Hey everyone! I got a lot of positive feedback for the last chapter so I wanted to write the next one right away! So anyway I hope you like it

Beck's pov

I wanted to keep Jade's necklace but I knew I had to turn it into the police. I wouldn't want to take a piece of evidence that could help us find her. They were very grateful and asked to see where I found it. It felt good to have the police with me; it felt like we were finally getting somewhere and working together to find Jade.

When we arrived at the scene they found tire marks and some blood on a dead leaf at the edge of the woods. We were hot on their trail I just knew it! I've watched too many cop shows in the past that I knew that from the tire marks they could find the type of vehicle and hopefully the blood could give us the name and face of the kidnapper.

I was in my RV now lying on the bed thinking as usual. I let out a long sigh before rolling off and standing beside it. I had to go to school. I didn't want to go but I know I owed my friends an explanation as to what was happening. Jade's story hadn't been broadcasted yet so not many people knew what was going on.

I swallowed a hard lump in my throat and slowly started getting dressed. I smoothed out my hair before heading out to my truck and started it. All I had to do was get through the day I told myself. Just get through it and find Jade soon.

Jade's pov

I've been in this room for almost over 24 hours. More and more girls have been thrown in but they've slowed and I can sense something is going to happen, something bad. There is another American girl now too. Her name is Amanda and she doesn't say much, but none of us really do so she fits right in.

Eve has basically explained everything to me seeing how she's been here the longest. She told me her story of how she was taken. It was dark and she had just finished her shift at the mall, she had walked out into the parking lot and there were two men under her car waiting for her.

When I told her my story she said that my boyfriend, Beck, must be worried sick and searching all over the place for me. I sighed and thought of Beck and how easy it would be for him to move on and just be with Vega or some other slut at our school.

I reached up to touch my necklace that matched Beck's. A state of panic washed over me instantly when I found nothing around my neck. I frantically patted the ground around me to see if it was around me somewhere but it was gone.

Enraged now I clenched my fists and grit my teeth. "Those bastards took everything from me. Who gave them the right to take my life into their hands? I'm Jade West!" I said aloud to Eve and Amanda. They both turned to me in confusion but also agreement about their own lives.

"I'm getting us out of here" I said with a small grin. Knowing I could come up with something. After all I'm still Jade West; even after this…I'm still the same old devious Jade.

Beck's pov

I walked into school late but not caring so much about it. I slinked on to my algebra class that was nearly over hoping I wouldn't have to explain myself much. My wish came true when my teacher took my late pass no questions asked. I took my seat in the second row and opened my book, not really intending to pay attention.

I thought about where jade might be. She could be in some shed locked up with no water or food, she could be chained up in some creeps basement or even dead. I shook the thought away trying to clear my head of the awful thoughts. Jade wasn't dead, that's what I kept telling myself that is, but I knew Jade was too strong to die. No jade wouldn't die from this, she's going to die of old age or in her sleep, peacefully like she's deserves.

Before I knew it the bell rang and we all headed to our next class which for me just so happened to be Sikowitz. On one hand I was happy to go to my favorite class but on the other hand I would have to explain Jade's absence to our friends. When I walked into the classroom I saw Andre turn in my direction and smile. I tried to mirror his expression but I was just too damaged right now to fake joy.

"Hey beck! Where's Jadey?" exclaimed cat. I looked at her almost in disbelief that she would ask such a thing. I had to remind myself that none of them had any idea about what happened. I sighed deeply and ran a hand through my hair before sitting next to her.

"She's um…I don't know where she is" I answered trying to avoid the truth, however when I thought about that statement more I realized just how true it was. She looked a bit stunned that I didn't know where my other half was at the time but she dropped it figuring we probably just had a fight and weren't talking at the moment. I wished so much that that was what really happened. That Jade and I just had a little fight. I wished she was just mad at me or furious even. In fact I'd be thrilled if we had broken up for good, as long as she was safe.

