Hey guys a lot of stuff happened whilst I was gone, I had to edit this to make it look normal XD It messed up again and made it a whole paragraph.
So I'm finally back writing and I promise the story will only get better and better!
Chapter 2: A Day at School
Sakura's eyes were as wide as plates her mouth fell open as she started at the monstrous outfit which was her school's uniform. "I have to wear that?!" She gasped. It was a white shirt with a green vest, the vest had a left symbol on it which was the school's logo, and a short skirt which was plaid green. It was the shortest skirt she had ever seen, she was very uncomfortable with the thought of wearing it. "Yes, it's Konoha's Private School's Uniform" Hatori said holding it up for her, "you are to wear it every day" he said, "I bought you some spares, now get changed and get ready for school" he said.
Sakura frowned, she sighed and took it, "Yes father" she uttered sparsely, still not accepting the fact that girls had to wear such an outfit. Sakura looked down and went into her bathroom to change. She came out all dressed up in uniform; she tugged at the skirt lightly. "Oh my" she said. She sighed a bit, and headed downstairs, she ate some toast and a nice glass of milk. She grabbed her lunch from the fridge and looked at her Father. He waved her off. Sakura sighed and walked off to the car. She got inside and her driver took off swiftly. Sakura looked at the school as they pulled up, she sighed and got out she was not looking forwards to this day. She grabbed her bag and walked inside. She headed to the office and picked up her schedule, she had more common classes to start with, as he father didn't want her to get to overwhelm at first. She smiled a bit as her first class was English, to which she was grateful, as she was good at English, Art was her second, which she deeply looked forward too. She noticed the empty halls and realized she was a bit late.
She didn't want to late and swiftly rushed to find her classroom. She tugged on her skirt and then held onto her bag, she would find her locker later on. Soon she found her room and knocked on the door lightly, a young man opened the door, "hello there?" he asked, and blinked, "Oh!" he said stepping outside closing the door, "You must be Sakura Haruno" He said, Sakura nodded lightly, "Yes, yes I am" She said politely, "Pleasure to meet you" She said. "My name is Setsu Kenori" he said, "You may call me Ken-sensei" he said, Sakura dipped her head, "Pleasure sir". "Let's introduce you to the class" he said walking inside, Sakura followed. "Alright Class! I'd like you to settle down, this is our new student and I want you to make her feel welcomed" He said. The class looked towards Sakura as she entered after him. Most of the guys were staring at her, and the girls glaring, some anyways. Sakura dipped her head, "Hello everyone, my name is Sakura Haruno, it's a pleasure to meet you all" She said to them, she looked up and saw that Kiba was in her class, she smiled at him lightly and he smiled back, but soon she noticed who else was there… Sasuke; at the back table with a few others.
She figured that was the popular kids table, but she hoped she could sit with Kiba. "Well now, we have quite a tight fit here, but why don't you go sit in the back?" he asked, Sakura frowned lightly, "Yes sir" She said to him, she walked to the back table being greeted by a few smiles and smirks, "Sit with me Sakura" Sasuke said, almost ordering her. She sat down beside him and he pulled her closer to him, she frowned more, "I was hoping to not have my first class with you" Sakura admitted, "Oh well, your stuck with me anyways" Sasuke said smirking. "Whose this lovely lady?" a blond kid asked playfully. "Already made her yours Sasuke?" said a boy with black hair; he was more laid back then the others. Sakura shifted away from Sasuke's grip, Sasuke frowned as she did. "This is Sakura Haruno" he said to the blond, "Pleasure my name is Naruto Uzumaki!" The blond smiled a goofy smile. Sakura smiled a bit, he seemed nice enough, "Pleasure" she said in return. "The lazy jerk's name is Shikamaru Nara, and the pretty boy with the long hair is Neji Hyuuga, the pretty girl beside him is Hinata Hyuuga his cousin, and the girl beside her is his girlfriend Tenten and finally there's the pig girl Ino!" Naruto announced cheerily.
