Hey! Okay, so it is inexcusable how long I have left this with no update! I swear, I don't enjoy leaving you guys with the pain of no update, and sometimes, yes, it does take about a month to update…

So, I guess I'm really, really, sorry, and I hope that you like this new chapter, and that you don't hate me!

And sorry to the people who think this might be a little too sexual for Divergent, or not "classy" enough, I did rate it M, so go read another fanfic, instead of complaining on mine, thanks.

CHAPTER TWELVE

CHRISTINA

I am so done.

So

Incredibly

Done.

"Get out." I tell him, as the door opens. I sit on the couch that Tris was sitting on just hours ago. I can't believe how long I let this go on. It's ridiculous.

It's not just ridiculous, it's cowardly. I don't know how I managed to teach these kids on how to be dauntless when I can hardly be called dauntless myself. It's time to face up to all this bullshit, it's time to stop living in a fantasy, and it's time to smack reality in the face.

"What?" he closes the door with a mischievous smile, and drops his coat on the coffee table. He thinks I'm playing some sort of game. He takes some shuffled steps over to the couch, and then he crouches down in front of me. He smiles widely, his beautifully white teeth shining at me, and the crease between his eyebrows popping out at me, making him look irresistible.

My god, calm down, Christina.

"Hey." He says, letting out a small breath that intoxicates m-

No it doesn't, you hate him.

"Hey, Christina, hey. What's wrong?" the crease between his eyebrows grows, as his eyebrows knit together, and he looks up at me with this alluring look, the look he gives me when he wants to have sex.

In fact, that's probably what he wants.

"Ugh, yuck."

"Christina - ?"

"No, Will, I want you to get out."

"Christina," he puts his hands around my arms, and I let out a shiver, as I picture those hands on Kaya's arms. As I picture them toying with the rest of her body. As I picture them toying with mine, hours after he did hers. "Christina, what's going on? What's wrong? Just tell me." I'm about to open my mouth when someone else does, for me.

"Everyone knows about how you get around."

"Tris?" Will says.

"Yep." She says, folding her arms and standing up behind me.

"Tris…" I start.

"NO. Christina, stand up for yourself. Will, I have kept this in for a while now, and I can't believe how much I protected you, over a thing that was so disgusting."

Will stares at us with a blank face, a wild look in his eyes.

I can tell what's going on in his mind. Basic human survival instinct – it's something he told me about that he learnt back when he was in Erudite.

Fight, or Flight.

"What are you two talking about?!"

"Oh, SHUT UP WILL! You and KAYA!" Tris yells.

"WHAT?!"

"GET OUT!"

"WHAT?!"

"GET OUT!" Tris screams at him. "TAKE YOUR STUFF, AND GET OUT!"

I'm starting to tremble a bit at everything that's going on, and my eyes start to get cloudy with tears.

"Christina, she's lying to you, I would never-"

"I SAW YOU FUCKING HER!" Tris yells at the top of her voice.

"TRIS CALM DOWN!" I yell. The shout takes a lot of breath out of me and suddenly I need to take in a lot of air, but I don't want to because it'll be all quivery and shaky, and they'll both know that I'm crying.

So I just stand there, with no air, blinking at them as they blink at me, staring at me, waiting for something to happen.

"Huu-ugh-huh"

"Christina-" they both say, with an equal amount of care in their voices. To be honest I don't care about either of their amounts of care. I want both of them to just leave. I catch my breath and slowly think about the next few words I want to say.

"Okay. Will, you've been cheating on me. Don't deny it, I've known it for months. Tris, you've completely ruined this whole thing, I wanted to say it on my own, and you've gone ahead and done it for me. Thank you, for your help, I'm not mad. Just go. Will, take your stuff, and leave."

"Where am I supposed to go?" Will asks.

"Don't try and get a fucking sympathy vote from her you prick, you cheated on her, go sleep at your mistress' place."

"TRIS."

"CHRISTINA."

"Tris, I want you to get out, right now." She pats me on the shoulder.

"Sorry."

"Thanks." I say. She pats me again and then leaves, without looking at either of us. The entire room stands completely still as soon as she leaves. It's just me and Will.

"So."

"So, you've been cheating on me."

"Well, y-"

"I don't want an explanation, Will, I don't want that. I don't want to try and piece this puzzle back together, because you've thrown away half the pieces, and I know that it's just not going to work. I want you to leave, like I've told you so many times in the past few minutes. I want you to just leave me, and I don't want to speak to you, again. I don't want you to try speaking to me, I want you to just leave me alone.

"Christina, I love you."

"If you really loved me, you wouldn't have cheated on me."

"I made a mistake, everyone does, honey."

"Don't."

"I love you." He takes two steps up to me and grabs me by the arms again. "I love you." He says again. Tears roll out of my eyes and on to my cheeks.

He kisses me.

It's strange when someone kisses you, and you don't kiss back. It's strange, because it's so numb. It makes me feel like I'm a dead body. No one should be kissing me. Especially not him.

He pulls back and looks at me with one final pleading look.

"I love you."

I don't even think twice about replying.

"Yeah, well I don't."

Okay, so that was a pretty small chapter, and I know it was a little bit simple, but the action is coming back guys, this mushiness, I promise is going to be crushed with a fight here and there, and a whole new part to Eric's death.

Thank you for continuing reading this fanfic, it really means a lot to me.

Love you people! Please leave reviews on what you think!
