Before she could finish her sentence Sonic quickly grabbed her from her shirt collar from her uniform, and pulled her close to him causing their lips to touch. He closed his eyes as he kissed her and Amy just looked at him with a wide shock on her eyes. He slowly separated from her lips then looked at her. "Is that proof enough that I'm not gay?" He asked as his face expression went back to normal. He turned around and started walking to the nearest window. "Looks like it stopped raining." Sonic picked up his school bag and headed towards the door. He grabbed the doorknob and opened the door all the way. Before he stepped out he turned his head back a little. "Don't get lost." Was all he said before he stepped out and closed the door behind him leaving Amy still frozen on the wall.

Amy quickly ran towards her house. "Oh no! What am I gonna tell my dad?" She thought to herself. She finally made it home and saw her father waiting in the front door.

"Amy!" Yelled out a white tall hedgehog with golden emerald eyes and a white tank-top, brown shorts and brown sandals. He quickly ran towards Amy and hugged him. "Thank God, you're alright!"

...That's my dad, his name is Anthony. After my mom passed away a couple of years ago, my dad has alway been jumpy, scared to loose me as he lost her...

"Yeah dad, I'm fine." Amy responded as he slowly pulled me away then bent down.

"You're wet. C'mon, lets go inside. Take a shower and when you come out there will be a new pair of clothes on your bed." I nodded and we went inside.

Anthony walked towards a box and reached in for a picture on a frame. "Rose…You have no idea how much we miss you...I know you're watching us from above but please come and visit us in our dreams once in a while…" He thought to himself as he placed the frame on the table.

After the shower, Amy placed a towel on my head and another around my body. She went inside her room and saw what clothes Anthony decided to pick out. "Dad, when are you gonna understand I'm not a little girl anymore? Plus this outfit is more for my ballet recital." Amy thought to herself and laughed while closing the door behind her. She decided to change into those clothes anyways. It would make her dad happy. Amy put on a short white tutu dress along with some white tights and flats. She went over to her small jewelry box. She only had a few things like a necklace or a bracelet. She then reached for a white feather accessory to go with her outfit. She held it tightly and her eyes started tearing up but refused to shed a tear.

"Remember Amy, be strong and always smile. Crying will just show them you're weak but with a smile on your face, you'll show them your invincible."

"Mom…I promise…I won't cry no matter what…I'll be strong for you!" Amy thought to herself as she remembered what her mother once told her. She went over a nearby mirror and placed it on the side.

"Amy! Time for dinner!" Amy's father called out.

"I'll be right down!" She responded. She headed down the stairs and into the kitchen. "Hey dad!" Anthony looked over to Amy.

"Sweetie, you look beautiful!" He said while going over to Amy. He placed his hands on her shoulders then leaned over and kissed her head. When he leaned back he noticed the white feather. "Rose would've been so proud of you…" Anthony said in a low calm voice. Instead of looking sad the both smiled.

"Thanks dad. I know she would too."

"Alright, lets go wash our hands before dinner!" Amy and Anthony both headed to the bathroom. Suddenly the floor started shaking.

"D-daddy! Whats going on?" She asked him as she held him tight.

"Quick! Out of the house!" Anthony grabbed Amy's arm as they tried to get out the door. It was harder than they thought since they couldn't keep tho balance and they're house became an obstacle course since almost everything was on their way or kept trying to land them. They finally made it out of the house and the the neighbors coming out too. When they turned back to their house they saw how it slowly was falling apart...Their house was completely destroyed…as for the neighbors, things got shattered and broken but the buildings were still up.

"Honey quick! Turn to channel 6!" Yelled out a lavender hedgehog with her hair tied down and back along with emerald green eyes and a white, one shoulder and side split, dress with a golden elastic waist belt along with some golden high heel Egyptian shoes as she was talking on the phone.

"Alright alright." Responded a green hedgehog hedgehog with royal blue eyes wearing a sky blue short sleeve button down shirt with a red tie and blue jeans along with timberlands boots. He walked over to the living room and quickly turned on the tv then sat down on the sofa, as the lavender hedgehog joined him.

Breaking news:

"'An unexpected earthquake just hit Mobius. Luckily, no one got hurt. Although it did cause some damage to several houses, only one got destroyed. Right now we are in front of the demolished house. According to the information provided for the weather news this is considered a deep-focus earthquake. The intensity has measured three on the Richter Scale. The neighboring cities only measured up to two on the Richter Scale. Neighbors told us that the house was recently finished a few days ago. Mr. Anthony and his daughter are taking this situation really hard. They are in complete denial at the moment.'

One of the news reporters slowly climbed up on the shattered building, making their way up to interview Anthony and Amy which looked like they were searching for something. 'What were you doing when the house collapse?'

'We were…caught up in…agh! We were trying to get out!' Responded Amy as she continued searching.

'Is that so?' The reporter asked. "What are you looking for now?'

'We…we're looking for my mom!'

'Your mom?' The reporter turned to the camera. 'Ladies and Gentlemen, it seems like there has been a person buried under here.'

'N-no! It's not a person!' Quickly responded Anthony.

'Its not? Well then what is it?'

'Its- Please don't report us right now!' Responded Amy.

'Stop recording!' Anthony quickly placed a hand over the camera.'Stop the filming, please! Thank you.'"

The green hedgehog quickly turned off the tv. "Honey is that Anthony?"

