Bold - Mikhail/Raphael talking when they take over their masters' bodies.

Summary: Pandora's box is breaking apart, Mikhail is damaged and Verloren's soul is coming closer as each second passes by. Fearing for their Masters' future, Raphael, with the help of Mikhail, help send Kal (Ea), Teito, Ouka, Wolfram and Millea back two months around when Teito Klein first deserted the military. How will Teito cope with reliving the past again? Will he help change things for the better or for the worse?

Hakuren read the letter, stopped at the second line, read the letter from the beginning, stopped at the end, reread the whole letter again. His expression changed from shock, to anger and finally to helplessness and frustration. At the end, Hakuren crumpled the letter and threw it on the ground as hard as he could, before running off.

What do I do? What do I do? I don't want to go back to my father! I want to stay away from the Oak estate, as well! Hakuren stopped running, his hair hiding his eyes in shadows. But if I don't go, then father will probably harm mother. I don't want mother to be hurt but I don't want to go back to the Oak family. Three years, three whole years! And I know for a fact that Shuri won't pass that begleiter exam. He's too much of an idiot.

Hakuren looked down at the envelop still in his hand. He sighs and walks back to the dorms. I should go back to the dorms. I don't feel like studying today...

Castor spent all of yesterday's evening and most of the night with Labrador and Frau as they tried to determine which plant Labrador could stand being in the presence of. It seemed that Labrador had a very strong negative reaction when coming to face a wild but common flower, but could tolerate flowers that were grown domesticated. Common flowers in general gave him a headache, but when he came to face rare flowers, Labrador could hear nothing being spoken from the flowers. However, they finally came to the decision that Labrador worked best with rare varieties of flowers and the silver rose.

Flashback #1 (Frau's room)

"Common flowers are too chatty, especially lilies," Labrador commented. "They like talking too much. That lily in particular is way too vain. It kept on talking about how pretty its petals were, how the sun seems to love shining on it and how the rain always makes the droplets that fell on it seem like diamonds."

"...Should we be worried?" Frau asked. He was in his coffin, lying on his stomach as he watched the "flower examination," as he had dubbed the whole experience.

"No I don't believe so," Castor had replied. "It's just Labrador being Labrador."

"Hmmm... these rare flowers don't talk at all. It certainly is better than chatty lilies, but after a while, it starts to get to you. Really, how can people stand not having the constant stream of whispers of flowers. Don't they start feeling a bit insane? It's like no one's paying any attention to you!" Labrador complained.

"Usually its the other way around..." Frau muttered, trying to rub sleep from his eyes.

"And, ah! The silver rose! It's perfect!" Labrador said as the sister doll gave him the flower pot. "Look at it! It's absolute perfection."

"How?" Frau asked, yawning.

"The silver rose isn't at all like those chatty flowers and it isn't silent at all. In fact it's telling me that I should go get my environmentally-safe hair sprays and contact lenses from my closet and give them to Teito-kun in the morning! It also says to go to sleep now so good night!" With that Labrador walked as fast as he could out of the room and down to his bedroom to go to sleep.

"...What just happened? I'm too tired to pay much attention," Frau said.

"...Labrador is just being Labrador," Castor told Frau as he began writing down notes. "The fatigue probably got to him. Alright, then. So Labrador can't stand chatty flowers. Rare flowers are alright, but they are too silent. Silver roses tell Labrador what to do. Not exactly predictions, more like dictations on what to do next, doesn't give explanations," Castor counted off. "Did I miss something, Frau?"

"Zzzz..."

"Frau?" Castor looked up to see that Frau had already went to sleep.

End of Flashback

Castor shook his head and sighed. He knew that he probably should have not kept those two up that late, but there was no helping it. Labrador had to get better so then he could resume his post as the head Bishop of the third district. The third district Church housed the second largest congregation of Bishops in the whole empire-the first being, of course, the seven district church.

Anyways, he, Labrador and Frau had just come from breakfast. Labrador had mostly gone back to being his normal self, though he insisted on wearing two silver roses behind his ears (Labrador: "It's to bring good luck.")