Hinata blushed at his words hiding her face. Tenten smirked at Neji who was glaring daggers at Naruto, Shikamaru's head was on the table as though he was asleep. "And you're the idiot!" Ino growled and threw a book at his face. Naruto blinked as the book fell revealing his now red face, the group started to laugh minus Sasuke and Shikamaru. Sakura blinked lightly, looking at everyone at the table, was highschool always like this? She wasn't sure she would actually enjoy it. She smiled a bit anyways, "Pleasure to meet you all" she said lightly. They nodded and broke into chatter among each other, Sakura was only half paying attention as her eyes lingered off towards Kiba, he smiled at her, and she smiled back. Honestly she hoped to have more classes with Kiba, no Sasuke. "So Sakura do you and Sasuke know each other well?" Tenten asked curiously as she noticed
Sasuke had put his arm around her again. Sakura looked back at them her train of thought broken. "Oh... Briefly" she said to her, "We met last night" she added. "Does that mean your Sasuke's new girlfriend?" Ino asked. Sakura frowned at this, it was just like she thought, Sasuke was a player... Goodie. Sakura shook her head, "Not exactly" she said. Sasuke held up his hand, "She's my Fiancée, our parents arranged it" he said. "Lucky!" Tenten and Ino cried, Neji shot Tenten a look, she smiled sheepishly and stroked his chest, "Calm down dear I was only joking" she said, Neji smirked a bit and kissed her cheek in return, "That's good to hear" he said. "I wasn't though" Ino smiled, "Sakura you have the be the luckiest girl in the school! Everyone wants to end up with Sasuke" she said. Sakura raised an eye-brow, "Really? Because I honestly do not feel to lucky" she admitted, this made the other's eyes widen. "Why not?!" Naruto said his jaw-dropped, even Shikamaru had woken up and was staring at Sakura.
She shifted nervously, "I'd rather not marry someone I don't know, if I have to be forced, I'd rather it be with someone I know" she said. Sasuke looked at her almost quietly, she was serious, he still had troubles accepting that she wasn't head over heels for him. Before anything else could be said the bell rang out, Sakura got up, "it was a pleasure to meet all of you but I really need to get to my next class" she said walking off swiftly before they could follow. Though most were still in a shocked state. "You okay?" Kiba asked joining her, Sakura frowned fiddling with her skirt, "I am discomfortable, I don't like being close to him and this school is far to noisy and strange" she admitted, "It would be better if I could just sit with you" she sighed, Kiba rubbed her shoulder lightly, "It's your first day, you'll get used to it Saku-chan" he said, "You do look good in a skirt though" he blushed, Sakura blushed lightly, "Thanks" she said. "Where's your locker?" He asked, Sakura looked at her timetable, "280 B" she said, "Close to mine" he smiled, "I'll show you where it is, then I'll take you to class" he said. "Thanks Kiba-kun, what class do you have?" She asked, "Art you?" He asked, "Art" she smiled.
"Good, maybe this time we can sit beside each other" he said, "I'd love that" Sakura smiled. Kiba smiled as he lead her to her locker, "Here we are" he smiled, Sakura nodded and opened her locker, placing her heavy books inside and kept only her art supplies. "I've never had to use a locker before" she said, "Yea, it's odd at first, but you get used to it" he said. Sakura nodded slowly and pulled out a small bag, "O-Oh" she said putting it back in her bag, Kiba frowned, "You still?" He asked, Sakura looked down her eyes saddened, "Yes..." She said, Kiba placed his hand on her shoulder, "I'm sorry Saku-chan, are you at least, better?" He asked, "Better then I have been in a few month's" she said timidly. "Well that's something to smile about" Kiba said, Sakura chuckled, "yes it is" She said to him softly, she put her stuff in her locker and took out her sketch book and art supplies, closing her locker she nodded at them and the two took off to art happily. "I promise you my group is a lot nicer then the one you were trapped with first period" he said, "That's good, I can't wait to see your friends" Sakura smiled softly, she walked with him into the class and they down in a table at the side, she blinked seeing Hinata there as well, "H-Hinata?" She asked, Hinata looked up, "O-Oh um.. S-Sakura… h-hello" she said fidgeting with her fingers lightly. "Hinata's kind of in both groups" Kiba laughed, "She only hangs out with her cousin when she's in the same class as he is" He said aloud and then turned to Sakura and whispered, "And she has a huge crush on Naruto" he smiled, "But other then that, she hangs out with us, the 'Drama/Art Kids" He smiled. "I suppose I'm one of you now" Sakura laughed, "Please you're the Queen" he said winking. Sakura blushed lightly, and looked as other students came in a few sat with them mostly boys… actually, all boys.
