Yuki sat at the table of the Headmaster's house. Her mother and father were in the next room discussing plans for the school with the Headmaster. Yuki's mother and father were in charge of the Night Class, while Kaien was in charge of the Day Class. "Yuki, are you studying?" called Juri. "Yes, mother," replied Yuki. Yuki was supposed to be preparing for exams. She was trying to, but she didn't understand any of it. She heard the door open and two people walk in. Yuki got up to see who was there, but got confused when Yagari was the only new person there. "Hello." Yuki turned around in complete surprise. Behind her was Zero. "How did you get there?" asked Yuki. "You do know that you aren't the only vampire, right?" asked Zero sarcastically, "What are you doing?" "Studying," replied Yuki. "It doesn't look like you've done anything. Won't your mom be angry?" Zero stated. Yuki looked pale; her mother was scary when she was angry. "Do you need help?" asked Zero. Yuki shook her head, "Yes please?"
Zero picked up the papers that Yuki had been "studying". "You would pass the exams if it was on doodling," stated Zero. Yuki hit him, softer than she usually did. After a couple of minutes, Zero said, "Here I wrote down all the equations, vocab, and I put examples." Yagari walked in, "Time to leave Zero." Zero glared at him, but didn't stand a chance in convincing him otherwise. "Bye Yuki. See you during class on Monday," Zero said. Then he followed Yagari out. Yuki thought to herself that she was definitely going to pass now, until she saw the notes. "How am I supposed to read this!" The three remaining adults started laughing amongst themselves. She forgot Zero's handwriting was horrible.