Frau had gone off to sulk somewhere before the funeral. Castor wasn't worried so much because he knew that Frau could look after himself. Whom he was worried about was Labrador. Labrador, also, had left, saying that there were some things he needed to tie up, though what Castor really was confused about was Labrador's insistence to remove the sister dolls Castor had paced in the infirmary to watch out for Teito.

Flashback #2 (Breakfast)

"Castor, can you pass me the butter and remove the sister dolls from the infirmary and stop trailing Teito wherever he goes?" Labrador asked, holding out one of his hands for the referred salty butter while calmly taking the butter knife in the other hand.

"Alrig- come again?" Castor asked, blinking when he comprehended the rest of Labrador's words.

"Oh! I said it wrong, didn't I? I meant to say may you pass me the butter and remove the sister dolls from the infirmary and stop training Teito-kun wherever he goes?" Labrador asked nonchalantly, hand still waiting for the butter.

Castor passed the butter over to Labrador before asking, "Why do you want me remove the dolls, Labrador?"

"Because its disturbing," Frau said, absently staring off into the distance as he stabbed his edible flowers with his fork, making it seem as if Frau was bored of the topic at hand.

"And its a bit distracting," Labrador added. "Following Teito-kun everywhere he goes just to make sure that he doesn't leave the church when you could have just placed the dolls around the church Perimeter or told the guards not to let Teito out of the church."

"And since when was there a rule saying that church members were allowed to kidnap 16 year olds?"

Castor narrowed his eyes."Okay, why are you two ganging up on me like this? And when did Frau become able to come up with plausible opinions? We did not kidnap Teito. I thought you agreed with the need to keep Teito in the church to train him."

Labrador shrugged. "Well, if you look at it in a different angle, that really is a weak reason to keep Teito here against his will."

"But it will benefit him in the long run," Castor insisted

"No, it won't," Labrador snapped. "You're manipulating him, Castor!" Labrador keep his voice down so the others sitting around the three wouldn't notice. However, it didn't make his voice any less sharper. "Teito-kun doesn't need to become a bishop! He doesn't need to receive training. And you know why, Castor? Because he was a battle slave. He was a tool used by the military to kill and destroy. He knows how to defend himself."

"What you are doing is not helping him," Frau agreed. "You are twisting the brat's want for revenge into a source of strength and source of power."

"You're confusing him Castor. If this continues, then Teito won't be able to tell the difference between love and vengeance anymore," Labrador continued before biting into his now buttered toast.

Castor looked at the two, confused. "But I thought you agreed with the idea of allowing Teito to take the Bishop Exam?"

"We didn't agree to anything, four-eyes." Frau sighed. "It was all in your head. You were the one who told Teito to take the Bishop Exams. You were the one Who managed to get that badge for him (1). You were the one who said you would help him with his revenge."

End Flashback (2)

Castor was still a bit shocked by Labrador's and Frau's accusations, but nevertheless relented. Castor had never considered his actions in that view point, though he still believed that Teito should not be allowed to leave until he had gotten stronger. Military training or not, Teito was still a mere boy who was in need of assistance. Yesterday's training should have been enough to prove Castor's point, but it seemed as if Labrador and Frau had decided to turn a blind eye to reason. (3)

Castor was currently taking a deserted short cut to the east gate. There were a total of four gates. The west gate was the main gate of the church and the only entrance and exit most people knew of. There were three other smaller, lesser known gateways out of the church. The south gate was actually an entrance to an underground tunnel which led directly to the graveyard. The gate was disguised as a broom closet. Indeed, if anyone stumbled upon it, they would have been mistaken it as an ordinary little closet filled with mops, brooms and other cleaning supplies. However, if someone were to search carefully enough, they would find a trapdoor underneath the worn out rug.

The tunnel itself was not your typical normal under-the-ground dirt tunnel. The tunnel's walls were covered with marble and there were flagstones that covered the ground. Torches lighted the way. Through the normal route, the walk to and from the graveyard wasn't all that far away. However, Castor preferred the light and empty hallway to the bustling and sombre atmosphere outside.

