Welcome back! I hope your day today is fine and all. A couple things I want to point out, which I had completely forgotten.
-In chapter 3 Selene refers to Elio's Mom as Mrs. Dawnheart, but then she is called Mrs. Caliente at the end, that was a sorta mess up on my part. I had written Dawnheart as a filler name and then I switched it to Caliente to match Elio's character.
-Elio's full name is Elio "Sun" Caliente (his middle name is his nickname and real middle name) and Selene's full name is Selene "Moon" Nocta(same concept as Elio's nickname and middle name.)
-The reason why I'm kind of rushing parts is because I have a very bad bone structure i guess?; I just don't have the time or patience to go through a whole scenario of places and parts(examples are skipping the Marina part and Introducing Aurea instead of a discussion with Mr. Nocta) and I have a weird condition where my hands get strained and start to hurt after typing or writing for a certain amount of time.
-I know a lot of this isn't in the story of Pokemon Sun and Moon and Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, but I've decided to make my own spin on it, so sorry for that.
-The Eevee and Jigglypuff. The Eevee and Jigglypuff were apart of Pokemon Conquest, a spinoff game which is mentioned in the story a couple times, and explained by Aurea as she reveals her identity to Sun and Moon. The Eevee belong to the Hero(who is named Azai due to his similar appearance) and the Jigglypuff belonged to Oichi, the second main character of PC, who is Nobunaga's younger sister, who wanted to destroy Arceus.
-I'm trying. I'm trying to make this story work in a way similar to the games, but I have problems going chapter by chapter, and that is why i have chapter 59,60, and 61(which will probably change number and passages) already written with a concept.
Anyway, Today we fight Team Skull and are introduced into Aurea's house.
Chapter 6: Team Skull and the Two Room House
Selene and Elio entered Route 2 that evening, starting to make camp for the night. As Sun cracked up a fire and started to make food, Moon started to groom each individual Pokemon and give it a bath. They only had 5 Pokemon to the both of them, Litten, Rowie, Heatie, Eevee, and Jigglypuff, but that didn't mean they were going to collect more as time went on. For some reason her mind was on Aurea, and the Eevee and Jigglypuff she gave the both of them. How long did both of them know her and how would they never evolve? On a different note, the way Elio looked at Aurea as if she was a goddess-
She shook her head at the thought, remembering that the had only come into their friendship after 7 years. Those four years were the best years of her life, and she had developed feelings to the point of mustering up the courage to kiss him on the last day before she left for Alola. Then, she saw her father run for mayor of the city, and immediately after is when her whole life changed and she may have not been able to keep her promise. Thinking that to herself hurt her. She wanted to see the person she loved, that she wanted to love her back.
"Selene, are you okay?" Elio asked, letting the food sit.
"I'm fine, why do you ask?" she asked.
"You don't look okay. You look like you are about to cry. Like something might cause you to burst out crying."
"I was just- remembering. Remembering the four years we met, became best friends, and made the promise before I came her. And then the seven years following were like hell. My father- It was like something came over him, something that I haven't seen happen. Like he was possessed." she said, tears starting to flow down her face.
Elio wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into a hug, while rubbing her back. She flinched for a bit, not liking the comfortableness of the situation. But she let the back-rubbing and warmth soothe her. Her sobs started to diminish, and slowly she pulled away from his chest to meet his gaze.
"Thank you- for cheering me up, and allowing me to tag along on this adventure." she said, sniffling.
"It's alright, Selene. We have to make up for seven years lost time anyway." he replied.
"Deli-bird!" a sound said.
Selene jumped as the sound reached her ears. As Selene and Elio turned towards the sound, a Delibird appeared in front of them, jumping up and down.
"Is something wrong, Delibird?" Elio asked.
"Deli!" it shouted, ushering them to follow.
As Elio let the fire stop, Selene grabbed their traveling supplies and gave containers to Elio to place the food in. As the Delibird waited and Elio got the food into containers, Selene healed up the Pokemon.
"Alright, take us were you need to go, Delibird." Selene said as they had finished gathering everything.
"Deli!" it shouted, running away.
As Elio and Selene followed it, the noticed that they were approaching the Berry Farm, and that there were two identical blue-haired gangster looking people.
"Yo man, we just wanted your berries to lure Pokemon, bro." one of them said.
"Ya man, don't make us force them from you, yo." the other said.
"You two are nothing but trouble, run along before someone serves you right." The old man said.
"Bro, that like, totally isn't our problem, yo." The second one said.
"Sounds like we need to put you in your place then." Selene said, stepping forward.
Elio immediately stepped in suit behind her, taking a hold of his Litten's Poke Ball.
"Yo, you two need to like, chill and let us handle this, bro." the first grunt said.
"And you two don't belong here, so please just leave." Elio said.
"Battle us then, loser has to leave."
"Deal. Let's go Rowlet." Selene said.
Rowlet and Litten landed onto the ground, followed by the two grunts sending out a Rattata and a Zubat.
"Rowlet, hit the Rattata with Leafage."
"Litten, Bite the Zubat."
As the fight dragged on, Litten and Rowlet were starting to get weaker.
"This isn't working, how are we going to manage to beat them?" Elio said.
"Just give up dudes, you two are like, so totally toast!" one of the grunts said, laughing.
"Noibat, use Draco Meteor." Aurea's voice said.
"Noi-Noibat!" the sound of a bat said.
Suddenly the ground surrounding the Zubat and Ratatta became a dust storm. As it cleared, the Zubat and Rattata had fainted.