"What is this angel sitting at our table? Has she fallen from the heaven's for me!" A cheerful boy yelped as he ran over sitting beside Sakura. Sakura blinked lightly, staring at him, he had fuzzy eyebrows that were… huge, she shook her head and smiled, "Hello there" She said in greeting. "Her name is Sakura, she's knew in school and my friend I've told you about" Kiba said lightly, "This is Sakura? Sweet heaven she is gorgeous!" the cheerful boy yelped, Sakura blinked lightly, "Sakura this is Lee, Rock Lee to be exact" He said, "You my lady may call me as you will" He said taking her hand and kissing it politely. Sakura blushed lightly, "Pleasure to meet you Lee" She said, "Now then moving on from Lee, here we have Choji, and Shino!" He announced lightly, they waved in greeting towards her as she sat down. "Pleasure" She said, Choji was eating a bag of chips, he smiled, "Want one?" he offered, she shook her head, "No thank you, I had a big breakfast and shouldn't spoil lunch" She admitted, "She's used to her father's no snacking in school rule" Kiba whispered, Sakura shot him a look, he smiled playfully. Choji chuckled, "More for me!" he chimed eating happily, Shino was sitting quietly not saying much, she blinked lightly.
"Yea we are a small group, but we are really fun" Kiba said, "He is right!" Lee chimed eagerly sitting beside Sakura, Kiba sat on the other side of her. Sakura enjoyed her time, sitting with Kiba and the others during art class, it wasn't so bad being in Kiba's group, in fact, his socially awkward friends were far more fun then Sasuke's group. By the end of the class it was like she had always been there as part of the group, which was lovely. So far school was fairly decent, she walked down the hall with her new little group eagerly, "Lunch is the best time, but since we want to avoid chicken-butt we better show you our hideout" Kiba chuckled, Sakura giggled lightly, she loved the name he called Sasuke. "Sounds good to me" She chuckled softly, Kiba nodded and dragged her off. Sakura's eyes widened brightly, "Wow!" she said, "What a beautiful stage" she said staring at the Auditorium's stage, the clean black floors were perfect for sliding on as Lee proved as he slipped across almost elegantly with a goofy look upon his face. "Not as beautiful as thee" he said taking a bow. Sakura chuckled lightly, blushing a bit, "Thank you" she said quietly to him. Kiba chuckled at her reaction.
"Relax, you are beautiful" he whispered to her gently causing her to blush more. Choji sat down eating happily, "Hey wait for us!" Lee yelped grabbing out his lunch bag, Hinata giggled pulling out hers as well. Shino sat down silently, despite how quiet he was Sakura still enjoyed having him around. Kiba sat down with Akamaru barking softly as they did, Sakura smiled and picked him softly patting his head. Akamaru licked her face softly. Sakura giggled softly and nuzzled him. "Awh Aka-chan your too cute" she said softly. Kiba smiled at them gently, Lee smiled happily. "So you guys don't get in trouble for being here?" she asked, "Nope" Kiba said, "The drama teacher loves us" he said proudly, "Oh, that's good" she chuckled.
"Good is an understatement" Choji chuckled lightly. Sakura nodded softly eating her lunch gently, then blinked and looked up at the others. "Say... I do have a question" she said, "Sure, what is it my precious angel?" Lee asked softly, Sakura chuckled, "Why do girls like Sasuke? I don't understand really" she said, "We ask that all the time" Kiba snorted, "He's a jerk, a player, a bad boy" he growled, "But he's a-also u-um... hot" Hinata said, "Girls l-like those kind of guys" she said. Sakura shook her head, "Great and i'm stuck with him" she sighed. "Look on the bright side" Choji said, "What bright side?" Kiba asked rather curiously, "You get to hang out with us all the time now" Choji smiled a goofy grin and both Kiba and I lit up, "That's true we can hang out more" Sakura said excitedly, "We can do things… like go shopping and have sleepovers" She said smiling at Hinata, "I-I'd like t-that" She said softly.
Sakura had made her first friends, and it was only lunch time, what more could happen?