However, before he got to the entrance, Castor found out that the corridor was not as deserted as he first thought. A few feet away from Castor, there was a boy who looked to be around 15 or 16 years old. His head was down, causing his hair to create shadows over his eyes.

"Hello, there. Are you alright?" a kind voice asked from behind.

"Hakuren jolted as the voice brought him out of his revery. Hakuren quickly looked around, spotting a ginger-haired bishop in mourning robes a few feet away. Hakuren quickly schooled his face into that of a polite pupil and bowed respectfully to the bishop. "Good morning Bishop-sama. My name is Hakuren. Thank you for your concern but I am alright," Hakuren said politely, keeping his head bowed.

Castor looked down at the boy. According to the badge on the collar, Hakuren was a candidate for the bishop exams. Hmm, his first name is Hakuren and his facial features are those of the Oak Family, meaning that this young man is Teito-kun's roommate.

"Are you sure you're alright?" Castor asked again.

"Yes, Bishop-sama. Thank you for your concern. I'm just worried about a friend of mine. He was taken to the hospital wing yesterday," Hakuren said, tearing his eyes from the ground.

"Ah, yes, Teito-kun has been very negligent towards his health recently," Castor replied , frowning at Teito's bad habits.

"What?! You know Teito too?" Hakuren blurted out before he could stop himself."

"As a matter of fact, I do." Castor smiled. "I believe your last name is Oak and that Teito-kun is your roommate."

"Um, yes, sir," Hakuren replied before asking curiously, "Bishop-sama, may I ask how you know Teito-kun?"

"My companions and I were the ones who brought him to the Church. Do you mind if I ask you if you two are getting along?" (4)

"I'm sorry Bishop-sama, but Teito and I are not on the best of terms at the moment," Hakuren responded apologetically.

"Hmm. Well, that is to be expected. You two just met each other, so of course you two wouldn't hit off immediately. By the way, I am Bishop Castor. Anyways, if you're sure that everything is fine, I need to get on my way..."

Hakuren looked gobsmacked (sp?) at Castor-sama as he began to walk away. Such an important person knew Teito, he thought. There really was a lot more about Teito-kun than he thought at first. And if Castor-sama was such an influential person, then maybe, just maybe...

"Bishop Castor!" Hakuren called out before running after the receding figure.

(A/N: I already planned to post their conversation in either Kapitel six or Kapitel seven as a flashback.)

*Infirmary*

Mikhail groaned as it opened its eyes to see that it and its master was still in the infirmary. Finally. Finally, after searching through its master's head ALL. OVER. AGAIN, it had finally found out the reason for his master's headache. Apparently, Verloren's body had latched onto the back of Teito's brain, slowly eating away at Teito's mind, body and soul. How it had ever got into the back of Teito's brain, Mikhail did not know, nor would it ever want to know at that point. All that it cared about was the fact that that there was a black gooey, piece of shit that had DARED to try and eat its beloved master. Thankfully, Mikhail was able to hack MOST of the dark substance off before sending it back into its cage. Mikhail was proud to say that Verloren wouldn't be trying anything any time soon, especially not after that nice and long beating Mikhail delivered.

Of course, Mikhail had then had to deal with the little dark pieces already in Teito's head. It had learned its lesson the first time around when it and the damn bishops had neglected to check the Eye of Mikhail for traces of the black magic. It had been a very tedious mission, but Mikhail had managed to get rid of all of the little threads that Verloren's body could use to try to regain control of Teito's soul and mind.

After it had finished, Mikhail noticed that his master seemed to be able to sleep and relax more easily than before.

Sighing, Mikhail used "its" arms to prop "itself" up to a sitting position. Thankfully, no one else was in the proximity. Otherwise it would have a bit of explaining to do about "its" ruby red eyes.

Though I wouldn't mind annoying those meddling nuns, Mikhail mused, thinking about what had happened yesterday.

