Another story in my attempt to try and understand Merle Dixon. This time Merle thinks back on his and Darryl's childhood. Rated M for child and spousal abuse and language. As always, I thrive on reviews, constructive criticism. It's not a fun story but please let me know what you think.

This TWD fanfic is about a new character (not original) named Jamie Lin. She was raised by strangers to be ready for the outbreak. This fanfic sorta follows season 3 (going into 4) of TWD T.V. series, so there's not much to a summary. Merle Dixon is a character who fascinated me on Walking Dead. He's mean, dirty, hateful and profane but somehow you end up liking him just a little despite all that. As I watched "This Sorrowful Life", I imagined what was going through his mind as he led the zombies to attack. This is the result. Hope you like it and reviews are welcome and greatly appreciated.
