"Mohinder?"
The man that came toward me (eyes starting as if he wished to devour my flesh, and I bet he still might do just that) wasn't the one that I had left almost a year ago, he was something else entirely.
(and no longer wrapped around each of my fingers like he once was so very long ago)
"Elle, stay back, don't you look at me!"
But it was far too late, both of my eyes, that were widening in surprise as they took in each and every part of the creature, that used to be a man that once was one of my little toys.
"Holy-"
-
"Stop looking at me like that."
Out of all his requests (that mostly contained 'don't look at me') this one seemed to be the hardest of them all.
Because at the beginning fear had engulfed every part of me (even if I tried the hardest to hide it away ) as my eyes fell on the monster before me.
"Now that's going to be hard, what the hell happened to you anyway?"
"I wanted power and this is what that greed to me."
For a moment the face before me (that I had kissed in each and every way, one that was so very pretty) morphed into the one that had been over me at almost all of my near-death experiences, Sylar.
(son of a bitch, stupid little crazy girl for falling for it and sick sadistic evil serial killer that lives up to his name and his death will be talked about forever)
"And who does that remind you of, Mohinder?"
"At lest I'm trying not to be like him, I'm trying so damn hard, El."
The face (as if you could call it that) before filled with crocodile tears that I had seen and supplied so many time before.
"You could always try harder, I doubt your neighbors are hanging in your back room by choice."
"Fine, now what the hell happened to you?"
All that happened within the month came slamming back into my head, Sylar the way his lips seemed to fit my own but sadly his finger tips also fit my forehead.
"Fate and she's a bitch."