"I'm glad to see that you're awake, Mikhail-sama."

"Huh?" Mikhail looked at the doorway and saw Profe- or Bishop Labrador, as Teito called him-smiling that eerie smile of his again. "Oh, its just you, Profe. Did you get the things I asked you to get?"

"Of course I did," Profe replied. "Do I look like someone who would go against my words?"

"I don't know. It hard to tell with someone who keeps his head in flower pots all day," Mikhail replied cheekily.

*Sigh* "Seems like I'll only be getting half of another flower recruit today."

"Yes, it doe- what did you say half?" Mikhail asked, red eyes narrowed. "...You did not just tell me you're trying to turn my beloved master into a flower freak."

"I didn't," Labrador said, as he placed the blue (6) messenger bag on the side table. "Anyways, here are the supplies you told me to bring through the connection (A/N: See Kapitel 3 for Mikhail's explanation): change of clothes, hair dye, contacts, a coat, boots and false identification papers. I also managed to convince Castor to remove the sister dolls from around the infirmary, so he won't immediately know that the two of you are gone. However, I think he will be able to recognize you once you leave the church."

"Eh, I'll deal with the bug when I get to it," Mikhail said as it went through the contents of the bag. "And really, Labrador? PURPLE hair dye? Do you WANT me to murder you in your sleep? And do you know where Mikage is? The last thing I need is master screaming at me for forgetting to bring him."

He's on the bed chewing the sheets, Teito's annoyed voice sounded in "Mikhail's" head. I think he made a new friend. And WHEN THE HELL DID YOU TELL LABRADOR ABOUT ALL THIS?!

"Good morning, Master! I told Labrador last night," Mikhail said, before turning back to face Labrador. "You can leave now, but make sure to keep an eye on Zehel. There's something wrong with him, but I was unable to warn any one of you the last time around."

"Don't worry, I will. I have also begun to notice something strange about Frau myself," Labrador informed Mikhail.

"And you're absolutely positive Castor won't be able to stop my Master?"

"Just make sure that my memories are regained and you'll have nothing to worry about."

(A/N: I'm making it that slave collars allow slaves to stay 48 hours away from their masters, otherwise Teito will already be dead.)

*Military Academy*

It had been two days since Hyuuga died.

If a stranger was to look at Ayanami, he/she would have thought that he was taking it surprisingly well. However, to the trained eye of someone like Miroku, it was obvious that Ayanami was deadly affected by the death of one of his close friends (though Ayanami was too stubborn to admit that). The white knuckles showing clearly as he gripped the chair's arms, the sad spark in his eyes and the way Ayanami's shoulders were tensed were all indicators of how stressed Ayanami was. Unfortunately, Ayanami's concerns did not end there.

Apparently, the search for Teito Klein had been officially stopped. With Teito-kun cleared of all charges, Teito-kun was now considered a free Barsburgian citizen, regardless of his past history as a slave. All the students of the military academy were cleared of all previous status, whether that be of a slave or noble man so as to help "bring forth the best of all peers without the fear of persecution," not that it stopped the more wealthier students themselves from constantly reminding their peers as to their status in society. Due to Miroku's decision of enrolling Teito in the Military academy, Teito had been, legally, a free man (7).

Of course, had Teito been a normal ex-slave, Miroku wouldn't have been worried at all about this decision. Slaves were abundant and highly replacable thanks to the large number of poor people and the large numbers of Raggs survivors. One of the higher-ups who held Ayanami-kun in contempt would have rejoiced at the opportunity to annoy Ayanami. And what better way than to pardon and free a slave who managed to best Ayanami.

However, Teito-kun wasn't a normal slave. He was a prince who was supposed to be dead. And to make matters worse, there was nothing he nor Ayanami could do to revoke the statement. Miroku had asked around to find out who had cleared Teito of his status and crimes, and imagine his surprise when he found out that it was the Emperor who had given the statement.

For that reason, Miroku decided to call on Ayanami here was to ask him to snoop around and find out some more information about the crisis.

