And now we have Sun's perspective of Hau'oli City and the Introduction of Aurea! Also, i'm still trying to find a name for Litten, so if anything comes to my mind, I will make sure to change that. Anyway, enjoy! ~ Xe
Chapter 5: Hau'oli City and Aurea
Elio looked around the entrance of Hau'oli City, and his eyes were amazed at the beautiful sights he saw. He turned to Selene, who was looking down and fidgeting with her hands. Hau was dragging Lillie to the masalada shop, probably without her accepting the offer. Why was that?
"Come on! The masalada shop is this way!" Hau said, pulling Lillie along with him.
"Could you please not hold onto my wrist so tightly, Hau! Stop dragging me along!" she said.
That was why. Sun smirked a little, seeing a connection between Hau and Lillie without them probably realizing it.
"I really don't want to have to talk to him about it." Selene said.
"Is your father really that bad?" Elio asked.
"Do you mind if I talk with you about it at the Pokemon Center?"
"Lead the way."
As they arrived at the Pokemon Center, they walked over to the cafe and ordered drinks. They slowly sat down, and Selene looked down at her cup of coco.
"Something happened to him." she said.
"What do you mean something happened?" he asked.
"My father was a kind man up until the time he began to run for mayor. When he was elected mayor, something... took over him. It's like he's being controlled by some being. He's cruel now. It affected my mother and Ilima most of all, hence why Ilima acted the way he did."
"It seems you are in quite the situation." a voice said.
Elio looked over to see a woman approach them. She was donned in white and yellow clothing, and her hair glistened white with a yellow flower pinned on the left side. Her eyes were green, with little red dots marking the very center.
"And you are?" he asked, taking a sip of his lemonade.
"My name is Aurea. I'm originally from the Sinnoh region, and I've been searching for a couple years for an old friend. Is something bothering you, Miss?" she said, turning towards Selene.
"My father used to be kind, but since he's been mayor something changed him. I don't know what it is, and he won't let me go on a Pokemon journey." Selene said.
"I understand. What if you don't tell him. One does not need the approval of their parents if they choose to make a journey across the region. And I'm certain that Tapu Koko will stop him from trying to stop him."
"How can you be sure that Tapu Koko will stop Selene's father from trying to stop her journey?" Elio asked.
"Because I have talked to him. I have talked to all of the Legendary Pokemon before, and they all respect me as I respect them. Even though some are more mischievous than others. But, that is a topic for a different story. I actually came to speak to you both about something." Aurea said.
An Eevee and a Jigglypuff came out from behind Aurea and looked at her, tugging her legs.
"An Eevee and a Jigglypuff. Jigglypuffs aren't in Alola." Selene said.
"These two have been my companions across my journey. I've been looking for their owners, and I believe I have just found them." she said.
"You mean- us? But we've never even seen them before." Elio said.
"Just because you have never seen them before, does not mean they do not belong to you. Your bond with Eevee is like your bond with HeatSpark, that darling Pikachu you have." Aurea said.
Heatie looked up, grinning happily as it had a mouth full of Pokefood in its mouth.
"And Jigglypuff's link with you, Selene, is like your bond with Rowie, your Rowlet."
"Um- so... they belong to us now?" Selene said.
"If they choose to. But to make this very clear, they will never evolve. Eevee will never become any of the 8 different evolutions it can become, and Jigglypuff will never become a Wigglytuff. Eevee, Jigglypuff, I do hope we meet again. Take care of these two." Aurea said, walking away.
Elio and Selene looked at the Eevee and Jigglypuff, who stared at them somewhat blankly. And then, they both approached the two children, Eevee jumping up onto Elio's shoulder and Jigglypuff jumping into Selene's arms.
"I- guess they are ours now." Elio said.
"I guess so. Where are we headed now? I guess we have to catch up Hau and Lillie and get to Verdant Cave for Ilima's trial." Selene said.
"Yeah. Shall we get going?"
"Yeah- let's go!"
And so after the encounter of Aurea and the new addition of Eevee and Jigglypuff, Elio and Selene start to head to there first trial!
Note: You guys will probably already guess that Aurea will be Arceus, based on her character description. So, just as a way to not expect, completely disregard that and just read the story.
