Sorry for the wait but I hope you enjoy the next chapter (it's the longest so far and I have the next chapter written for tomorrow as well) ...
Chapter 13
Sealand looks shocked and says, still not understanding what is going on "What?". Poland, looking around everywhere repeats "We need to go now. And I mean right now."
Sealand catches on and starts mumbling a quick exit spell because a portal would take too long and someone could get in without them knowing. "Hurry up I can hear people coming closer." Sealand glares at Poland like Sweden glares at Denmark and Poland shuts up and all that can be heard is the footsteps getting closer and Sealand mumbling the spell.
Suddenly the room lights up in a swirl of violet with bright red and silver lights dancing through the hurricane like lights. "Shit. They'll be able to see the light from underneath the door" Poland says. "Shut up Poland and just do your part so we can get the fuck out of here and into safety." Sealand shouts at Poland.
Poland quickly starts to mumble in Latin and goes faster when they here an English accent on the other side of the door shouting that multicoloured lights where coming out of the bottom of the door and hitting it.
Both Sealand and Poland knew that they didn't have much time and could tell the door would only last a minute under England but if America joined then they were done for.
The light starts to glow brighter and in the centre of the light they could see their new homes and the forest around it. "We're almost done Poland just finish it." Sealand shouts.
They hear the door begin to crack and an American voice on the other side shout "I'm almost done". "Shit. Poland hurry the fuck up we can't wait." Sealand, with mounting panic in his voice shouts.
The blinding light starts to wrap around Poland and Sealand's bodies just as the door bursts open and England, America and several nations behind them come into view and all of then except England, whose eyes are glowing with pure magic in them, hide their eyes from the light but England could see everything and when he looked around the room he caught Sealand's eyes just as he was leaving and Sealand caught the look of surprise on England's face leaving both of them to know that Sealand had been caught.
The bright light appeared in front of the villas in a hurricane of blinding light and dangerous wind blowing around.
Norway and Italy notice the blinding light through the windows in the living room and straight away know something had gone wrong. They rush out the front door just in time to see Poland and Sealand collapse on their knees. They run over to the both of them and see them both pale and looks of worry on their faces.
Suddenly Sealand's head shoots up and his eyes are filled with panic and says "England knows. He saw us when we were leaving." Poland's head shoots up at this and says "Shit. Just fucking great. It just wasn't enough that France was able to get a picture of Ukraine and I kissing like there was no tomorrow and you putting yourself on Switzerland's hit list by telling Liechtenstein your feelings for her but now we can't go back to find out what's going on because of bloody England seeing us."
Sealand's face takes on a look of shock and says "Wait! You spied of Liechtenstein and I?" Poland rolled his eyes and replies sarcasticly " Oh yes I was just casually spying on you and Liechtenstein when I knew we only had a few minutes to get out of there …
"No need for sarcasm Poland, we can all understand it was a stupid question but give him a break he just got caught by the last person he wanted to be seen by." Norway says to Poland as he gives him a hand up.
Poland takes Norway's hand and stands up and turns to the others and says "Could this have compromised your wedding because I don't particularly want to be reminded by you guys every year about this happening if it does."
Italy looks at Poland and says "No, the wedding will still go on and you would not have compromised it anyway Poland, we knew this was going to happen eventually, it just happened quicker than we thought it would. Italy starts to speak once more "The thing we need to know now is who saw you, and I'm not talking about Ukraine and Liechtenstein because you both willingly gave information to them."
"Italy I think it would be best if we go inside before we start talking about this because we don't know how long this is going to take." Norway says rationally. "Okay, we will go inside, sit down, Poland will talk first about what happened and who saw him, then Sealand will do the same, then we will figure out the pro's and cons of who saw us and end with what we are going to do about it. Agreed?" Italy says while they start walking up to Norway's and Italy's villa.
When they enter the living room Poland and Sealand both notice a open wine bottle on the glass coffee table and Poland, with a smirk on his face says "Isn't it a little early to be drinking?" Italy looks at Poland with an identical smirk on her face and says "It's never too early to drink and anyway I think all of us need one before we start talking ..." she looks at her bottle of 'Italie Brunello Di Montalcino- Riserva biondi Santi 1997' " … although we might want to get something harder." Poland looks at the bottle and see's what wine they were drinking and looks up surprised and says "Italy isn't that the wine you once brought to one of your world meetings and it ended up with most of the nations being drunk after either a glass or less. Hell, I still remember Sweden singing dancing queen in drag at that meeting."
"If we could please refrain from talking about my lightweight of a brother and get back to the topic at hand after all, after that meeting the rest of the Nordics and I, excluding Sweden, had to be in therapy for six months, seven for Denmark, the memory is still triggered if Sweden just hums a Abba song. So while I can say it's been wonderful to talk about a scaring event I really would like to never think of it again." Sealand's face suddenly lights up "Ahhhhh well that explains why unc... I mean Denmark went from drinking at America's party to rocking back and forth in a corner last year."