*knock knock*

"Come in, Ayanami-kun," Miroku said calmly, before the door opened and Ayanami himself came into the room. He was soon followed by the remaining four Black Hawks.

"I'm glad that you came. I take it that you have heard about situation concerning Teito-kun?" Miroku asked, cutting right to the chase.

"Yes," Ayanami replied. "I take it you that you could not revoke the statement, even as Field Marshal?"

After the death of Wakaba, Nabiki, Ogi and Shiroki, Miroku was named as temporary Field Marshall due to his previous experience as Field Marshal, himself. However, he had to entrust most of the running of the military school to Lloyd-sensei and Officer Bianca (8) in order to fulfill his duties as Field Marshal. Miroku had actually wanted to give this position to Ayanami, though Miroku knew better than too do that. Many people viewed the black hawks with distrust, and with all the chaos going around at Houborg... Well, suffice to say, that wouldn't be the best of ideas yet.

"Unfortunately," Miroku sighed, "it appears that not even I repeal a direct statement made by the Emperor, himself."

The Black Hawks started at that. Even Ayanami was surprised.

"The Emperor did that for a mere slave..." Kuroyuri murmured, surprised.

"Unbelievable..." Konatsu agreed, shocked.

"Are you sure?" Ayanami asked, hands gripping the poor chair's arms once more. "Are you absolutely positive?"

Miroku nodded gravely. "I have tried to ask for an audience with Emperor Wolfram-being his uncle and one of his closer correspondents during the Raggs War-but the Emperor's royal assistant said that the Emperor had left with the princess to the family house in the third district and wouldn't be returning until day after tomorrow."

"Seems pretty suspicious, if you look at it as a larger picture," Katsuragi mused. "First, Teito Klein tries to assassinate Chief of Staff Ayanami, then he manages to escape to church. When his friend, Celestine, died, we found out that he is the prince of Raggs and the holder of the Eye of Mikhail under the protection of the Seven Ghosts. Our primary spy in the church is then killed two days afterwards, along with Hyuuga. And now, the Emperor along with the holder of the Eye of Raphael, Princess Roseamanelle Ouka Barsburg has gone missing around the same time. Things seem to be moving rather quickly now, huh?"

"Yes," Ayanami thought aloud, freeing the poor chair from his death grip before folding his arms and leaning against the chair, though you could still see that he was tense. "There is something suspicious about all this. And I suppose you intend to get to the bottom of this, Miroku-sama?"

"Yes," Miroku replied. "But I wanted to ask you another favor."

"What is it?"

"Not so long ago, I received a royal summoning requesting that I lend my Begleiter, Karu-kun, to the Emperor to serve as his royal guard. Just a few hours previous to that-during the last council meeting- Karu disappeared. Now that Teito Klein is virtually untouchable, I want you to keep tabs on Karu, as I suspect that he is somehow 'in the know' so to speak. Am I understood?"

"Yes sir!" The Black Hawks confirmed. (9)

"But now, let's leave such formal topics behind. Ayanami-kun, I heard that you were planning on holding Hyuuga's (A/N: Don't think the guy has a last name) funeral on the same day as General Oak's. I don't supposed you did that to escape the Oak estate early, did you?"

"I'm still trying to convince myself that Hyuuga won't haunt me for the rest of life for making his funeral on the same day as that of an Oak of all things." Ayanami asked. "Is there any other reason I would have done it?"

Miroku chuckled. "No, I supposed not."

Teito looked at himself in the mirror. After some deliberation and some threats (Teito: Mikhail, if you don't make up your mind, I am going to dye my hair purple! Mikhail: O.O!), Teito had dyed his hair red and wore blue contacts. Instead of the regular mourning robes he usually wore, Teito donned a white long sleeves shirt and black pants.

There was also a coat in the bag. It was a lot like the one Seilan-san gave him when he left the Hausen House. The only differences was the color and the crest. Whereas Teito's old cloak was dark purple with the Hausen House Crest, the new one was pure black with silver trimming with no crest.

