with a clang.
Roxy stepped backwards with tears in her eyes. 'What happened?' She thought.
"You can't hide from me," Emile laughed as he let loose another needle so that it flew right past Roxy face and barely cut her right cheek. Along the cut a small about of blood slipped right out gently as her silver eyes was drawn right to the sight. Shaking her eyes along with the other two started to tremble and quake. Alyssa collapsed onto the ground as her legs gave out.
The single needle that flew past Roxy sliced through an unseen material behind her. Turning her head she watched the air ripple as black mist generated around a rippling air. Shifting into view Shinimi once again stood in the view of the kids eyes. "Shinimi…" Alyssa cried as she saw that he placed is hand over his lift side under his ribcage.
Emile laughed, "You can't use those tricks to get past me." He paused as his eyes bore straight down at the four. "No about of illusions can fool my senses."
Alyssa continued to stare at the human who continued to smirk. Once again Eric started to twirl a new needle in his hand as she looked over the hallway. "Fall asleep," He breathed as the needle in his hand vanished in his hand.
'What happened…?' Roxy's thoughts stopped. A gasp, she turned her head to see how a single needle wedged itself into Alyssa's neck to make the poor girl flinch as she gasped. Ryuu's face fell as he grasped onto Alyssa to keep her from falling to the ground as before he laid her on the ground. Ryuu look at the needle, reaching down to grab the pin his arm went numb. Nothing. All control was lost as a sharp and untamable pain shot through his should as if it was shattered.
'A needle….' He thought as his eyes got drawn right to his left shoulder. 'When did he.' Ryuu gasped as another landed right into the side of his neck. With his eyes rolling up and into the back of his head Ryuu fell to the floor and the needle in his should dug into Alyssa's leg.
"Ryuu!" Roxy screamed. 'No why? We are so close!' She panicked.
"I think that it's better that you fall asleep," The voice flatly spoke right in her left ear. Jumping in place she felt a sharp prick in the side of her neck before she too collapsed onto the floor.
"Good," Emile spoke out loud. 'Now those little kids wouldn't get …' "In the way of our little spar." The pink eyed man breathe out loud. In his left hand a brand new needle generated in the mites of his hand before her lashed out his left arm straight back to side the needle flying.
"Damn it!" Shinimi cussed the air rippled to let the Gijinka become visible. The long six inch needle got wedged right into his left elbow in the inside of his arm. Losing control of the rest of his arm past his left elbow Shinimi cursed under his breath as she noted that the needle held itself in his body by three inches. 'Damn that is deep.'
Emile's face fell as new needle, like a long sparring pole slipped out of the air and into his right hand. While holding the weapon downwards with his thumb over the top. The six foot blade seemed to ignore all laws of reality as it its sharp tipped end touched the floor. Its other end continued past Emile right into the wall that Emile had his back against. Yet it didn't break. Instead it slipped into the air like a cord being partly covered with a blanket.
"That's not normal," Shinimi gasped.
"Of course not," Emile smiled and paused. "For you anyways."
Narrowing his eyes he watched the human twirl the blade slowly as it phased through all flesh and matter around it. 'I just need to get closer to.' Shinimi mentally noted.
Lunging forwards Shinimi gathered black energy in the palm of his hand. Pulling his arm backwards he phased close at Emile who smiled as he watched the Fusion assault him. 'So slow,' Emile thought. Twisting his right wrist the long pin impaled Shinimi in the shoulder to slide through. "Got you—" Emile started.
"Ack!" Shinimi gasped as he felt the pin needle thread through his muscles. 'That smarts!' Falling to his knees, he grabbed the needle to thrust it out of his body.
Emile stood there as he took his needle in hand and pointed it right at Shinimi's neck. "Any last words?"
"Cliché." Shinimi laughed. Blood red blood leapt out of a vertical cut starting at his right should and went down to his right hip. Gasping Emile stepped back with his right foot only for pure pain shot through his right knee. As if there was a rod jabbed through the side. The scientist then let go of the needle in his hand as he stepped back a few more steps with pain jumping throughout his body.
Coughing out a bit of blood with a laugh, Emile tilted his head left with a bit of a crazed look. Please refrain for any Foul Play my friend."
With a tick, Shinimi grabbed the weapon and shot it back at his opponent. "The one thing that hurts more than these damn needles are your fricken puns."
Shrugging Emile quietly laughed. "I know. I get that a lot."
Still holding his left shoulder. Shinimi looked over man that stood before him. 'I can't kill him, he's not even…' Shinimi looked straight into the other beings eyes. "Why are you hiding what you are?"
