Sorry for this being late! I was requested to do a Halloween fic after Halloween but my teachers love giving out homework! Yeuck! Thanks for the suggestion though, ms. cheerful.

Anyway, I do not own Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood or else this would not be an AU.

5. Street of Terror

Pride hated being the eldest sometimes. Sure there were its privileges, and then there were moments like this. It was Halloween, otherwise known as kid haven. It was also known as Pride's misery. Ever since he was little, he was put in some darn suit as a way to 'blend in'. Admittedly, the candy was worth it some years-no candy could make up for his one year old pumpkin costume (apparently it was popular)-but this year was different. As he had become a teenager, it was now his job to be his siblings' handler.

He would have rather clean toilets with his own toothbrush.

Passing a look to his obnoxious younger siblings, he saw Lust with a smile on her face in her maid costume as she skipped along with her fake vacuum cleaner-or a crawling Gluttony with cardboard attached to him. Envy was barely recognizable with his pirate transformation-except that he was the same height and looked like a child, and Pride wondered how long the necklace on Greed's neck would take to unbalance him. Apparently wearing black with a large golden necklace with a ridiculously large pendant reading "cool" made you a gangster. He chuckled. That would never catch on. Thankfully, Sloth hadn't come out; other wise Pride would be dragging the enormous child in the wagon. Not fun. His siblings rushed to the next house, and heaving a deep sigh, Pride trudged along after them.

An old lady opened the door. "Well hello kids! What are you supposed to be?"

Pride groaned internally-wasn't it obvious?

Lust piped up first. "I'm a cute nurse!"

The old lady chuckled. "You are a cute nurse!" Clearly she was oblivious to the definition of 'cute' Lust was using.

The lady looked down in surprise at Gluttony. "Oh! Hello little one!"

Gluttony looked up smiling. Thankfully, his portal wasn't open. "Food."

The old lady smiled and bopped him on the nose. Pride almost bit his nails off in a sudden fear that she would get her finger bitten off-because we all knew he would get blamed for it. Gluttony however did no such thing, though there was a definite increase of saliva. It was at this moment that Pride realized he wasn't breathing and took a breath in.

Greed stepped to the front, putting his hand on his hip in a motion he had seen Pride copy before. "I'm the coolest one here! I'm a gangster!" He puffed his chest out proudly. Envy almost immediately pushed the younger aside. "I'm a pirate. I'm better." Greed turned around, ready to punch Envy.

The old lady leaned to both of them. "Now now dears, you are all equally good." Smiling, she placed three candies in everyone's bags and sent them off back to Pride.

When she closed the door, Pride grabbed Greed and Envy by the scruff.

"Now you two listen to me. If I have to deal with you two bickering, we will play "guess what monster's shadow on your wall" when you two are in bed. Am I clear?"

Both gulped and nodded shyly. Practically dropping them, he looked at Lust. "How many more houses are left?"

"One more!"

Pride smiled for the first time that night. "Well, just go off. I'll see you there."

None of them needed to be told twice. He looked up at the house to see a strange amount of teenagers surrounding it. Not like he cared.

"Hey losers!" One rather burly fellow laughed seeing the children.

They all turned around. "Who are you talking to?" Lust folded her arms.

"Give us your candy." Greed clutched his bag possessively. Lust flashed them a strange look and Envy put his hand on the plastic sword hilt.

Gluttony didn't really understand what they were asking. "What?"

"Can it brat!" Another scraggy teenager kicked a rock at Gluttony, causing him to burst into ear piercing wails. Lust scowled picking up her upset little brother.

"Touch him again and you will die." An anger filled her.

The teenagers poked Gluttony again, causing him to wail louder. Lust placed Gluttony down-who only wanted to be held longer.

Envy pulled out his plastic sword and nodded at his sister. He transformed into a real pirate and Lust pulled out her claws. Both teenagers eyes went wide as they were brutally mauled by the two. Greed just kept holding onto his candy possessively as Gluttony clutched onto his arms whimpering.

Pride looked over and rushed to the area.

"WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING?!"

Lust and Envy turned around. "They hurt Gluttony." Lust scowled.

Pride blinked. "Oh. Continue."

Both grinned evilly and turned slowly towards their prey, causing them to scream and run away.

"Why didn't you help?" Envy asked with an angry pout.

"Here's the deal. I won't tell Father you two were part of a street brawl and if he finds out, you put me in the story as fighting them too."

They seemed satisfied and walked back home, all losing their desire-even Greed-to hit the last house.

I know this was a really short one but I think it was okay. Requests are on hiatus as a few of you sent in some that I need to write before I take more!