Teito also wanted to wear the black coat on top of his clothes, but Mikhail told him not to.

Wear the brown coat. The black one would attract attention to yourself. Put it on once we enter the first district. That way, you won't look out of place when you're in the village or in the capital.

The coat Mikhail was referring to was the worn light brown traveling coat which looked like a miniature version of the one Mikage had worn when he first entered the church.

(A/N: Mikage was currently sitting on Teito's head, in case you were wondering.)

Are we ready to go now, Mikhail? Teito groaned, as Mikhail observed the boy through the mirror.

Hmm, should I have used blond dye instead of red? There seems to be more blond-haired people in the church rather than red...

MIKHAIL, I DON'T CARE! ARE WE GOING OR NOT?!

Okay, okay, we can go now. Sheesh, it's just 9:30...

Teito opened the infirmary door. There wasn't a soul outside in the corridor, so Teito hurriedly walked to through the halls. Teito saw a few nuns he didn't recognize, as well as some students hurrying either to the library or to their dorms. With Mikhail's excellent navigation skills, Teito managed to get to the front gate without getting lost even once. The ex-criminals who used to watch the gates were all dead so regular guards were placed in their stead. Neither guard gave as much as a second glance as Teito walked through the gates.

A few minutes before that moment, a sister doll that had been guarding the front entrance looked down curiously at the boy with the brown coat.

After Labrador had told Castor to remove the sister dolls from the infirmary, Castor had decided that he would post at the perimeter of the graveyard and the church, in case of an emergency or accident. However, in order to prevent panic or fear, Castor did a neat little trick that allowed him to use the surrounding Zaiphon in the air and land to camouflage the dolls completely (like a chameleon). Castor had actually basics and design for the technique while looking through the church's older manuscripts kept in the upper levels of the church. It had talked about manipulating the Zaiphon around a particular object to create an illusion.

However, the scrolls Castor read forgot to mention one little troublesome side effect to using this... (10)

A boy with black hair, a boy with red hair, the sister doll thought. A boy with red hair, a princess with brown hair.

"She" carefully moved closer, slowly creeping along the beams of the church, unseen, after "her" prey.

A man with red eyes, a child with blue eyes, "she" continued to think. A child with blue eyes, an angel with green eyes.

"She" artfully and inconspicuously blended into the stone wall as "she" watched the boy leave the church.

An angel named Mikhail, a boy named Teito. "She" stared at the boy's back with blank eyes. A boy named Teito, a goddess named... Named... a boy named Teito...

Flashback #3 (Location unknown)

"If Teito-kun is to ever leave the church, make sure to bring him back, no matter what."

End Flashback

Teito must not leave, Teito must be stopped...

(A/N: Castor forgot to tell them to bring Teito back alive)

It was purely instinct that saved it's master from being sliced into two.

Here Teito was, minding his own business, causing no one any troubles and doing nothing at all that would want someone to decapitate him at the spot.

But did that matter to that puppet freak? Nooo, of course not. Since when did something like that matter to that piece of shit? Never. If there was one thing-alright, maybe not one thing per se- Mikhail didn't like about Fest was that they were always. So. God. Damn. Annoying.

They were control freaks. They were puppet freaks. They were sworn enemies to the kitchen. They were persistent.

But most importantly of all, they were dangerously stupid, while at the same time dangerously brilliant.

Teito had been only a few feet away from the entrance when he had felt the telltale signs of Zaiphon being prepared to strike, and so ducked accordingly. He watched, shocked, as he saw the Zaiphon cut deeply into the hard cement. Mikhail, reluctantly and for the first and (maybe not) last time, thanked the years worth of military instinct pounded into him at the tender age of six (11).

Teito quickly stood up and threw his own Zaiphon at the doll that had attacked him. It easily dogged and ran up to him with unnatural speed. It made to grab his throat, but Mikhail was quicker and swifty back flipped away from her.

Master, please switch with me, completely! That way I can deal with Fest's pests sooner!

