And so we begin the first steps of the adventure of Sun and Moon! Also, HeatSpark the Pikachu will be known as Heatie most likely (To not destroy my hands as much with all the typing). Here we see Moon's perspective of there first steps and in the next chapter we will have Sun's perspective of Hau'oli City! I've decided that I will probably do altering chapters of Sun's and Moon's perspective until further down the story. Anyway, enjoy yourself! ~Xe
Chapter 4: The Trainer School and Moon's Title
Moon slowly woke up to a confusing blur in front of her. As she slowly moved her body up, she realized she was gripping onto the thing she looked at.
What am I holding? she thought, slowly moving her eyes around herself.
She look until the sleeping face of the Golden-blonde Elio came into her view. With that she immediately flopped off the bed and onto the floor in a state of panic.
"Why am I in here? What- Oh. Now I remember." she whispered.
The previous night
Moon walked up to the door of Sun's room, well into late night of the day of the festival. Sun slowly opened it, rubbing his eyes from trying to sleep.
"What is it, Moon?" he asked.
"Um- I- I can't sleep. I- don't know why I can't sleep, I just can't." She lied.
She knew why she couldn't sleep. She wanted to be closer to Sun because of her feelings.
"Well, do you want to come in and sleep in here? Oh wait- I don't have anything I can use as a bed. Hmm- I'll just sleep on the floor." he replied.
He completely ignored what he said, because as soon as Moon walked in he went right back to his bed and passed out. Moon stared at Sun after sitting on his bed. She giggled softly trying not to wake him up.
"You're as cute as you were seven years ago. No wonder I started to like you like that." she whispered to herself.
Moon slowly stretched her arms, yawning. She then slowly moved her body to sleep next to Sun, wrapping her arms around his, purring to herself. He wouldn't wake up, he was too much of a heavy sleeper. Although, this wasn't the first time they would sleep together. They usually had sleepovers where they would end up talking past bedtime and falling asleep either on top of each other or coupled to each other like she was doing now.
Present
Moon gave a small yawn, followed by a shifting in Sun's bed.
"Pika-pi." Heatie said, his eyes looking at Moon.
"Good morning, Heatie. Did you enjoy your sleep?" she asked, giggling a little.
The Pikachu nodded, and the yawning of Sun was heard from up on the bed.
"Morning." he said, rubbing his eyes.
"Morning, Sun." Moon said.
"Did you come to wake me up, Moon? Jeez, your sure a morning person, and I'm the one they call Sun." He said, his words ending up a bit slurred.
"No, Sun. You were probably to sleep-induced to realize that I asked you to sleep in here because I couldn't."
"Oh. Well, *yawn* we better starting heading towards the dining room. Mom will probably have *yawn* breakfast made." Sun said.
As Sun got out of the bed, he offered his hand to get Moon off the floor. As he pulled her up and they met eye contact for a moment, they immediately darted from each other. Such bashful they both were, Moon refused to let him know of her feelings until she knew his as well.
"Let's go get breakfast." Moon said, darting towards the door.
As they arrived at dining room, the smell of pancakes, Pinap syrup, and sausage filled the room.
"Ah, that smell is amazing!" Moon said.
"That was my favorite dish. And it was one I used to make a lot two years ago." Sun said.
"You cook?" she asked, her eyes widened.
"Yeah, a little bit. I make a lot of great different foods. My mom decided to allow me some time to myself, so I wandered the forest near our house for a while. Learned how to cook a lot of stuff, although there was a lot of mishaps."
Sun's Mom placed the food on the table, placing the Pecha butter on the table as well. As Sun and Moon dug in Sun's mom nudged Sun.
"So did you two have a nice night together?" she said, winking towards Moon.
Sun started to cough on the water he was drinking.
"MOM! NOTHING LIKE THAT HAPPENED, PROMISE!" he shouted, walking up Litten from his nap.
Moon probably understood what she was talking about, because she was slightly choking on a sausage link. As she got the food out of her wind pipe, she slowly looked down, trying to hid her blushing face.
The door rang, and Sun and Moon got themselves ready with supplies and stuff to head out, where they were met by Lillie and Hau.
"Hey, Sun, Moon, it's time to go to the trainer school." Hau said.
"Than let's go!" Moon said, grinning happily and grabbing Sun's hand, pulling him towards Melemele's Trainer School.
"Moon, not so hard!" Sun said.
"C'mon, we'll have a great time at the School."
And indeed they did. They had completed the trainer school before noon, and had been ready to go into Hau'oli city.
"You and your friend did exceptionally well, Selene. I don't think I could be prouder." a voice said from behind.
Oh no, it was Ilima, her brother.
"Who are you?" Sun asked.
"Hello, Ilima. Doing well with your captain duties?" Moon asked.
"You know mother and father were wondering were you were. In fact he almost had a search sent for you, being the mayor's daughter and all." Ilima, the pink-haired boy, said.
"I was hanging out with an old friend of mine, Ilima. You remember Sun right?" Moon said.
"Yes, I remember seeing a picture. You have grown into quite the gentleman, Elio. No wonder Selene had taken a liking to you when you both were younger."
"Ilima!"
"I guess we will be doing your trial challenge soon enough, Ilima?" Sun asked.
"Yes. I will be by Verdant Cave when you arrive."
As Ilima left, Moon looked down, trying to hide her blush.
"The mayor's daughter, huh?" Sun asked.
"It wasn't my choice. The people chose my father." Moon replied.
"It doesn't matter if you are or not, you're still Moon to me."
Moon looked at Sun, and she immediately wrapped her arms around his neck, placing her head on his shoulders.
"He won't let me go, Sun. He won't let me go on a Pokemon journey." she said, quietly tearing up.
"Then we persuade him." Sun replied, grasping a hold of her back tightly.
As they broke away, they proceeded into Hau'oli city. There they will get to meet the rest of Selene's family and persuade her father to allow Moon to journey.
Are you liking the journey so far? Let me know in the comments and reviews below. Have a nice day! ~Xe
