First Kiss Gone Right
Hey sorry for the long wait my summer has been quite booked with getting ready for my junior year this year (even though I still deny I'm going to be a junior this year, lol. I guess I have a lot to study this year for the ACTs.) but without further a due chapter 3
Chapter 3
Miranda woke up to see Alex holding her sleeping peacefully; she carefully disentangled herself from Alex and looked at her phone. She unlocked her phone and saw she had a text from her sister Hayley.
1 text from Hayley
"Hey, Randy are you coming home today? What happened? Can we meet your girlfriend too? Mom's been worried about you."
Miranda smiled and replied to the text.
Hey Hales, yes I'll be home today, I will explain a little later once I'm home. Yes you can meet Alex, tell mom I'm sorry for worrying her. I'm good."
She sent the text hoping Hayley wouldn't be unconvinced that she was telling the truth. She then looked at her stomach and smiled.
"Hey baby, I'm your mommy, I'm really excited to meet you. Your momma has been really good to us sweetheart, I'm so glad to have her in our lives, sweetie. Your momma's family is really accepting and I love them, well except your father, but we don't need him, we have your momma to be there for us. I love you baby." She rubbed her stomach gently loving the closeness she was having at the moment.
Alex woke up and smiled hearing her girlfriend talking to the baby. She loved bonding with the baby and her lover. She didn't want to be like her family and not enjoy bonding moments so she decided that with the baby on the way she would do things differently. She got up and wrapped her arms around Miranda's waist and said "Good morning beautiful."
Miranda turned around and smiled at her girlfriend. "Good morning Lexi." She said pecking her lover's lips.
Alex smiled and kissed her lips softly. Miranda wrapped her arms around Alex's neck pulling them closer to each other. They were so involved in the kiss they didn't hear Max come down the stairs.
"Hey guys, can I join?" He said playfully with a bit of seriousness.
They pulled away and Alex smirked. "Max, you have your own girlfriend to make out with."
Max just laughed. "Yeah, I do, I was just playing with you Alex. How's the baby doing?" Alex smiled.
She loved her little brother; he thought Justin was stupid to not help Miranda since he got her pregnant. She was glad the rest of her family was on her side.
"Well we don't know yet we'll find out today though. Do you want to come with?" Max nodded.
"If it's okay with Miranda I'll go." Miranda nodded.
"It's totally alright with me Max." Max smiled then looked at Alex.
"Alex can I talk to you? Miranda can stay here too; her answer might help me too."
Alex nodded. "What's going on buddy?"
Max sighed. "When did you realize you were in love with girls?"
Alex knew what was happening. Max realized he might be in love with boys.
"Well, I was about your age, but I guess I was into girls all along." Max nodded.
Miranda then said. "I was about fourteen when I realized I was lesbian, but like Alex said I sort of just knew."
Max smiled and knew what his answer was.
"Why did you ask Max?" Alex asked.
Max took a deep breath and said. "I think I'm gay."
Max looked at his older sister and her girlfriend nervously.
Alex smiled. "Max there's nothing wrong with being gay, I know for a fact that mom and dad will still love you if you tell them. " Max smiled and nodded.
"So you got any crushes on cute guys lately?" She said jokingly.
Max blushed and Miranda nudged her gently. "Sorry" she said.
Max smiled. "No its okay, I actually do have a crush on someone."
Alex then said. "Who, do I know him?" Max smiled.
"His name is Micah and he is in a grade above me and we are in the same theater class."
Alex smiled. "Oh yeah, I know Micah. Micah Henderson right?"
Max nodded. Alex smiled brightly. "Yeah I take music and art with him. He seems to talk about you a lot in those classes." Max smiled. "So what should I do to get him?" He asked his sister. Alex just smiled and said.
"Talk to him I'm sure it will work out. He will go out with you Max. Now we need to get ready for school so let's get up."
Max and Miranda sighed. "Do we really have to?" Max asked.
Alex just laughed and nodded. Miranda smiled knowing Alex was being a great sister to Max.
At school Max, Alex, and Miranda heard everyone talking about Justin leaving the school. Harper came to them who was followed by Micah.
"Hey Harper, what's up? Hey Micah!" Alex said.
Max heard his sister say something to him through his mind.
"You should tell him, Max this is the perfect opportunity."
Max nodded. "Micah can I talk to you?" Max asked. Micah smiled and nodded. Micah and Max went by his locker and Max started talking.
"Micah there's something I need to tell you."
Micah nodded encouraging him to tell him. "You can tell me anything." He said softly.
Max nodded. "I'm in love with you Micah, and yes I am gay. Please don't hate me, I can stick with just being friends."
Micah took a step forward and kissed Max softly on the lips. Max smiled and wrapped his arms around his waist. Micah did the same but around Max's neck.
Max pulled away and smiled. "I love you too, Max." Micah said. Max smiled brightly.
"Will you be my boyfriend?" Max asked. Micah nodded. They went the rest of the school day in peace.