"Pests?! What do you mean by pests?" Teito muttered, As he dodged another Zaiphon attack. He summoned his own blue Zaiphon and hurled it at the doll. "There's only one puppet over here!"

No sooner has he said that, ten more of Castor's dolls appeared seemingly out of pure air.

"Oh, you have GOT to be kidding me!" Teito shouted before switching with Mikhail.

(A/N: I'm not good at fighting scenes, as you saw in Kapitel 2: Houborg Fortress)

The minute the guards had heard the Zaiphon make contact with the ground, they had ran immediately to the problem. About 5 meters away, the young boy who had just walked out of the church was being attacked by a sister of all things. The guards raced over, fully intending on breaking up the fight, only to find their way blocked by three more sisters. The guards attempted to push their way through, but the things simply knocked them to their feet.

One of the guards, Steve, grabbed his spear and attempted to attack one the nuns. However, one of the nuns simply grabbed the spear and broke it in two.

Shocked, Steve's much more experienced partner, Kevin, tried to reason with the nuns. "Look here," Kevin I don't know what that child has ever done to you, but don't you think-" Kevin immediately cut off as he finally took a good look at the nuns' appearances. They all had identical phenotypes- shoulder-length light, purple hair, white skin and friendly smiles. However, what really made his blood run cold was their eyes. Completely white, they looked like pieces of marble embedded in their skin. They held an empty feeling that made you almost believe they weren't even there, that they weren't even thinking...

"K-Kevin, what are they?" Steve, stuttered, eyes wide.

Kevin slowly edged away from the things. They didn't stop them, though. All they did was keep on smiling their creepy little smiles. "I don't know what they are, but it doesn't look like their trying to keep us hostages. I think they just don't want us to get too close to the child."

"Should we go get a Bishop?"

"You do that. I'll stay here and try to find a way to help the child."

"Alright." Shakily the two guards got up. As Steve ran into the church, Kevin held his spear in both hands and concentrated. Soon enough, Kevin's spear began to glow as he synchronized his weapon with his Zaiphon...

Something went wrong.

Something had went terribly wrong.

Castor and Frau had been attending the funerals of the rich and snobby people in the seventh district who had demanded that their dead be put to rest first before those of the "filth of the empire." Many people became angry with their cold disregard of the common people who had died, including many members of the church. Thankfully, a compromise had been reached that the rich and the poor people's funerals will be done at separate ends of the graveyards.

The Archbishop Jio Bishops had taken 20 minutes to decide who went with which side. Unfortunately, Frau and Castor were among those who got stuck with the wealthier class, while Labrador was allowed to attend the funerals of the poorer class.

They were right then getting something to drink at the refreshment table to calm themselves before they did something they would regret later to the imbeciles they had to surround themselves with. It was a comfort that they weren't the only ones.

"Frau," Castor asked, "If I told you something, how angry would you get?"

Frau gulped down his ice tea "...Depends on it is," Frau muttered before he began drinking again.

"So... how angry would you be if I told you that I lost control of the sister dolls and now they are trying to kill him?"

*SPLAT* (Frau spat out his green tea)

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAY'RE TRYING TO KILL HIM!" Frau shouted. "Where are they?! HOW did this HAPPEN? How could you lose control of your puppets?!"

"I mean they are trying to kill him, they are near the front entrance, I think I forgot to tell them to keep Teito within church boundaries alive, and I have no idea. Now please go and save Teito-kun, as the dolls won't listen to me anymore."

"Tch, fine! But you better find out a way to fix this, four eyes!" Frau swiftly walked/ran away.

(1) Frau only handed the badge over to Teito-kun. Castor was the one who manage to get Teito the badge to begin with.

(2) Castor's channeling Dumbledore here

(3) Do you remember Note (4) in Kapitel Four and what I said about Evil!Frau? The first person who figures it out what I'm hinting at gets digital chocolate milk shakes!

(4) He's got like one and a half hours left before leaving and nearly everything's done already. He was going to the graveyard then because he likes being early.

