"We need to save our son." Regina realized she had used most of her strength. Trying to hurt Emma, she had nothing left to save the most important person in her life. She had hoped that in Emma's dark magic induced haze, she would still have enough love left to save Henry.

Emma stopped dead in her tracks and looked down at the lifeless form of her son. The darkness consumed her, but there was no way she could lose her son. She nodded. The former Queen clutched Emma's hand.

Regina put her hand over Henry's heart. A warm blast of light, Regina eyes started to glow purple. While Emma's eyes turned back to their original blue green. Henry's lifeless body started to float. Regina's hand never moving from his chest, Emma placed her hand on his back. Regina's magic lit up a magnificent gold while Emma's magic was almost completely black. Their magic combined in a thick cold smoke that blinded everyone around.

When the smoke had cleared, Henry was in Regina's arms. Emma stood behind Regina staring at them as they embraced. Tamsin looked up her heart clenched in her chest. The woman she had longed for was now holding her son. A moment that should have brought the Valkyrie great joy, instead only brought her agony. Emma had a half smile ono her face, and looked like she was glowing. Her darkness had faded.

The moment was gone and within a heartbeat of time. Emma started to have lighting flying from her fingertips. Before Emma could place the killing blow to the back of Regina's head, the Dark One's dagger was placed to her throat. Pulling her back, from the mother and son.

"Emma this madness must stop," Snow, said as she pressed the dagger a little deeper into Emma's neck. Snow held it so closely and so tightly to Emma's neck that small amounts of blood begin to trickle down the blade.

"If she is alive, Henry will never be mine." Emma yelled then easily shook free of Snow's grip, throwing her to floor. The dagger fell into Tamsin's hands. Emma tried to scramble for the lost weapon but the Valkyrie had it firmly in her possession.

"Whoever controls the dagger controls the Dark One." Tamsin shouted remembering the quick lesson she had received of Henry.

"Hand it over before I end you."

Tamsin smirked, "I don't think you can. Not as long as I have this."

"Give it to me."

"Come get it."

"You don't want to do this. I stopped you with one blow last time."

"I didn't have this, now come and get me." Emma charged Tamsin. Emma jumped on top of the Valkyrie.

"Maybe I will end you and stop this madness."

"You wish."

"Get off of me." Tamsin yelled, and a gush of wind knocked Emma back. The dagger still had a strong hold on the Dark One. Tamsin stood up and slowly walked over to Emma. She raised the dagger ready stab Emma in the heart. "Time to end this," Tamsin yelled.

A blast of light shook the ground. The light cracked the air causing a gust of wind. It was strong enough to push Emma away from the angry Valkyrie into a tree. Emma slammed hard hitting her head. The fallen Savoir slumped to the ground. When Tamsin looked around Regina was standing next to her. Regina had used the last of her strength to stop Tamsin from ending Emma's life.

"You stopped me from killer her," Tamsin looked away from Regina and down at the blade in her hands. You love her don't you?" Tears started to form in Tamsin's eyes. She was never good enough for anyone. She was never good enough for Bo. Now she wasn't good enough for Regina. A sharp pain felt like it was crushing her in her chest.

"No I stopped you from the endless darkness, because… I love you Tamsin." Regina placed her hand on the Valkyrie's check and brushed away the fallen tear. "You are so very important to me. I couldn't let you live in the world of complete darkness that killing Emma would have caused. The one who kills the Dark One then becomes the Dark One."

"So what do we do now?" Tamsin said trying her hardest not to grab Regina a kiss her hard; she knew it wasn't the time or place for that.

"Give me the dagger." Regina held out her hand.

"Are you going to kill her?" Tamsin finally looked Regina in the eyes. Henry stood up and clumsily rushed to his mother's side. Still a little groggy he stumbled a bit in to Regina's arms. She helped him stand and he smoothed out his clothing.

"Mom you can't," Henry begged as Emma started to awaken.

"Can I have the dagger please?" Regina held out her hand and Tamsin reluctantly placed the blade softly in Regina's palm. Emma stood and slowly marched toward the three. She may have been a harbinger of dark magic but the abuse she had suffered was starting to wear on her. Magic smoke starting to trickle from Emma's fingers. Regina looked at the dagger and spoke directly into it.

"Emma sit, do not use your magic." Emma looked confused then sat right in front of Regina. Still staring at the dagger Regina looked over to a dazed Snow. "Snow you had the dagger this whole time and you didn't think about maybe telling Emma to heel."

"I didn't know it worked like that." Snow said while rubbing the back of her neck.

"Who let you idiots rule an entire kingdom. You can't even get a simple concept of whoever has the dagger controls the Dark One. You have to tell her directly. I don't think it is really that hard of a concept. Tamsin understood and she isn't even from our land."

"I had a good teacher." Tamsin smiled tapped Henry on the shoulder. Regina wanted so badly to make a snide comment about the Charming's just being stupid. However seeing Tamsin's smile made the former queen melt so she held her tongue and let Valkyrie have her moment. "So what do we do with her now." Tamsin said eyeing Emma on the ground. Regina shook her head.

"We should take her to the Dal and ask Trick." Bo said breathlessly while still getting up. "If anyone would know how to stop her it's Trick. I mean the guy has been around longer than even Tamsin. If anyone is going to know anything it's him."

Bo sat to next Henry; he sat quietly with his arms wrapped protectively around his knees. Henry's eyes never left the fallen Savior.

"I was adopted too." Bo said quietly. For the first time Henry eyes shifted from Emma to the Succubus. "I always felt like there was a piece of me missing. My adopted mother didn't understand…" Bo tried to find the right words. "But you know my biological mother was a real piece of work…." Bo was tripping over her words trying her best, but failing miserably.

Henry looked up at Bo. "I think what you are trying to say." Henry started to talk softly. "You loved the woman who raised you. She tried to understand you the best she could but you were just different from everyone around. Just like my Mom did with me." Henry said sadly. "You felt like she failed in a way. You searched for who you really were. You may have even thought of your birth Mom as a hero. Only to find out that the person you were all along was because of the person who raised you."

"Yeah and a little genetics," Bo patted Henry on the shoulder. "Something like that. You are very perceptive kid."

"Not really Tamsin told me."

"Figures," Bo smiled.

"Did your birth Mom turn into a monster and try to kill you too?" Henry said sadly. Bo looked and the ground and shrugged.

"Yeah once," Bo whispered, and Henry nodded. Then he looked the succubus in the eye.

"Did you ever make up with the woman who adopted you?"

"Yeah I did." Bo smiled and Henry shot her a half grin and went back to staring at the Emma.

"And your birth Mother," Henry asked a spark of hope in his eyes. Bo swallowed hard.

"She is kind of crazy but in the end I do think she loved me."

"Right now so is mine."

"I think everything will work out ok in the end." Bo patted Henry on the shoulder. "Regina is pretty powerful and Tamsin is the toughest and the most loyal person I have ever met. If anyone can save her…" Bo pointed to Emma. "It's those two."