"Yo, what the crap?" the second grunt told the first one.
"You two should leave now. You've lost and you both have no Pokemon able to fight." Aurea said, appearing out of thin air before Elio and Selene.
"Yo she just appeared out of thin air!" the first grunt said.
"We can't beat them now, let's scram, bro!" the second grunt said.
The two grunts bolted after returning the Pokemon, and the Noibat carefully nudged it's body onto Aurea's neck.
"I have to thank you three-" the old man started.
"Thank them. I only came here to provide support for the both of them. Plus, I don't prefer being gifted anything. I haven't for a long time." Aurea said.
"Oh, then I have you two to thank. Please, take these Oran Berries as a sign of my thanks." The Berry Farmer said, handing Elio and Selene both Oran Berries.
"You're very welcome, and thank you for the berries." Elio said.
Selene looked at Aurea, a mild hatred forming on her face. Who was she? Why was she here?
"Elio, Selene. Please, follow me. There are a few things I would like to speak to you about. About the Legends, and about future events that are to come." Aurea said.
Selene and Elio than started to walk with Aurea, until the arrived at a small shack, situated with a stone roof.
"Pretty small house you've got here." Elio said.
"It's much larger than you think, just step inside. The both of you." Aurea said.
Even though Selene didn't want to talk with her any further, she did as she was asked. Both of them stepped in through the small hut, which housed what was probably an entire different area. A light blue sky, a bright green field, and on top of that, a giant luxurious house that was surrounded at points with pillars.
"What is this place?" Elio asked.
"This place, is my home. It's been my home for- many... many years. Come further, into the house." Aurea said.
As they walked through the small meadow, Selene got a chill down her spine. How was a woman able to change the appearance of the shack's interior to that of an entirely different area.
"I'm not what you think I may be, Selene." she said.
"Wha- how did you know what I was thinking about?" Selene asked.
"All will be told when we get to my home." Aurea said.
"You can read minds? Cool, what am I thinking about?" Elio said.
Aurea stopped- her head turning down. Elio stopped and so did Selene.
"Aurea-" Selene said.
"You're thinking about your father. About his disappearance and death. You're thinking about how you want to do this challenge, and prove that you can accomplish things, making a promise you made for Selene long ago come true." Aurea said.
Selene stared at Elio, whose eyes turned agape. And then looked down with agony.
"Elio, you'll be okay. If you need to cry I'm here." Selene said, trying to comfort him.
"I'll- I'll be fine for now." Elio said.
They finally arrived at the house, entering it. It was a massive library, bookshelves lined everywhere, and a small chair with a fire place near it was stationed.
"We're here." Selene said.
"Yes. And, I guess it's time to give you some backstory, and to apologize to you Elio, for going to places I shouldn't speak about. I know that the feelings of mortals are a sensitive part of their way of life." Aurea said.
"They are. Now, what do you want to talk with us about?" Elio said.
Aurea slowly turned her head towards the fireplace. She motioned her hand and the fire started to arise. She then extended her hand out leftward, and a map flew in and stationed itself above the fireplace, it's parts lighting up miraculously.
"Long ago, this continent, Ransei, was inhabited by the first humans who shared a bond with their Pokemon so strong, there was no need for Poke Balls. Stories were told that whoever united the 18 kingdoms would be able to meet the Legendary Pokemon who created Ransei and the world. This sought out two people. The first, was a man named Nobunaga, a person who shared a bond with the Black Dragon of Ideals, Zekrom, and the Darkened Version of the Sky Guardian, Rayquaza. The second, a man named Azai Nagasami, the first Emperor of Ransei. His companion throughout his entire quest was an Eevee, one he never chose to evolve out of the bond he shared with the Eevee. But he was not alone. Along with him, stood Nobunaga's younger sister, Oichi, with her Jigglypuff. The two men fought for a different reason." Aurea said.
"The first one to destroy the Creator-" Elio said.
"and the second one to make a peaceful world." Selene replied.
"Yes. Azai completed this mission, making the world a peaceful place. With the Arceus the Creator, he ruled the world peacefully alongside his wife, Oichi. And for many centuries, the world was at peace."
"What- happened?"
"Even though the Legendary Pokemon, every single one of them, gave the world and its inhabitants kindness and prosperity, there was one Pokemon who sought to take out the light of the world with Pokemon that joined him. It was this Pokemon that Arceus banished, sent to an alternate dimension, the Ultra Dimension, and the Pokemon that joined him became known as Ultra Beasts."
"Professor Kukui's wife was talking about the Ultra Beasts." Selene started.
"What does any of this have to do with us?" Elio said.
Aurea turned towards the both of them.
"When I see the both of you, Azai and Oichi go through my mind. They were kind, peaceful, and loving towards those around them and each other. That Eevee belonged to Azai, and the Jigglypuff belonged to Oichi. But- there is one more thing I would like to give to the both of you." Aurea said.
She pulled out a white and golden flute that had small wheels on it.
"This- is the Eclipse Flute. With this being played, Arceus will be summoned, to bring aid to this world, to stop it from falling into darkness." she said.
Elio looked at her, taking the flute from her hands. Selene took a look at Aurea, and tried to recall her memory of Arceus. Was Aurea-
"Yes. I am Selene." Aurea said, a small smile coming to her lips.
Selene gaze widened, and slowly, her eyes became heavy, and she ended up with a thud.
And there is Chapter 6! Chapter 7 will be out tomorrow, Promise. G'whatever time of day! ~Xe
