Prompt: Bathroom Scale
Pairing/Characters: Draco Malfoy & Harry Potter
NOTE:Rated T for one questionable word.
"Potter! Potter, wait up!"
Groaning, Harry skidded to a halt. Slowly, he turned around to face one Draco Malfoy (who else?).
"What, Malfoy? I have a meeting," Harry glanced at his battered old watch, "shit-five minutes ago! If you need papers signed, I can do them this afternoon."
"Can you not care about yourself for about one bloody minute, Potter?" Malfoy snapped. "I have a… peace offering.."
"A peace offering," Harry echoed.
"Of sorts."
"For me."
"How slow can you be? Yes, Potter, a peace offering for you!" said Malfoy, rolling his eyes. "Here." He thrust a badly-wrapped present forward.
"Er, what is it?" asked Harry curiously, poking it with his wand.
"It's a scale," Malfoy responded proudly. "A bathroom scale."
"As kind as the thought was, Malfoy, please explain to me why I would possibly need a bathroom scale," grinned Harry.
"Well, I heard that the Weaselette was pregnant," said Malfoy slowly, "so I thought I'd give you this. Women like to weigh themselves quite often during pregnancy." He neglected to mention how obsessively Astoria had been checking her weight on the scale, complaining of being fat.
"Really?" asked Harry cluelessly. "Gin tried to avoid the scale when we had James."
"First-time pregnancy can lead to insecurity," explained Malfoy with a smirk. "Now that she's on her second pregnancy, she'll want to feel strong and prepared."
"I see," said Harry slowly. "Well, er… thanks?"
"No problem, Potter," Malfoy smirked. "See you around."
"Right," said Harry, checking his watch again. "Well, I'd better be off." With an awkward wave, he turned around, and headed to the elevator. Malfoy stood, watching him with a smirk.

Draco smirked. He couldn't wait to hear the screams when Potter gave his six months-pregnant wife a scale.
Because everybody knew you never mentioned the word fat around a pregnant woman…