The three male nations go to sit down on the sofa while Italy goes and gets some shot glasses and vodka, which she quickly opens up, pours a shot and downs when she gets back into the living room. Poland watches all this and and with a look at Italy that very obviously shouts "are you sure you're not an alcoholic?" Italy answer to the unasked question can not be written down even if I wanted to for the simple fact is that I don't want to go to hell and I didn't even understand half the words she said.
Sealand watches all this and just thinks "I don't even think it is even possible to do even half of these things to the human body" and "I really wish I did not know Italian right now" but out loud he says "I thought it was your brother who swore like a drunk sailor." Italy looks at Sealand and replies "Sealand, I will give you some advice. Never piss off an Italian. Especially a female Italian who was taught how to fight by the Roman Empire. Okay?" She says the last word in a very happy voice.
Sealand looks at Italy with respect and slight fear and says "I'll never forget."
Norway ignores the other and downs a shot too and starts the conversation. "So what the hell happened back there?"
Poland opens his mouth to start talking and then closes it again, he does that a few times and before any of the others saw Poland had also downed a shot and had started to speak. "Well, things happened normally, you go in to the meeting, watch it all crash and burn, have the cold war and the hundred year war be reenacted, have a fight between America and England about independence and you know, same old, same old. So when it finally came to lunch break and Germany has given up we all rush out of there, Sealand and I meet in a room, have a small talk and then I go out for a break, at least until I saw the Baltic's, and you know, I wanted to hear what they were talking about and it turned out they were talking about you guys going missing. Oh and Sealand too but that was mainly Latvia trying to convince the other that Russia had you, at least until they heard Russia coming, I swear the three of them have alarms in their head if they can sense him from so far away. Anyway, Russia came storming by, cursing about America like he was the devil and unfortunately for the Baltic's he went the way they went. So after all that I went to stand where the Baltic's were standing and took out my last cigarette and lit it, just after that I heard a noise but when I looked there was nothing there so I ignored it but then Ukraine was behind me, telling me smoking was bad, which I also ignored but I guess I shouldn't have because the next thing I know my cigarette is on the ground snuffed out, so quite obviously I am annoyed. Anyway, It ended with Ukraine and I having a deep and personal conversation with each other that ended up with us acting like, well like you two when left alone …" Italy quickly breaks into the story and says "I will ignore what you just said." Poland continues "... So as I was saying Ukraine and I were snogging the living daylights out of each other, at least until we hear a click and when we look at where the sound came from we see a guy wearing a very obviously designer outfit with wavy shoulder length blonde hair, also known as France has blackmail on Ukraine and I. Ukraine went to hold him off while I ran off to find him *points at Sealand* only to find him on the ground with Liechtenstein sitting on top of him, while declaring his love for her and his shock of realizing what he said, he ran right into me and we hid ourselves in one of the nearby rooms and locked it. We then started to do a quick getaway spell, which, by the way should definitely not be used when trying to get away quickly and unnoticed. So once we done that we started to hear an English voice shouting that he could see light coming from under the door of the room we were in and the sound of footsteps, we quickened the pace and just before we left the door came down and the people who I could see were the allies, the rest of the axis, your brother Italy, Spain, Ukraine, Belarus standing next to Russia and at least Denmark from the Nordics but I don't know who else was there. From there on you guys know what happened."
Poland finishes his part of the story and takes another shot.
There was silence in the room for a minute and more than a few shots downed. Than Norway asks " Out of the people there who actually saw you?" Poland thinks for a moment then answers "Well Ukraine for starters..." He gets cut off by Italy "We could all guess Ukraine, you didn't need to add her in the list." Poland ignores this and continues "... and France, pretty sure England saw me, both Russia and Belarus were glaring daggers at me so they definitely saw me and more than likely saw the picture France took as well, Germany also saw me and I think that's … no wait I think America saw as well. There, now that is everyone."
Italy speaks up "That's more people than I thought." She is biting her bottom lip and looking worried. "Yeah but only England could clearly see but I'm still sure Belarus and Russia are part bloodhound and that's how they knew I was there. The others were quick second eye contact so that's why I mentioned them seeing me because they could possibly recognise me." Poland quickly says to calm the situation down. "It's still not a good number of people who saw you Poland." Norway says rationally. He then turns to look at Sealand and says "And what about your version, Sealand."
Sealand looks at the other three and then starts his version of the story "Well the start of mine and Poland's stories are almost the same except before I went with him I made myself invisible and then I went into the meeting room. It was so bloody silent. Anyway, after a while the fights started although I will admit that I was the one to start the one between America and England. So when lunch came I followed Poland into one of the empty rooms and took the spell off to make sure I could give my magic a break and a chance to replete my magic as well. I then went out the room to get some air because it was too stuffy and I knew I wouldn't get recognised but instead I bumped into Liechtenstein by accident and then I started flirting with her..." Sealand stops for a second "Why did I start flirting with her I honestly have no idea but it ended up with her finding out who I am, me feeling terrible for not telling her and Latvia, having her jump right on top of me and making me fall down, found out Latvia and Denmark are drinking away their pain and got asked a question that ended up with me telling her how I feel about her and running away, only to bump into Poland a minute later. Next thing I know I have been pushed into an empty room and told we have to get out of there. So we start a quick getaway spell, which I agree with Poland when he says that it should never be used if you are trying to get away quickly and unnoticed. Anyway, we started to speed up when England started shouting about seeing lights from under the door in the room we were in and footsteps running to the door. We got away just after the door got broke down and I saw the same people as Poland but I am sure Canada was also there..." Sealand gets cut off "Wait, Canada was there?" Norway says with an uneasy look on his face. "... Yeah, pretty sure. Anyway you know what happened after that."
