Okay, here it is! The end of this story! Finally! I just have to apologize again for all the times that there was a few weeks (or months) where I didn't update this story at all. I'm really sorry about those long, unintended breaks, but you know, life happens I guess. But I'm not going to ramble too much and let you read now, because this is it! This story is DONE!
I am both sad and happy.
Oh, oh, oh... guess what? I met Brando Eaton! (aka: Vince Blake). Yeah, he was at Hartford Comic Con May 31st and June 1st and I got his autograph, a picture with him, a hug, and my coworkers and I got to interview him for our show we produce with our university. It was AMAZING! You can see the picture on my twitter page (it's my profile pic) if you look me up there (and maybe follow me ;D ) tabbyisnotacat
So yeah, I had to share that with my fellow Zoey 101 fans :D
Epilogue
"Congratulations to the PCA class of 2009!"
The words were still ringing in his ears. He did it. He graduated from PCA, as well as all his friends. This place had been his home for the last seven years of his life. Leaving was nerve-wracking for him, even though in a few months he'd be attending school at UCLA, it still wasn't the same. It was a brand new start.
He parted ways with his dad not long ago so that he could go get his things for the beach. Ever since he and his friends had accidentally went to the wrong beach for the end of the year bash in 8th grade, they decided to make it a tradition and go to that beach at the end of every school year. He looked around for his friends, watching them as they were saying their goodbyes to their families before they all left for their own flights out of California. He took note of his dad and Mr. Brooks inviting the other parents out for an early dinner before they all left.
Still scanning through the mass of his friends' families he noticed only one person missing from the large group. His brow furrowed as he looked around for the cheerful girl, but saw that she was nowhere to be found. With one last look and wave to his dad, he took off in a familiar direction. As he walked underclassmen who did not attend the graduation ceremony congratulated him when he passed, not that he even knew who half of the kids were.
He slowed his pace when he approached the two trees holding the hammock and noticed there was indeed a person in there, as the hammock was weighed down. He leaned against one of the trees, smiling down at the girl resting in the hammock, still wearing her gown and holding her cap in her hands. She turned her head slightly, not opening her eyes, but letting him know she was still awake and aware of his presence.
"Didn't take you long to find me," she said.
Logan let out a small laugh. "Well, you need a new hiding spot babe." He crossed his arms, his eyes watching her with concern. "What's wrong?"
"What makes you think something's wrong?"
"Because you only come here for two reasons," Logan said, "to look at the stars on a clear night, which you only do with me or Quinn, or when something's bothering you. And since it's only noon…"
"Okay, okay." She let out a sigh, opening her eyes. "You know me too well."
Logan smirked. "It comes with the title of 'Best Boyfriend Ever'."
He ignored Lola's eye roll and stood directly next to her, silently asking for her to let him in the hammock. She made room for him to fit in next to her, automatically laying her head on his chest as his arm went around her.
"So what's wrong?" he asked again.
"Everything's going to change," Lola said quietly.
"No it's not. Not everything."
"Just about. This is our last weekend at PCA, ever." Lola sighed. "And today is probably going to be the last time we all get to hang out with all our friends before we leave for good."
"Well, yeah, it's our last time hanging out with our friends at PCA," Logan kissed the top of her head, "but we're going to spending a lot of time at my dad's summer house, remember?"
"Before we all go off to different schools across the country," Lola added. She looked up into his brown eyes. "Then maybe we'll meet up for winter break, but after that we'll probably never see them again."
Logan laughed and shook his head.
"Why are you laughing? I'm serious!"
"You're being ridiculous."
"Logan, we're all going to be in different parts of the country," Lola said. "It's not going to be long before we lose touch with everyone because we'll be too busy with college and stuff."
"So? Zoey and Chase were in England for almost a whole school year and we didn't lose touch with them," Logan said.
"We almost did."
"But we didn't," Logan said. "And besides, the east coast isn't as far as England."
"I guess."
"Seriously, you're worrying about nothing," Logan said. "Plus, Michael is staying in California and Zoey will probably still visit PCA since Dustin will be there, and where Zoey goes Chase follows. And you and Quinn are pretty much attached to the hip, so you know we'll be seeing her during every break."
"And she still has those monitors she hooked up between our dorms in freshman year," Lola said with a laugh.
"Exactly," Logan said. "Yeah, not seeing everyone is going to be scary, but trust me, we couldn't get rid of them if we tried."
"Why is it that you're the only person who can talk sense into me?"
"Because I'm awesome," Logan said. Lola rolled her eyes, but continued to lean toward him until their lips touched. They remained in their own world kissing in the hammock for a few more minutes.
"Hey, I found them!"
The two broke apart as Michael walked up to them, with the rest of their friends right behind him.
"Finally!" Quinn said as the two got out of the hammock. "We've been looking everywhere for you two!"
Zoey looked between the two, knowing she had seen Lola take off right after the ceremony. "Is everything okay?"
Logan put his arm around Lola's waist and smiled. "Just the usual dramatics from the Drama Queen here." Lola elbowed him in the stomach. "I mean, nothing, everything's good."
"You sure?" Chase said.
"Yeah, everything's fine now," Lola said.
Zoey smiled. "Okay then, let's go to the beach!"
As they walked back to their dorms to grab their things, Lola's hand found Logan's and their fingers intertwined. She looked up at him as they trailed behind their friends. "Drama Queen, huh?"
Logan shrugged. "Well, you were President of the Drama Club."
"You're really lucky that I'm going to ignore that because I love you."
Logan moved in front of her, capturing her lips for a kiss. "I love you too."
THE END
OHMYGOSH PEOPLE! IT'S ACTUALLY DONE!
I just want to thank everyone who has read this story and I want to double-thank those who have also left reviews/comments because it's the comments that keep me motivated to write. I am planning on another possible Lola/Logan story, as well as a Lola/Michael story. And until I begin those I still have Moments at PCA: A-Z Style in progress, which I will be working on more now that this story is complete.
I also have an idea for a story centering on a possible family-centric type thing with Lola and Rebecca since Victoria Justice and Daniella Monet played sisters in Victorious... I had this idea that if their characters in Zoey 101 had been sisters or cousins or something it would've been a whole new twist on the Rebecca/Chase/Zoey triangle. Let me know what you think... of course I'll probably write it anyway.
So again, I hope you enjoyed this story and please, please, please let me know what you thought (or if you have any story requests) by leaving me a nice lil' comment! Thanks again for reading! :D
