How did you like the first chapter? I hope you liked it :) Here is another one! Basically the same as the first just from Masako's POV and Keket's. By the way I will not be disclosing her last name anytime soon. I want people to make some guesses. Hope you like!

-I should mention: manga is kind of irrevalent and the entire team know narus real name/backstory.

Masako POV

I had just arrived when I saw a young looking girl talking to Mai. I overheard the last of their conversation and immediately felt my blood boiling.

"-new name for my beloved Oli." Beloved? Oli? Who the hell does she think she is? And why does she know his real name? I couldn't help glare at her. But when Mai responded I couldn't hold in my giggle.

"Oh, I really just call him that because he is so narcissistic and it just kind of caught on." The mystery girl broke out into laughs and I eased jealousy a bit. There is no way Naru would go for someone so obnoxious. As she calmed down I realized something. Something off. Something was wrong with her, I'm just not sure what. But her voice cut off my thoughts.

"I should probably introduce myself. Hello everyone- My name is Keket. Pleased to make your acquaintance." Wish I could say the same but frankly I don't really like you. Everyone started to introduce themselves. When it came to my turn I simply ignored her, she should know my name anyways. As I waited for Yasu to introduce himself (AN: The others waiting for her) she walked up to us.

"And you are..." EXCUSE ME. I'm appalled. How do you not know me? All these things I wanted to voice out loud, but quickly thought better of it. With a simple glare I responded.

"Masako Hara." I turned but quickly when for the first time I heard Naru sound... confused? No concerned. I whipped back around to see Yasu on the ground groaning in pain. Keket smirked. What is with this girl? I blocked out what Yasu said when I see Lin and Naru giving each other looks like this situation is all too familiar. She walked up to Naru and her question had me listening in closely.

"So what do you need me for?" Keket deadpanned. He stared at her for a couple second before responding. But each second he didn't respond was merely more fuel to my fire.

"We have a case, and I would like your help." Like her help? Since when does Naru like anything? Not to mention what could she possibly have to offer that he doesn't already have? Making sure that my voice didn't sound whiny, but still sounded quite terrifying- I reacted.

"Naru?! Why! You already have everything you need? Why would you possibly need this weak looking girl?" She didn't actually look weak, but from her facial expression I could tell she hated being called anything close to weak.

"Yes Masako- it's true. I have everything and everyone a paranormal team could want. But sadly, Miss Keket is not someone I would normally want anywhere near any of you." HA! Hear that! He doesn't want you near us haaa- wait. Why would Naru not want her near us... Mai cut off my thoughts with her question.

"Why is that?" I had to restrain myself from repeating her question from the safety of my kimono.

"Don't tell me she is what I think she is? I thought my sense's were just being a bit weird!" Monk asked alarmed. So he noticed something was off too? What does he think she is?

No I'm afraid you are probably right. I just want to say I wouldn't call her if I thought she was a danger to anyone. But frankly- based on what the client has said, she will be needed." Is he defending her? What the hell? Why does he speak of her so highly. I wanted to question him more when he motioned for Keket to turn around. What I saw had me remembering something I wasn't completely sure happened.

"The eyes of demon show what class it holds in hell. Black can mean low-level to moderate. Red is a demon of slightly higher caliber. White is just about the highest you can get." The librarian told me quietly.

"What about the girl in the painting. With the glowing blue eyes! Everyone always calls her a demon when they pass by!" My child self asked shyly.

"She wasn't a demon to start off with. She fell into hell, she was an angel. Purest of the pure. When her heart was broken- she swore revenge, and was dammed to hell. Where is turned into a demon. But a little part of the angel still resides in her. If any of you ever meet- teach her how to love, and she will be happy again." All the children smile.

My eyes widened in realization. Her previously gray eyes had taken all my attention, but she couldn't be that one in the story could she? All my doubts of what she was were crushed when she spoke. My ears barely catching the sentence.

"Right, I am a demon." She smirked and I couldn't help the question that came out of my lips in a desperate tone.

"How old are you!?" I paid no attention to the curious stares I got from the rest of the team.

"Nineteen. Why?" Okay, that's right. There's no way she would look almost exactly the same in the painting as she does now if she was born merely 19 years ago. The painting was there before I was born, most likely before she was too.

"No reason." I quickly shot back. I was okay with the fact she was demon, I guess. I suppose that phrase 'curiosity killed the cat' really is true.

Keket's POV

I sighed. The shocked looks were getting irritating. At least one of them was talking to me, though I wonder why she asked my age of all things.

"Listen, I get most of you may not be comfortable with this for a while, but I don't like working with people who don't trust me. So lets make a deal- I promise to not hurt any of you and you guys promise not to try and exorcise me." Their anxious faces told me all I need to know. Ready to turn down Naru's request I turned around, as I started to speak I was cut off by Yasuhara.

"Frankly I think its really cool! Can we see your demon powers? Please pretty lady!"

"My name is Keket, and no." I deadpanned. Naru's monotonous stopped all the arguments I'm sure were brewing in everyone's head.

"I want you all to understand. Lin and I have known Keket since we were children, she was a friend of Gene and all of us. Although we were raised to deem it acceptable that she be a demon, we don't expect you guys to take the news as well. But whether you like it or not- she is coming on this case. That is final. No arguments." Although it seemed to get everyone to shut up- there was one little unsettling detail.

"You no, no arguments matter. Except, umm I don't know, mine." I quirked an eyebrow with a smile. Lin chuckled while Naru smirked.

"Okay Keket, do you want to come on this case?"

"No"

"I will call Shiro."

"f-FINE" I said with new fake enthusiasm. I knew he wouldn't actually call him, but the threat had me scared enough to not test him. With that I tried my best to ignore the glares from Ayako and Monk and nervous smile from Mai.

What exactly does Naru expect? He can't really believe that at any point they will except me? Or except the fact that my sole purpose here is to protect them. Well, at least I think that's it. He never actually told me.

"Hey Oli! Why am I here exactly?"

"That's for me to know and you to find out." And of course his smile afterword's was something only I noticed. For it was a smile reserved for Gene and I only.
