Here is a short chapter sorry for the delay but life happens and sometime you can't control what is happen. But I love this story and plan on finishing it. So here is pt one Villains: Dragon's Thorns. You all already know this but I will say it again I don't own Inuyasha.
Kagome walked over to Sesshomaru while looking him over for a minute. A hard look of determination was marring her brow. Then she relaxed it into a goofy grin of triumph at having found her prize. Picking up his hand she rubbed a delicate finger over his nail.
"Will you do me the honor of…?" He stopped her right there.
"I will not marry or reproduce with you." She gave him a strange look before falling to the ground. His mother watched this take place and tried to hold back her laughter.
"Very blunt of you my son." She said as her eyes watering a bit.
"I don't want to marry you and I don't want to have your kids." Kagome managed before the laughter over took her.
It took a long moment and a roar of annoyance from Inuyasha to finally get her to calm herself. Sesshomaru didn't know what he was expecting from a Lady Witch but this wasn't it. He also didn't like that she had laughed at him. He found the small witch to be irksome.
"I was asking if you would allow me to cut your nails at dawn." She said holding her side.
His eyes went wide as he heard this. All she was interested in were his nail clippings? True he may believe that no woman could resist his looks. But this was the first time someone actually laughed at them.
"You may have all of the clippings you need if you help to remove four beings from this realm and send them to the netherworld." Kagome took this in from her spot on the floor.
"Only four alright I will do it in exchange for the nail clippings." She said looking at his mother with a grin on her face.
"Well off you go then show them the way my son." His mother said a little too happy.
The forest was thick and full of thorns that tugged at their clothing making it difficult to navigate. Kagome watched as Inuyasha growled with annoyance as another lock of hair became tangled in the branches. Even Sesshomaru looked pissed but he handled it better as the areas that touched him seemed to die. The witch plucked the hairs from the branches while following on her broom. Shippo hid in her overcoat that repelled the sticky thorns.
Turning Inuyasha pointed an accusing finger at her. "What the hell you wench sitting all pretty on that broom of yours untouched by these thorns while I am going bald over here." He cried showing off the patch.
Sesshomaru didn't care either way about the irksome woman. "Stop acting like a newborn Inuyasha." Kagome made and O with her mouth before nearly falling off her broom stick.
Inuyasha clutched his hand feeling angry. As Inuyasha felt the hit with a giant boomerang to the back of the head. He clutched his head as a woman in armor came out looking dangerous. "Let me handle this we have no time to waste on petty weaklings." Sesshomaru said staring at Inuyasha.
"You may go no further or face the wrath of a slayer. My name is Sango and I protect lord Ryūkotsusei. Leave now or perish." The brunette said looking even more hostile.
Kagome touched Sesshomaru's chest lightly. "I will handle this one big guy." She said with confidence.
With a bright smile Kagome held out her hand. "Nice to meet you I am Kagome a witch." The young women didn't draw any closer. "Careful one huh well this doesn't rely on how far or close you are." Kagome said before whispering a few words then letting loose a small storm of dust particles.
Sleep over took the trained slayer. "Keh that was too easy." Inuyasha said kicking the woman while she was down.
"Let us move on." Sesshomaru ordered.
"We are taking her with us. So start caring Day boy." Kagome order the vampire that took lip from no one.
Inuyasha watched as the lording vampire went and picked up the sleeping girl. Open mouth he couldn't believe such a prideful being would lower himself to follow a simple witches command. Sesshomaru ignore the stares of his half-brother.
