Now with the right chapter added! Sorry about that.

Sasuke woke up to a sore back and something heavy sprawled across his chest; never mind the fact that the sun was shining harshly in his face. His first thought was had he gotten drunk last night and hooked up with someone? That didn't seem like him at all. Slowly, the previous night came back to him.

Sasuke opened his eyes slowly and looked down at his sleeping companion. He couldn't help smiling at how cute and peaceful Naruto looked when asleep. The expression soon changed to revulsion when he noticed the puddle of drool on his shirt coming from Naruto's mouth.

"Get off, Dobe," he growled, shoving Naruto off of him and sitting up.

Naruto groaned, slowly opening his tired eyes. Was it time to get up already? As things slowly came into focus, the gardener finally fully recognized Sasuke. He yelped and quickly scooted away from the Uchiha.

"Sasuke, what the hell are you doing in my bed?" he shouted. A small pause, then Naruto started to take in his surroundings. "This isn't my bedroom."

"Tch, no kidding," Sasuke grumbled, holding the wet part of his shirt away from his skin, staring at it in disgust.

Naruto blinked owlishly at Sasuke.

"What are you doing, 'ttebayo?" he asked.

Sasuke glared at his companion in irritation and answered, "You drooled all over me, ursakontachi."

Naruto chuckled and scratched the back of his head sheepishly. "I did? Oops."

Sasuke continued to scowl at the other male.

Suddenly, Naruto's face lit up as he had a thought. "Let me make it up to you."

Sasuke looked at Naruto suspiciously and asked, "How?"

"You go home and get cleaned up, and I'll make breakfast for you," the blonde offered with a large grin.

Sasuke couldn't exactly say no to that. The Uchiha was certainly not a good cook, and Naruto most definitely was. He was not about to pass up the opportunity for good food, so he answered, "Sounds good, Dobe." Perhaps it wasn't good decorum to insult someone who had just offered to make you food, but Sasuke was still irritated by his shirt, damn it!

About forty-five minutes later, Sasuke was walking over to Naruto's house with still wet hair. He normally took much longer to get ready, but he refused to give Naruto any more reason to call him a woman as he had been for a good portion of the week.

The walk was a short one, for which Sasuke was relieved. It was an incredibly hot day, and he had no fondness for sweating, especially since he had just showered.

He opened the door (Naruto had instructed him to not bother knocking and just come on in) and was immediately greeted with the cool air from the A/C unit and the delicious smell of breakfast. It occurred to him that even though he had been hanging out with Naruto all week, this was only his second time in the house, the first, of course, being when Orochimaru had invited him over for dinner. Shrugging the thought off, Sasuke followed the scent of food to the kitchen.

When he arrived at the kitchen, Sasuke was greeted with the sight of a table covered with all kinds of breakfast goods, and Naruto at the stove pouring water into a cup of ramen.

Sasuke raised an eyebrow. "Looks good, but what's with the ramen?"

"I love ramen!" Naruto replied enthusiastically.

Sasuke rolled his eyes, but sat down at the able anyway. He began to help himself to the food on the table as Naruto sat across from him with the cup ramen and chopsticks.

Sasuke was just about in heaven. The food was delicious. However, Naruto's incessant tapping on the top of his cup ramen was about to drive Sasuke insane.

"Must you do that?" he growled, scowling at Naruto.

"Sorry, it's just that it takes so long to cook," Naruto whined, fidgeting about in his seat.

Sasuke rolled his eyes and went back to eating, nearly choking when Naruto shouted, "Finally!" and ripped the top off the cup and dug into his ramen. The rest of the meal was spent with little being said, though it was far from silent as Naruto slurped down his noodles and a glass of milk. More and more Sasuke was beginning to wonder just how Orochimaru and Naruto had become a couple.

"So what are your plans for today?" Naruto asked as he handed Sasuke a bowl to dry. The house had a dishwasher, but Naruto had decided he felt like doing the dishes by hand this morning.

"On a Saturday? Not much," Sasuke responded.

"Shopping it is!" Naruto exclaimed without even glancing in Sasuke's direction. He did hand him another plate though.

Sasuke sputtered in disbelief. "Excuse me?"

"Shopping," the blonde insisted, shaking the plate at his companion once to remind him it was there.

Still ignoring the dish, said companion responded, "I'm not a girl."

Naruto finally turned to Sasuke, glaring as he snatched the towel out of the other man's hand, drying the dish himself. "Not that kind of shopping, asshole. I need gardening supplies."

Sasuke glared right back. "How the hell was I supposed to know that's what you meant, Dobe?"

"I'm not a girl either," Naruto mumbled petulantly.

"True. Girls don't drool like that," the other man responded, staring off in thought.

"Hey!" the blonde responded, face flushed.

Sasuke's only response was a playful shoulder bump.

Eventually, the dishes did manage to get clean, and the two men made it out into the sweltering heat to buy Naruto's gardening supplies. They made a day of it, including lunch and shopping at the other stores in town (despite both of their earlier protests about "not being girls"). By the time they got back home, the sun was low in the sky. Sasuke helped Naruto water the plants and put away what they'd bought, after which Naruto prepared a simple dinner for the two of them.

They stayed up late talking, eventually falling asleep in the living room.

I don't truly have a good excuse for why this has gone so long with nothing added. Basically, life happened and college drained my creativity. But, as I'm now graduated and have both more time and more inspiration, I'm hoping to continue old projects like this. I feel like the pacing in this is weird, though I mostly blame that on the fact the first half of it was written god knows when, and the second half was written recently. So basically, the thoughts were by no means continuous, as well as the fact I don't write exactly the same as I used to.

And of course I came back in on what is basically a filler chapter. I'm so sorry for having such a lame offering after years of no updates. However, I have a fairly good vision of where I want this to go, and even a ballpark figure of how many more chapter it will be. But at any rate, I hope you guys will stick in there with me, and thank you so much for the continued reviews, favorites, and follows while this story has been on hiatus. It was a huge inspiration in starting it back.

I also apologize for any mistakes as this is unbetaed.
