I am different

Changed in amazing ways

split off from the absurd

defining the word nerd

people insist on stagnant life

their existence listless

gather small storms

I wrap myself delicately

among the pride, and afro beauty

Distributing it to younger girls

acceptance their own choice

Red dyed eyes

sufferance in supplies

again I rise

from the dirt at my feet

place their by mine own

and horrid others

again the mirror judges

it cracks

I scream one again

I am different

Continuing...

Draco was safely tucked into her bed, the night sky watching over her dreams.

Jacob pulled their bedroom door closed. Lifting a hand to rub his face in frustration. How many more surprises could he take?

Shaking off the feeling of weariness, he continued down the hallway to face the past for Draco.

The couch shifted at Hermione's movement, she sipped from the cup of tea Jacob's dad had been kind enough to get for her.

Making a face of discomfort, she leaned further back against the back of the couch.

Hearing heavy foot fall, she turned slightly, only to weakly at the approaching Jacob.

"Is she asleep?"

Jacob lifted his head at her question. He seemed almost surprised by her presents, before something seemed to dawn on him. He nodded quickly entering the room and taking a sit he said, "Yeah, she's fine."

Hermione followed his movement with her eyes, gripping both sides of her cup tightly. "That's good to know, Draco sometimes he- I mean she, doesn't sleep well at all."

She struggled to make eye contact with Jacob, "She fights, usually screaming is involved, and scratching but she rarely remembers it all the next day."

His eyes darkening with silent rage, Jacob fist tightened into fist. "How long? How long has this been going on?" His voice was husky from held back frustration.

Hermione aged before his eyes it seemed as her eyes dimmed. She reached forward to place her cup of cooled tea o the small coffee table. Only to be stopped by her rounding belly, Jacob quietly reached forward and moved it for her.

Hermione watched him, "Thanks."

They both settled back into their chairs. Hermione wearily sighed, "Well, Draco and I were around 18 I think when we knew that the 'thing' we were fighting wasn't going to be defeated peacefully. I'd lost my parents and…"

She stopped, swallowing, her throat choking on the words, "And Draco himself had been pushed to amazing reaches of sanity, with what we'd been thru. So along with two others, we went hunting for power."

Jacob shifted curiosity coloring his voce, "Power? What kind were searching you for?"

Hermione shrugged, a helpless smile coming to her lips, "Did it matter?" she paused chuckling, "Does it matter? Power, is power. Anyway we found a man who could provide us this power, but by that time two out of the four of us could only take it on for varying reasons."

Her skin slowly started to pale out, as her hair grew darker, "He was a necromancer, and a scientist, that promised what we wanted but, we had to sacrifice our humanity. A hundred screaming souls of demons smashed along with their victims into a tight bowl of pure magic. Their rage, hate, and death would become ours."

Jacob shook his head, "No, you were both too young. Why would you take on such a thing?."

"Because we hated more."

Hermione and Jacob jerked their eyes to the gaunt Draco who was leaning against the hallway wall. Her eyes were dimmed, her voice almost waspish, "We were consumed with rage stronger than any demons, and we'd all lost people we'd loved. None of the "Adults" were willing to make the sacrifice. Unfortunately Potter couldn't make the cut."

"Draco!" "Nessa!"

Draco waved both of them off when they both stood as if to help her, and limped her way over to Jacob. Who caught her when she half way fell into his lap. She cuddled closer to him seeking his warmth.

Hermione was amazed at how close the two were. She winced at twinge of envy that shot through her, despite the bun in her oven, she and Jasper were still on the rocks.

Draco shifted letting her back rest against Jacobs chest, "It wasn't surprising what followed we slaughtered hundred and took back our world. Sadly, the wizemgot had remained bigoted, they saw us as a threat. We were defined as weapons, and shut into dark pits about a hundred leagues under their corrupt feet."

Staring sightlessly ahead, Hermione whispered, "No light, and no sound. We just sat their rotting, food would come, then so would sound and light. It was the worst moments in my memory, my hand would reach for the light. Till they shut the lid and we'd go back to darkness."

"Then he came…hahaha, I thought he'd come to save me…us." Draco voice emptied of emotion, "His voice was the same, his eyes the same acid green but he'd come to have me kill him."

Hermione shifted laying a hand over her stomach, "Draco wasn't in his right mine, I'd whisper to him at night trying to pull him back. At those times we'd speak about any and everything. Still when one of us fell to deep. We'd lose ourselves to something dark inside."

"Hahaa, and he lived for those moments, when we'd fight, blood was spilled quite often. Mind you we were both still very male at those times."

Draco paused feeling Jacob still, she continued despite it, "I understood he'd lost Ginny, he loved her so much, and it seemed nothing could tear them apart. We all thought she'd pull through, but Romanov made sure she wouldn't by taking out her heart."

Jacob pulled Draco closer when she shuddered, "Her death was horrible, and un warranted. Potter changed that night, he wasn't a boy anymore. By the time he'd come to me, he'd already killed four of the top officials in order to take office. He was aiming for the full control of the ministry. He came to me to be himself, and to control the only thing he could."