(5) Mikhail feels that there are still some spies within the church that are allowing the Black Hawks to keep tabs on Teito.

(6) Expect to see A LOT of that color

(7) Meaning that all the missions that Teito was sent out on were illegal. Miroku had no right to send Teito on those missions, but do you see any child protection laws or departments in the so nonexistent democratic government? Of course not. Politicians don't CARE about children in the Barsburg Empire, if they aren't of any use to them.

(8) The crazy redhead who oversees the Begleiter exams in episode one

(9) In the Anime and Manga, it was hinted that the Black hawks respected and may even take orders from Miroku.

(10) It gives the dolls some form of self-consciousness, making it harder to deal with the dolls. Since they share a soul with Castor, they can view his memories if powerful enough. They might even be able to view the memories of Verloren's fragment which was sealed up in Castor. This doll was more powerful than the others because she was sent to guard the front entrance and gate, so she was able to view tiny bits and pieces of their memories.

(11) But it does NOT mean that Mikhail like the fact that Teito was beaten up and treated like trash for ten years of his life.

...The excuse is the same. This chapter got too long.

In the next chapter, THEY WILL REUNITE! Mikhail and Raphael will be fixing the sloppy time travel job they did, the Chief will be making an appearance and Teito and Ouka will probably be heading to a House of God. I'm not telling you which one, though!

But now, it is time for an Omake:

I promised you I would steal Ayanami's hat, so I will!

*In a random, inter-dimensional area where a lot of forests and gardens, drinkable, pure oceans and pixies could be found.*

Me: Hello, Teito! How are you on this terrible, terrible day?

Teito: I feel as if someone's is going to frame me today.

Me: Uh-really? Wherever did you get that ridiculous idea? *Laughs nervously*

Teito: I don't know. It's a gut feeling.

Me: Um, well then, I better get going. Lots of things to do and buy, am I right? *Laughs nervously again, before running off*

Ayanami: *Is sitting under a tree asleep* Zzzzzzz...

Me: Hehehe, Teito-kun won't know what hit him... *Takes Ayanami's hat of his head gently before running off again*

Me: Kuroyuri, do your mind doing me a favor?

Kuroyuri: Sure, what is it?

Me: Can you give this hat to Haruse? He'll know what to do with it.

Kuroyuri: *Gasp* But isn't that-

Me: Yes, so don't tell him I gave it to you unless you want me to die and keep you from ever meeting Ayanami-kun ever again.

Kuroyuri: Hai! *Goes off to find Haruse, while I go home to eat chocolate cake and watch TV*

Kuroyuri: *Knocks on the door to Haruse's cottage* Haruse! Haruse, are you in here?

Haruse: *Opens the front door and comes out, wearing an apron.* Hello, Kuroyuri-sama. What is it?

Kuroyuri: Author-san asked me to give this hat to you.

Haruse: *Looks at the hat and understands* Alright. Thank you for bringing it to me. Do you mind looking after the muffins I'm making in the oven. Feel free to take one before you leave.

Kuroyuri: Thanks, Haruse! *Goes into the cottage while Haruse goes out to find Suzunami.*

Haruse: Suzunami do you know where Teito is?

Suzunami: Yep! He's taking a nap at the picnic table!

Haruse: Alright, I need you to put this hat on the table besides Teito and then run as if all the seven ghosts were after you until you are out of the 50 meter radius of destruction, ok?

Suzunami: Uh, Okay? *Does that while Haruse runs back to the cottage*

Ayanami: *Wakes up* My head...feels cold... *Looks for his hat, but doesn't find it* Where. Is. My. HAT!

*runs all over the place unti lhe finds Teito*

Ayanami: *growls* Klein...

{To be continued...}

The funerals were held for ALL the people who died in the seventh district, not just in the town near the church

sooooo... what do you think? great? terrible? a fantastic piece of art? a complete waste of time and brain cells? a travesty to the history of writing? Well, I want to know, so REVIEW! :D (this is the #1 greatest emoticon)