"How can you not know where she is?" Tori piped up, interrupting my thoughts. Tori was sitting next to Andre and in front of me. She had her entire body turned around in her chair to look interestingly at me. Tori was always overstepping her boundaries and asking about things others wouldn't dare to ask. I guess that's why people like her so much; she doesn't really care what other people think. I smile half -heartedly, I find it ok because every time she asks something like that, it's only because she wants to help.

"well you guys aren't going to want to hear this…I don't want to believe it myself but I guess since it hasn't been on the news yet, it's only fair for me to tell you" I started trying to avoid coming right out with it. I waited until they were all facing me listening with curiosity. "Jade was over my place the other night, Friday to be exact and she wanted to walk home like she sometimes does instead of me driving her. She just likes the night you know…" I was stalling and I knew it. I needed to get to the point. I took a deep breath, "Jade was taken on her way home. The police don't have any leads yet but we have a couple clues. I'm waiting for them to call me with news about the case."

Jade's pov

I had to force myself to think of something to get us out of here. And no I wasn't about to leave Eve and Amanda, I'm not heartless. I kept asking myself, what Jade West would do, the real Jade West that isn't scared out of her mind. Eve was scratching at the floorboards and Amanda was lying on her stomach praying frantically. I know they have both probably lost it but I refuse to ditch them to save myself.

Just then, the thought hit me like a bullet in the back. The one thing that I always have on me no matter what; scissors. I searched myself for anything scissor like. I checked my pockets and my jacket but there was nothing. I was ready to give up the search and admit defeat when I thought to check one last place. I reached into my boot and found them!

I grabbed Eve's arm in excitement and she turned to me almost startled by my abrupt change in attitude. "What is it?" she asked her eyes wide and filled with exhaustion. She was such a broken soul and she deserved to get out of here as much as I did. Actually she probably deserved to even more than me seeing how she had been enslaved here for so long. The bastards hardly feed her or anyone else for that matter.

"Look what I found!" I said with a sly grin as I flashed the scissors in my boot. Her face lit up for the first time since we had met.

"Scissors? Where did you get those?" she asked intrigued. "We could use those to get out you know, pick a lock maybe stab a couple of people" Eve said with a big grin. I grinned back at her in the same way wanting to hurt the people who put us here is something we definitely had in common. Don't get me wrong though, before this I would never actually hurt someone, but somehow it seemed perfectly acceptable in this situation.

"Exactly! We just have to wait for the right time to strike. I'll keep them in my show for now and when we have a chance to escape we can use them" I said satisfied with my plan. Eve nodded and she crawled over to Amanda to tell her the news. I knew I could do it; I just had to bring the old Jade West back. The real Jade refuses to be beat by this.

My friends looked at me stunned at the information I just told them. "Are you for real?" Andre asked with the most shocked expression I had ever seen painted on his face. I nodded slowly and looked at my hands that rested in my lap. Tears started to fill my eyes knowing that it was all my fault and that they would think so too.

"Why are you in school? Shouldn't you be looking for her or something?" exclaimed Robbie looking around at the others. I looked at him with what I'm guessing was an angry expression because he shied away as soon as I looked up at him.

"I came to school to tell you guys what happened, not for anything other than that. I want to look for her, I need to find her. There is no way I'm giving up so don't think I am ok" I said I bit harshly. With that Robbie and cat glanced at each other and turned away from me. I checked my phone. No new messages. I mentally cursed out the police team. Why weren't they taking this case more seriously? Jade was out there somewhere in danger and they acted like they didn't even care!

"-ck…Beck, earth to beck?" I heard someone call who I soon realized to be Tori.

"Huh, what?" I said apologetically coming out of my rage fit.

"Your phone is going off, you should probably look to see if it's-"

I hastily checked my phone and realized I had gotten a couple new messages from the head policeman on Jade's case. "It's the police, they have a lead!"

Ok so I'm leaving it there for now sorry this took a lot longer than I had originally expected but I have some big exams coming up so I might not publish another chapter in a bit. So read and review and let me know how the story is going for you!