"Yes!" Quickly responded as she grabbed him arm that was still out in the air as he turned of the tv, and shook it. They both turned to each other.

With Anthony

"Excuse me!" asked the lavender hedgehog to a group of people. "Do you know someone by the name of Anthony?" Meanwhile Anthony was still looking for the picture. With no luck of asking people, they decided to search for them on their own.

"Honey, look!" The green hedgehog quickly picked up a guitar. "I can't believe he still has this! After all these years!" He said as he started playing it.

"Hm…?" Anthony spotted a broken frame and quickly picked it up. "Rose! I found you!" Suddenly Anthony's ears twitched and he turned towards where the music was coming from. "Alex?" He asked while looking at a green hedgehog. "Alex!" Anthony quickly ran over to Alex and hugged him.

"Anthony! We found you!" They all gave each other a group hug as some tears were forming in their eyes. "I can't believe you still have this." Alex said as he held the guitar for him to see. "I really gotta thank you man, if it wasn't for you I wouldn't of met my wife. You do still remember Aleena don't you?" They turned over to her.

"Yeah! You were our cupid!" Aleena responded with a smile.

"Of course I remember her!" Responded Anthony. "And to think, we haven't seen each other since high school. Faith has given us a chance to reunite."

Meanwhile with Amy

Amy, Cream and Rouge were laughing and giggling on their way to school. "Oh! I'm really sorry to bring this up but I saw you at the news last night…Did your house really get destroyed?" Cream asked shyly.

Amy sighed. "Yeah, but don't worry about it. Everything will be just fine."

"Aren't you afraid of all the rumors everyone will be passing by? Especially since you got rejected by Sonic…heheh, no offense or anything."

"Non-taken, I guess." She said as she looked down in a little embarrassment. She later started slowing down her pace until she came into a complete stop. "...I'm just simply not interested in those kinds of things right now…" Sonic's words kept echoing over her head as she started blushing.

"Uh…Amy?" Asked Cream.

"You alright girl?" Added Rouge. Amy quickly snapped back.

"O-oh yeah! I'm fine, don't worry about me! Heheh." When they were all entering the school everyone completely dropped what they were doing and turned over to them. "o…kay…?" Amy thought to herself. They continued walking as they heard loud whispers.

"Did you hear that the earthquake destroyed her house?

"Yeah! It's let her completely homeless!"

"I also heard that she was rejected by Sonic just yesterday."

"Poor thing's having a rough day right now."

Amy and the others quickly found a safe place away from everyone else. "Thank goodness we lost them." Amy sighed with relief. Suddenly they heard a loud group of people and decided to cheek it out.

"Hey whats going on over there?" Asked Cream. They then saw Silver, Shadow and Knuckles carrying some buckets in one hand and the other a megaphone.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, step right up here and help us donate for those who's homes got destroyed by the earthquake!" Shouted Silver in a cheerful voice. Shadow rolled his eyes with his arm crossed and with one hand grabbing a bucket.

"I still can't believe you dragged me into this, Silver."

"Ah, don't say that! We're doing this for a good cause." Responded Knuckles as he was reaching out his bucket for donations.

"Shadow! Whats going on here?" Asked Rouge.

"Silver wanted to raise a fundraiser for all the people who's homes got damaged 'cause of the earthquake. Especially Rose's" He responded. Silver noticed Amy.

"Oh Amy! Come here!" He went over to her, grabbed her hand and dragged her back to where he was standing before. "This is a victim of the earthquake that took event on yesterday! Won't you help and donate some money for food?" Embarrassed Amy looked away and started blushing.

"Sonic is coming over!" Yelled a voice from the crowd. Everyone made way fro him and tails to pass by as they looked at him.

"Hey Sonic, we're raising a fundraiser for Amy and other victims like her for the earthquake." Said Knuckles. "Donate a bit?"

"Excuse me." Sonic tried to get through.

"Whats with that attitude? That shit storm wasn't enough for you? It's bad enough you've broken her heart already." Silver said in a low serious voice.

"Sonic doesn't have time for things like this. It's really not necessary anyways. The government could just help them on that so really, you're just waisting time here." Tails said sarcastically.

"Whats wrong with a little help?" Cream asked Tails shyly but with courage. Tails turned over to Cream and just raised an eyebrow and faintly smiled causing her to blush lightly as she turned away from him.

"Just donate a bit." Knuckles insisted.

"Sure, I'll donate." Sonic was about to drop some money into the bucket until Amy came in and prevented him from doing so.

"I won't accept it!" Amy looked up to him as he looked straight looking annoyed. "W-why did I have to fall for someone l-like you!" She blush and struggled for the words to come out. "I'd rather die then accept your help!" Sonic slowly looked over towards her and leaned over facing her.

"You said so yourself." Was all he said before they walked away.

"Exactly!" Amy yelled out as they were leaving. "A ass-hole like you who looks down on others, just disgusts me!"

After School

Amy changed backed into her Ballerina suit since it was the only actual clean clothes she had aside from her uniform. For the rest of the day she and Anthony picked through the building looking for things that weren't broken or some of their clothes. It was dark when they finished. They loaded it all into a truck and drove away.

"So where are we going dad?" Asked Amy as she looked out the window.

"We're gonna stay at a friends house for a while." Responded Anthony. "He's an old friend of mine. We've been close friends since middle school."

Little did Amy know about the twist of fate that is about to happen the next moment.
