Chapter 10

"Ed..Ed.. ED!"

Roy gasped and shot up. It was just a nightmare? He looked down next to him and saw Ed sleeping peacefully. Thank god.

"Roy..?" Ed asked sitting up, wiping his eyes.

God he was beautiful, "yes my love?"

"Do we have to go to work today?"

"I'm afraid so, but hey, if we finish early we might be able to make dinner!" Roy said.

Ed's smile widened at the mention of food. Roy swore, he could be having the worst day but put a pile of food in front of him and instant smile.

"Lets hurry up and go then!"

Upon arriving at the office, it seemed the mood was lighter. Roy looked over at Edward and smiled. Things seemed to be going okay.

Just then Riza burst in. Her face pale, her eyes red. Roy knew something was wrong.

"R-Roy.." She collapsed on the floor.

"Lieutenant?!" He ran over to her and picked her up.

Ed ran over as well and moved her head up to rest on his knees.

"I..he..no.."

"Hawkeye?" Ed whispered.

"Riza take a deep breath and tell us what happened," Roy said.

"...he..he r-r..k-killed..r-rapeeee—" she cut off with a sob.

The two men shared a look. Roy saw fear in Ed's eyes. It couldn't be, could it?

"I-I couldn't s..s-stop t-t-t-them."

"..M-Marcoh..?" Ed asked.

They felt Riza shiver and she stopped sobbing. Her face turned an even whiter shade and was contorted in fright.

"Y-yes..b-but no. E...E-Envy.. Raped me and...Killed..them while they w-watched.."

"Them..?" Roy asked softly, feeling as if he was going to be sick.

"...F-Fa..B-Bre.." She stammered.

"Please Riza."

"Falman and Breda.. They're dead..h-he killed them."

Ed gasped, Roy's heart dropped, "n-no.."

"I-I tried to save them sir." She said.

Roy stood and stumbled over to his desk. He sat down and buried his head. Why did all this keep happening? Nobody deserved it. That creature must be stopped.

Ed stood slowly and walked over to Roy.

"Colonel." Ed said formally.

Roy looked up at his young lover feebly. Ed looked so strong, so sure of himself and his skills.

"You have to stay strong, we will have time to mourn after we make this bastard pay for what he's done."

Roy knew Ed was right. He needed to alert the higher-ups. They needed to focus the entire military on catching Envy.

Ed held out his hand. Roy took it and stood, he touched Ed's cheek softly.

"Thank you," he whispered.

Ed nodded solemnly. Roy walked over to Riza and helped her stand. She was still a mess, but she was still in shock so it made sense.

"Hawkeye, I want you to go see the doctor downstairs. Tell him everything that happened. Ed and I are going to find this bastard."

"I..I can't. I don't see how I can talk about it," she said avoiding his eyes.

"You can...trust me, if not with a doctor than with someone you care for," Ed said glancing over at Roy.

"I'll make sure a counselor gets down here and I'll send word for Rebecca," Roy said.

"T-thank you," she said.

She turned and walked out, the door shutting behind her silently. The room was filled with emotions and tension. Roy wanted nothing more than to burn that piece of shit alive. Watch him slowly die.

"I know you're filled with anger but don't act so quickly, we need a plan," Ed said.

"H-how can you be so damn calm?"

"Because he raped me. I want nothing more than for him to stop, but I know the pain you're all feeling..all I needed was somebody strong there for me and I got you. I'm trying to do the same," Ed said.

"But Breda and Falman.."

"I-I know..that bastard will pay," he whispered.

Roy looked into those golden eyes and say hatred. Pure hatred masked with strength. Could they really pull this off? Roy's team was falling apart. How were they going to get through this?

"Roy..don't cry," Ed said.

Oh? He hadn't realized he'd been crying. Roy blinked and a tear fell down his cheek. He felt weak and defenseless.

'Probably how Ed felt too..?'

Roy stood and wiped his eyes. He took a deep breath and looked over at the blonde. Their eyes met. Roy felt so lucky. He had a great life with Ed. He needed to remember that in hard times.

"Lets go.. We need to figure out a plan."

Ed nodded following behind. He grabbed Roy's hand and forced him to turn around. He kissed Roy softly and smiled.

"We'll be okay." He said.

"I hope so."

After the interviews and statements and long conversations, Roy was exhausted. All he wanted was a relaxing bath.

He got up and headed for the tub. He slowly got in and turned down the lights. He lit the small candle in the corner and sighed.

There was a knock, "hey I'm home."

"Come in love," Roy said.

Ed walked in and laughed, "relaxed?"

"Be more relaxed if you were in with me," Roy said smirking.

Ed smiled and starting stripping his clothes. Roy couldn't take his eyes off of him. He was absolutely stunning. So muscular and tan. His mouth began to water.

"Something on your mind there Colonel?"

Roy snapped out of it and saw Ed sitting across from him, a smile as wide as his face. He pulled the braid out of his hair and lay back.

"It's just been a rough day.."

"Yeah..that's why I brought us that," Ed said pointing to the ground where he laid a bottle of wine and two glasses.

"One more reason to love you," Roy said grabbing and pouring them two glasses.

They sipped, and slowly Roy felt better. Sure he was losing his team and that bastard was still out there but was it a crime to try and enjoy those happy moments in life?

"Roy?" Ed asked, breaking Roy out of his thoughts.

"I just wanted to say..I'm sorry about last night when I pushed you away. I guess I'm still kind of sensitive. I know you won't hurt me. Sex with you is amazing. I've never felt better..he just haunts my thoughts. I'm slowly forgetting though, thanks to you.."

"Oh Edo.." Roy said inching closer.

"Make me forget again Roy..please?"

"Oh yes my darling."

He pulled Ed close against his body and made him forget again and again and again.

..hi xD I'm sooooo sorry for being gone so long. And I'm so sorry this is short. I've just gone through a lot but I'm glad to be back. I had some MAJOR writers block and I rewrote this chapter so many times. In one version I had them all dying xD this story is about done. A few more chapters.
