Chapter 2
Later that day in Lorelai's office at The Independence Inn she picks up the phone and calls Karen.
''Stottlemeyer Residence.'' Karen says
''Hi Karen?'' Lorelai questions
''Yes?'' Karen says
''Hi it'a Lorelai Gilmore.'' Lorelai tells her
''Oh Hi Lorelai how are you doing?'' Karen asks her
''Oh Good what about you?'' Lorelai asks her
''just great!'' Karen tells her
''aww well that's good.'' Lorelai says
''yea.'' Karen says
''so um how is Rory?'' Lorelai asks her
''Is she doing just great she actucally has a gymnastic's show on Saturday which you are invited and welcome to come to if you want.'' Karen tells her
''aww maybe I'll look into it I'll check my schedule and talk to my husband to see if he wants to go.'' Lorelai tells her
''Okay that sounds great she will be excited!'' Karen tells her
''so where are you guy's living now?'' Lorelai asks her
''oh about you are you still in Stars Hollow?'' Karen asks her
''I am and I think I actucally saw you guy's at the park today.'' Lorelai tells her
''Yea we were there you didn't come over to say Hi?'' Karen asks her
''No I just wasn't sure how to approach you guy's or how Rory would take meeting me for the first time.'' Lorelai tells her
''oh well I'm sure it all would of been okay.'' Karen tells her
''I guess so how she is doing in school?'' Lorelai asks her
''great just great she is the top of her class she's very bright.'' Karen tells her
''aww that's good.'' Lorelai says
''yea we are really proud of the way she is growing up.'' Karen tells her
''aww yea I bet.'' Lorelai says