Swallowing against the words coming from depth of his dark memories, "We were never in love, actually I wasn't much involved in these confrontations. It was the other, it was more active in these things. So…O, after a few months, something changed on the inside. I-I wasn't sure but when Potter came I didn't change."

Draco swiped the tears from her eyes, her smile trembled. "He could tell right away it was me. I railed and screamed at him, I told him instead of using me to cover his sins. He should be saving his friend and the ch..,"She choked, "The child he'd forced on me…he wasn't ready, he couldn't believe it."

Draco turned her face into Jacob comforting shoulder.

Hermione sighed, "After that in a months' time we were taken out, and placed in a "special" unit. Agent for the government, later Draco gave birth to a son, they took the child and gave it to the Weasly's. Enri isn't a killer, but he is half demon, and the son of one of the most powerful wizards. It wasn't long before the Wizemgot decreed that Draco should take a vow to never see him. She swore a wizard's oath, so she has now no choice."

"Potter lied, he lied that he wouldn't use Enri in such a way…I can't allow them to use him anymore."

Draco's eyes glowed quietly, "they will eventually come here, and when that time comes I'll get Enri back."

Hermione walked back into the Cullen's house, she pulled off her coat and laid it on the kitchen counter. Her eyes narrowed in thought, she didn't notice the person leaning against the door way.

"Where...!" "Oh my go…! Jasper make some fucking noise will ya'!"

Jasper eyes widened at Hermione's cussing, she breathed deeply a hand placed on her stomach.

"I mean seriously, I almost had a baby here." She pushed passed him and walked into to the living room.

Jasper followed, "I just wanted to know where you were, Bella said she didn't know you'd snuck out again."

Hermione whipped around her eyes flashing, "Sneak out? Am I not allowed to leave, is this a prison."

She motioned to the house, "If I wanted to leave this place, I could."

Jasper took two steps for him to appear in front of her, his hands placed on the both side of her face.

He stared intently down at her, "Could you, could you leave me behind again?"

Contrite Hermione tried to pull her face from his hands, "Let go."

Jasper pulled her closer, "Could you walk out that door, and leave me so easily. I don't understand, I know you love me, it's in everything you do, but you refuse to let me in."

"Why is it that everyone wants to be let in, when there is nothing left inside?" Hermione reached and gently pulled Jaspers hands down to his side, "Jasper, there isn't anything inside me left good, why would I want the one thing right, to be tainted by what's inside of me."

She placed her trembling hand on his cheek, "Your cold, but to me you're the warmest thing left in my life. I'm not keeping you out, but protecting you from something. Jasper let me protect you, don't make me lose you to, okay?"

Jasper watched as Hermione's lips shook, she bit them to stop the shaking. He leaned down pressing their foreheads together, squeezing his eyes closed.

"Tell me, tell me who it is who made the women I love tremble so. I love you so…o, much, why do you let yourself hurt so?"

Hermione shook her head, she begged, "Kiss me, please, just kiss me one more time."

Jasper had no choice but to follow her wish, they both ignored the tears running down their faces.

"How many would this make it?"

Harry turned around at Ron's somber question, he winced at the amount of dead bodies strewn across the border of Russia.

"I couldn't tell you an accurate number, but I'm guessing thousands."

Ron sighed, his face showing his thirty years of age, his usually bright blue eyes were darker than a storm. "Harry we can't keep using Enri, he's enjoying it too much, soon, he may attack humans."

His face going carefully blank, Harry turned away from Ron his boots crunching against the dead leaves. "We will stop…soon."

He walked towards the troops gathering the bodies, and evacuating people, "As soon as all of them are dead, Romanov, the necromancer, and Nott."

Ron watched him go, sighing he glanced down at the dead eyes staring up at him. Shuddering, he quickly followed Harry into the melee.

After they'd let sent off the last body, Harry separated from Ron and headed to his tent. Once there he plopped down on his cot, jerking off his uniform coat.

He stared into space, chewing his lips, a nervous habit. "Draco."

He jerked his head towards the Opening of the tent, Enri leaned against the opening.

His eyes narrowed the green becoming poisonous, "What do you want Enri?"

Enri smirked, it was crooked just like his fathers, "I wanted to talk to my dear, dear father but you were thinking about mother."

Harry stood, his hackles raised, "You've been digging in my head again, didn't we tell you that was against the rules."

Enri who when in his truest form was taller by a foot to Harry, and looked just like Draco. Shrugged, his eyes narrowing the green taking over the hazel, "I will continue playing in there, until you take me to my mother."

He reached up, Harry didn't flinch when the side of his Tent was ripped length wise. The chilly night air causing it to whip out.

Enri eyes widened, as his small smile turned cynical, "Papa, you're such a stickler for those itsy bitsy rules, still I think if you keep putting me off. I'll make a bigger mess then I did today, some of your people may be thrown away…hahaha."

He turned away, his malevolent laughter tainting the air around him.

Harry tightened his fist, his eyes still narrowed, "Draco, how much longer are you going to hide from me...I won't let you live free for long."

The whipping of the ripped tent was the only answer he heard.