Deadpanned, Emile looked right at the fusion as he once again had his long weapon slowly spinning it in his right hand. "Well if anyone knew what I was they'd call me a demon and." Emile trailed off. "My best friend here is a quite the lune, so keeping him in line is not easily." Shifting his weapon into his other hand. "I better end this." Shifting his fingers the weapon starting to be twirled faster and faster before it faded from view as if it was never there. 'I hate to do this little kid.' He thought to himself as he bore right at Shinimi.
"Well then," Shinimi laughed. Black mist and black smoke generated over his hand before his entire body got covered in the shadows. Side stepping leftwards he broke into particles. This black particles started to spin and created a black vortex that swallowed Emile's entire world.
Blinking, pink eyes tool in the new sight that laid before him. Blackness, lack of light shadow flames covered the empty darkness all around him. Looking down onto the ground he found himself to be standing over nothing but black air. The black flames flickered all around him with a white hue. 'It's like a painting.' The purple haired man noted. The fire seemed to float on the endless 3d space as he could not see any sky nor floor.
"What kind of illusion is this?" Emile wondered alone. 'It feels so empty yet alive.' Quickly his eyes widened as guarded himself with his spinning toothpick in front of his chest. Black shadows generated from nothing as it collided with his weapon. Like a whirlpool the black shadows turned to smoke as it got force clockwise in circles and forced to dissipate into the clear dark air. "Mind showing yourself? Or do you want to hear more amazing puns?"
Emile wiped around his left arm with the spinning weapon to intercept another leaping shadow. Emile smiled. 'So easy to annoy him.' Closing his eyes he shifting on his legs to twist around and walked a few steps before opening his eyes to a brand new sight. 'He's molding this place.' Emile thought as he looked around the new location that he stood in. Looking down at the surface he stood on its black surface.
A stair well, the sky less and groundless world was replaced with a giant endless stair well. Black surfaces lacked shine as human stood over a climbing stair case. Emile look above his head but was great with nothing but void space. Yet when he look to the surface that he stood on the… Stairs he was standing on the side on their frames. 'Wait… the whole stair case is tilted!' He noted exited. Looking to his right he stood the end top and to the left he saw the never ending floor of the stair well.
Looking over the stairs that held no rails. Although what stood out the most was that each hard edge of the stairs was marked and lit as a thick white lines.
'How wide are theses stairs?' Emile pondered as he tried to figure out the hall. Finally he figured out that each flight of stair was ten feet in length and when looking over the side of the solid mass stairs, four feet deep.
Glancing up to 'top'(landing) of the well he saw how at the left side of the stairs that the top step of the stairs that wend down twice as deep to start the next stairs that held all the same dimensions as the one that he stood on. Looking at the top of the lower stairs he saw how the landing of the stairs at the top widen upwards to start a new set of black steps. As his eyes traveled up he saw how it patterned out continually like the first two flights that he just noted and as he turn his head around he saw how the pattern repeated in reverse.
'Wait,' He thought. 'The stairs are nowhere near the walls! It's suspended in midair!'
Laughing, "What a trick you pulled. What kind of illu—" Emile's sentence got pulled as the stairs crack and crumbled in a small area around his feet. In the small surface area that he stood on there was now air as he fell with gravity pulling his entire body down.
Instantly he spun and lifted his left hand up in a fist to hold his long blade horizontally in the air. As he fell the blade on both sides fazed through the black broken stairs. However it solidified as soon as the needle was half way through, this stopped his fall. Yet Emile smirked as his pink eyes started to glow. "Alright. Enough is enough." Emile called out as the world around him cracked with white lines. Piece by piece the entire whole fell apart as the familiar world of the white hall.
"That was some unique world you created," Emile informed Shinimi who just pulled out all of the pin needles from the kids.
Roxy stood in shock as she watched the black fog the incased Emile dissipate. 'Why...' She mentally stuttered. "Why can't you just let us leave?"
Blinking Emile held his weapon as a staff and in a monotone answered. "Sure, why not."
Shinimi froze as he looked at the purple haired man. 'You got to be kidding me!'
Alyssa looked confused yet relieved as once again fell to her knees. "I can finally leave…" She weakly spoke.
"Wait just like that!" Roxy almost screamed. "All we had do to was ask?"
"Pretty much."
"No strings attached?"
"None."
"Why?"
"Cause, I am more human then my friend can be and I don't need to worry about your cores falling apart."
Shinimi spanned out of shock before he helped Alyssa up. "Ryuu, get Alyssa to the door and Roxy you go with them. I'll be out in a few." He ordered the three.
"But!"
"But nothing!" Shinimi hissed. "Just do it." His eyes thinned as Roxy weakly nodded as she and her friend left through the door at the end of the hallway. Once it closed She stepped out in front of Emile. "You're more human than I thought your kind was."
Emile looked down with closed eyes and smiled. As he looked up he opened them and laughed. "I'm half human, and the human DNA always dominates over other DNA." Looking at the shocked expression on Shinimi's face.
