Just Pull the Trigger

When it all becomes too much for Percy, there is only one question- death, or not? Rated T for suicide.

A short piece about what would happen if Percy became fed up with it all, and decided to forcibly end it all. 190 words in all.

I hold the gun to my head. I know that it will kill me. All I have to do is pull the trigger. It's all anyone has to do, really. They put so much expectation on me. The chosen one. The words echo in my ears. They all think that I am the bloody chosen one. This war, these quests, have only shown me what a coward I am. I couldn't save anyone; I didn't have the guts to. But I think that I will have enough strength to do this one thing. They'll just have to manage without me. Chosen one, indeed. I pull the trigger.

Hours later, the ocean pounds the shore, and a hurricane like no other is created. The mortals name it Percy, ironically enough. Thunder boom across all the sky, and everything seems a little bit gloomier.

A few days later, everyone is terrified. The mortals have painfully been made aware that Titans do exist. Far away, in the eternal darkness known as the Underworld, a single soul look at the destruction Kronos has reaped. He smiles bitterly. You all deserved it, you selfish bitches.

This is my story, and I wrote it for me. You can review if you want to. I know that it's a bit cliché, but I liked writing it. I'm new to this author business, so I express my apologies if it's a piece of crap. Now, for the news: I am going to be writing a Harry Potter story, but it is a write-as-I-go story. It's in the phase of outlining now, but hopefully I will get the first chapter out soon. Beware, I'm an extremely slow writer, and it will likely be a couple months between updates. I have promised myself that I will finish it, but go ahead and pester me for updates. I welcome all reviewers, and will do my best to reply if necessary.