Sealand sits back and takes a shot to calm himself after all that he said. Italy then asks "Who saw you?" Sealand thinks back on this and after a few minutes replies "Liechtenstein , England, Canada and I caught Denmark's eye for a second." Norway speaks up "It's less than Poland but it's still not good because there are three, well technically two people who saw you because you willingly told Liechtenstein but if you add how many people saw the both of you we have ten people who saw you."
"What are the pros and cons of these nations knowing?" Italy asks to the others. Norway starts saying "The pros of Denmark knowing is that he could tell Sweden and Finland that Sealand is fine, he is protective, he can fight and he is my brother. The cons are that he is overprotective, he can't keep a secret, he acts before he thinks, he can be deadly, he makes a lot of noise, he is annoying and he is my brother."
Sealand notices something "Why is the fact that he is your brother go both ways?" Norway quickly replies "Well he would forgive us more quickly and be more than likely to help out but the problem would be the fact that he is my elder brother who thinks he knows better than me and does things without asking first." Italy very quickly comes up with a conclusion "The cons far outweigh the pros. There is no way we could tell him before all our secrets come out." "Agreed" the other three call out. "All right who's next?" Sealand says.
"Ukraine" Poland says without hesitation. "The pros are she has always known the real me and has never forgot, she can fight if she has to, she is scary if she's pissed, she is not allowed to talk to her brother and sister, she is trained in medicine, she can keep a secret although I will admit she will tell it if it involves people getting hurt, she is kind looks after everyone and she doesn't back down. The cons are she is quite noticeable, people can hear her coming and she can be stubborn." They think about what were told and Norway comes to the conclusion this time "She sounds like it would be good if she knew and if she remembers and knows the way Poland is then it would not be a far stretch to the rest." All of them say "Agreed" again but Italy adds on "I agree that it would be good for her to know but what about the fact France has blackmail over the both of you Poland?" Poland quickly answered back with "It could be seen as blackmail or it could be seen as him catching the act of two nation showing their love to each other, which is something he tries to do all the time because we all know why he tries to either get it on with other nations or helps them find love." "Yeah." Italy says quietly "He's still not over 'her' and I don't think he ever will."
The four of them sit quietly all slowly drinking the shot in their hands. In a more subdued voice Italy asks "Who's next?"
"Liechtenstein" Sealand say before anyone else can say someone else. "The pros would be that she knows about me, she is quiet, she listens to everything and remembers it, she understands things other people wouldn't easier, her brother taught her how to use a gun and she can keeps secrets from everyone apart from Switzerland. The cons are her brother. Point blank, he is a very big problem. Norway answered this "We can understand why you want her to know and as already knows about you it could help you get into the world meetings if you want to but with the con being her brother that brings in many other cons so she can partly know things which should be where your country is, seeing you and your friendship with us but otherwise I don't think we can tell her anything else at the moment and before you say anything it is for her safety." "Agreed" Poland and Italy says and Sealand a minute later.
"Okay, who's next?" Poland asks. "I think we should go over Canada." Norway says. "Why Canada?" Sealand asks wondering why they were not talking about the more dangerous ones to know their secrets like England or Russia.
"Canada is dangerous Sealand, he's stronger than he looks, he's deadlier than he looks, he's older than he looks, he's larger than he looks and is definitely more dangerous than England." Sealand looks shocked "I... I had no idea."
Norway continues "So pros are he's stronger than he looks, he is one of the few countries who still does hunting, he's one of the few nations who has beaten Sweden, America and Russia with no problem, he is the second largest nation, he can do magic, his bear can change in size and grow very large, I have partly raised him, back when he was Vinland and if he remembers being Vinland then he is also deadlier than more nations. The cons are that almost all his pros could come back to bite us."
Poland this time comes to a conclusion first "All his pros would be very good but I am worried about how it can easily change if something does not turn out right. Maybe if he remembers being Vinland it would be easier but we can't just go up to him and ask "Hey were you once a colony of the Viking until you were unwillingly abandoned because of their boss?" now can we?"
"True so maybe we should wait till we know for sure." Italy says.
Suddenly a voice comes out the hallway. "Or maybe you should talk more quietly on the phone when talking to people who are meant to be missing Poland.
From out of the shadows in the hallway Canada appears. "And just for the record it would be impossible to forget being Vinland when that was when I was always remembered and recognised. So I think I can honestly say What the hell has been going on, Eh?"