'Wait he is half-'
"Even with both, fusions and anthro," Emile continued. "The human DNA always remains dominate. So no matter how much non-human DNA I inject into a human. Their DNA will either fight and kill it or adapt it into a new form of Human DNA."
"You got to be shitting me," Shinimi flatly spoke.
"It's interesting," Emile laughed. "Many other kinds of being think that the human race is weak. However it's the opposite." Twisting his finger his weapon shifted out of existence before he put both hands in his pockets. "I always found human DNA to the strongest but I digress." He starred right at the fusion in front of him.
"As interesting as that is," Shinimi admitted. "Why are you just letting us go?"
"Two reasons," Emile explained. "One; I get to mess with my crazy best friends mind by letting you four go. Second; controlling that bastard is a pain." Sighing Emile looked right at Shinimi. "Speaking of the former. Shouldn't you be leaving?"
Turning his head Shinimi thought, 'Might as well.' He thought. Turning to look back at the white dressed human he sighed. "Well this was anti-climactic." He sighed before he turned around and walk through the door.
Watching the anthro leave the base Emile silently laughed. "Actually this is the exact opposite of anti-climactic." Pivoting on his feet he twisted around and disappeared into the air in a ripple effect.
Black, cold, lack of a solid light with a pinch of dampness filled the huge cave opening. Iron walls of rock lay chipped and cut in the darkness of the cave. Yet the walls and ground lay unseen in the black veil that covered the entire cave.
Shinimi stepped out into the blackness unable to see anything right he looked around. 'Damn it. I can't see anything.' He cussed. 'Where the hell did those three go?' He wondered as he continued to stand in place as he looked around.
Red eyes, two red eye appeared and a slight glow of a dull golden colored rings started to stand out. "Shinimi!" A younger voice spoke called over to the anthro.
"Alyssa," Shinimi spoke up. "You can see in this cave right?"
"Yep!"
"Good," Shinimi continued. "Are Roxy and Ryuu with you?"
"They are right behind me." Alyssa beamed.
"Good," Shinimi laughed. "Now we can leave this realm."
Roxy at this point spoke up. "Realm?" she repeated. 'I hate this darkness. I can't see anything!' She thought. "What do you mean?"
"We are going to the place that I come from," Shinimi smirked. "And now you are all coming with me to my origins." He laughed much to the confusion of the three.
I should have had this done... like a while ago. But with this chapter done, our story comes to a close and time for a bit of a reflection on this adapted story.
While I hate to do so. I do feel like ending it here is the perfect spot. I wanted to pick up A Transformed Life because it included things that we never see in a fanfiction. For Pokémon that often. The idea of humans infused with Pokemon DNA is not knew but it's a rare find and I wanted to kept the original story plot in tact and merge it into my own. Shinimi, the Zoroark anthro according to his creator was suppose to be a Giratina fusion but I couldn't do that. For one main reason. One which I will not be talking about in this small reflection.
For each of the OC's I didn't create I tried to stay true to their BIO I was given and I even had to create what the most of them looked like. I was pretty lacking in detials for them but in my Fusion's & Anthro's Story I gave them my F&A/GOTM treatment.
Speaking of Fusion's & Anthro's. This story I adopted was rewriten to fit in that world and this chapter overlaps with the CHp.1 of the F&A rewrite. SO this leads into great news for those who want to see more of this story continue. It continues in Chapter 1 of Fusions and Anthro's and in that chapter there are plently of scenes that happen in that story and is not seen here and vise versa.
So while you might not see what happened to certain characters in this chapter you'll see them in my other fanfiction. Consider the last Chapter of Gijinka Fusion's and the First Chapter of Fusion's & Anthro's merged in the plot.
Now if you want to read Fusion's & Anthro's be warned that it is Rated: M. For Swears, Bloody fights, some perverted jokes. It's a mature fanfiction that I want to try to write. I hope you can enjoy that one.
Also a lot of characters in this story will be in Fusion's & Anthro's. Not right away but they will be there!
The one thing about the first couple hundred words is that I reused a lot of text, rewrote and copied the exact dialogue from my first chapter of Fusions and Anthros. Had no choice in this case. It over laps with the main story.
Annotations:
1. Beveled: the inclination that one line or surface makes with another when not at right angles. (taken from )
2. Bench: The term bench has many meanings. A bench in this case is not what you set on in the park. Here is like a booth at a restaurant. The set is blended right into the design of the buildings very structure most of the time.
Here I believe the term bench can be used or a booth seat if you want.
3. Fillets: A material fill on a sharp edge to add a slanted slope.
4. Outsole: The outsole is the rubber bottom of a shoe.
5. Intermediate Landing: These are a flat part of the stair cases that act as a flat turning surface. These are generally used to allow the stairs to take a new direction.
